Chapter Seventeen: Alliance

Post by Alphie »

1. Do you think the majority of the people came to the party to celebrate with Bella or just to see the inside of the Cullen's house?

2. Were you as surprised as Bella was that Jacob came to the party? Would you have asked him to leave?

3. Do you think Jacob's gift of the bracelet was more of a reminder to Bella or to Edward about his friendship and devotion to her?

4. How did you feel about the alliance that was formed between the wolves and the vampires? Was it something you had expected for a while or were you surprised?

5. Did you think the alliance was going to work or did you have concerns over their ability to actually work together?

1. Do you think the majority of the people came to the party to celebrate with Bella or just to see the inside of the Cullen's house?
i think they all came to see the Cullen house..i mean, nowhere else in the books do they talk about bella being friends with all of the senior and most of the junior classes. so y would she celebrate with them. they were definately curious.

2. Were you as surprised as Bella was that Jacob came to the party? Would you have asked him to leave?
i wasn't surprised at all. sometimes jacob doesn't get it, as bella said "the right hook was her uninviting him" i wouldn't have asked him to leave, i would have demanded it. obviously bella hadn't forgiven him yet, so y does he push it.

3. Do you think Jacob's gift of the bracelet was more of a reminder to Bella or to Edward about his friendship and devotion to her?
it was a reminder to bella that hes still there, hes still her friend. to edward i think it said that joacob cares for her too, and he'll stop at nothing to try and win her heart.

4. How did you feel about the alliance that was formed between the wolves and the vampires? Was it something you had expected for a while or were you surprised?
i was surprised, but when they made the agreement it really clicked, like " o y didn't they do that before!"

5. Did you think the alliance was going to work or did you have concerns over their ability to actually work together?
i had concerns. i could see one of the newer werewolves or paul getting upset, and attacking the Cullens. but i could also see Emmett getting out of hand and going after the wolves.

1. Do you think the majority of the people came to the party to celebrate with Bella or just to see the inside of the Cullen's house?

I think that maybe Angela and Mike were the only two people who actualy came to celebrate with Bella, the others were only there to see the house.

2. Were you as surprised as Bella was that Jacob came to the party? Would you have asked him to leave?

No, actually it seemed like something he would do, I would've probably asked him to leave if I was in Bella's position.

3. Do you think Jacob's gift of the bracelet was more of a reminder to Bella or to Edward about his friendship and devotion to her?

It was both more than likely.

4. How did you feel about the alliance that was formed between the wolves and the vampires? Was it something you had expected for a while or were you surprised?

It was something I had expected, but I had never imagined it would've went over as well as it did.

5. Did you think the alliance was going to work or did you have concerns over their ability to actually work together?

I did have concerns at first, but as they got used to being around each other I knew it would work out.

1. Do you think the majority of the people came to the party to celebrate with Bella or just to see the inside of the Cullen's house?

A: See the house.

2. Were you as surprised as Bella was that Jacob came to the party? Would you have asked him to leave?

A: A little. Only if he kept acting like a jerk.

3. Do you think Jacob's gift of the bracelet was more of a reminder to Bella or to Edward about his friendship and devotion to her?

A: Both. Definitely both.

4. How did you feel about the alliance that was formed between the wolves and the vampires? Was it something you had expected for a while or were you surprised?

A: Expected and hoped for. I'd like them to be friends, however limited. It'd make it easier on everyone.

5. Did you think the alliance was going to work or did you have concerns over their ability to actually work together?

A: I figured it would work. Much as they hate each other they do have a common goal. "The enemy of my enemy is my friend" and all.

Both, as far as we know that was the only party going on that night, what else is there to do in FORKS??? I am sure they all wanted to see the Cullen house too, it is like a ticket to the UNKOWN!!!

2. Were you as surprised as Bella was that Jacob came to the party? Would you have asked him to leave?

No, I was not surprised, Jacob is gutsy like that. I don't think that I would have asked him to leave, unless trouble started...

3. Do you think Jacob's gift of the bracelet was more of a reminder to Bella or to Edward about his friendship and devotion to her?

BOTH...Jacob really likes to taunt Edward, Jacob really loves Bella...BOTH, for sure.

4. How did you feel about the alliance that was formed between the wolves and the vampires? Was it something you had expected for a while or were you surprised?

Pleasantly surprised!!! I think them banning together was great. The Cullens don't want to hurt anyone, should all of a group of individuals be punished for things that a handful do??? NOT...

5. Did you think the alliance was going to work or did you have concerns over their ability to actually work together?
I really believed that they could work together, if for no other reason, than because of STEPH and the way she writes and her theme of love...
"Time passes. Even when it seems impossible. Even when each tick of the second hand aches like the pulse of blood behind a bruise. It passes unevenly, in strange lurches and dragging lulls, but pass it does. Even for
me". (NM4)

"Losing track of time was the most I asked from life". (NM 4)

1. Most of the people came to see the Cullen house. A few (like Angela, Mike, and Jessica) actually came to celebrate with Bella.

2.kind of. That was something that Jacob would do. I would have asked that he leave if I were Bella.

3.Both definitely.

4.I expected for the alliance. It actually went over surprisingly well especially since Jacob has been known to be a bit of a hard head at times.

5.I had a few concerns with this new alliance, especially more with the fact that now Edward and Jacob were on the same team, but all in all it went over pretty well.

To see the Cullens house, after Bella's zombie stage she lost all of her 'popularity' Things were very strained with her 'friends'and I mean, who isn't curious about the mysterious Cullens?

2. Were you as surprised as Bella was that Jacob came to the party? Would you have asked him to leave?

I was very suprised, I wasn't sure when we were going to here from him again. I definetly didn't think he would actually go to the Cullens house! If I was Bella I would NOT have asked him to leave, even if he was kind of a jerk, they are best friends and she loves him even if she doesn't know it. She couldn't ask him to leave, especially after he gave her that awesome braclet.

3. Do you think Jacob's gift of the bracelet was more of a reminder to Bella or to Edward about his friendship and devotion to her?

Both, always Both. (as Edward would say)
New car? Check.
Fancy school? Check.
Sexy Fiance? Check.
And you're STILL whining???

1) I definitely think that people just wanted to see the house. None of them actually knew the Cullens very well, but they are rich, they live out of town, and are extremely mysterious.
2) Jacob will be Jacob. I thought he might- he's just too persistent to give up just because Bella punched him."Unless my right hook was too subtle for you, let me translate: that was me uninviting you." ~ Bella to Jacob- a great quote- but Jacob really doesn't care if he was 'uninvited'.
3) I think the bracelet was for both Edward and Bella. It was a threat to Edward telling him that he's still fighting for Bella's love, and it was a reminder to Bella that she has a choice.
4) I'm pretty sure I wasn't surprised. I thought they might have to work everything out together as a team.
5) I thought it might erupt into a fight. More of a Jacob-Edward than anything, though.

1. Do you think the majority of the people came to the party to celebrate with Bella or just to see the inside of the Cullen's house?

Definately to see the inside of the Cullen's home.

2. Were you as surprised as Bella was that Jacob came to the party? Would you have asked him to leave?

Since Bella is a danger magnent it did not suprise methat Jacob showed up and caused a little bit of trouble. Even if i wanted to ask him to leave I would nothavebeen able to because I dont think I would be able to tell someone to leave once I invited them.

3. Do you think Jacob's gift of the bracelet was more of a reminder to Bella or to Edward about his friendship and devotion to her?

Honestly I didnt think of the reminder it would be to Edward. I think Jacob sincerely made the reminder for Bella andit was just a bonus that Edward was reminded as well!

4. How did you feel about the alliance that was formed between the wolves and the vampires? Was it something you had expected for a while or were you surprised?

I was happy with the allience. Would have been happier if it was on better terms (not for just killing the newborns) but it was better than nothing. I new that the werewolves would try to help Bella because of their friendship with her, but never expected a full allience with the Cullens.

5. Did you think the alliance was going to work or did you have concerns over their ability to actually work together?

I always thought it was going to work because just the fact that they decided to do it, in my opinion was the biggest obstacle. Once they decided to do it, once Sam decided to do it, I dont think the other werewolves were going to defy him and be reckless when it came to working together.

1. Do you think the majority of the people came to the party to celebrate with Bella or just to see the inside of the Cullen's house?

I think the majority of the people that came wanted to see the inside of the Cullen's house more than to party with Bella. Everyone was already morbidly curious about the Cullens as it was, so they would take any chance to find out more.

2. Were you as surprised as Bella was that Jacob came to the party? Would you have asked him to leave?

YES, very. I mean, he went from not even being able to be in the same room with one vampire to entering the house of vampires. I would not have asked him to leave at all, unless he or his friends started anything with the vampires.

3. Do you think Jacob's gift of the bracelet was more of a reminder to Bella or to Edward about his friendship and devotion to her?

Definately a reminder for Bella as well as a thoughtful, simple birthday gift to her. I didn't get any type of feeling he gave her a gift in spite of Edward.

4. How did you feel about the alliance that was formed between the wolves and the vampires? Was it something you had expected for a while or were you surprised?

I thought it was a great idea, though I really had not completely expected it. It made perfect sense though.

5. Did you think the alliance was going to work or did you have concerns over their ability to actually work together?

I thought it would work well, seeing as both sides had reasons to hate and want victoria dead. (she was trying to kill Bella, she killed on the Werewolves' tuf, ect.) I thought that would, for the time being, overrule any tension between the Cullens and the wolves
