1. When Bella made the connection between the thief and the Seattle newborns, were you surprised? If not, when did you figure it out?

I wasn't surprised in the least, in fact, I wanted to smack everyone in the forehead and say, "It's about time!"
The moment Jasper spoke about the newborns there was no question in my mind who was behind their creation and the purpose behind Bella's clothes going missing. I was most surprised that Edward didn't figure it out.

2. How did you feel about Jess making light of the "friendship" she shared with Bella? Would you have reacted the same way Bella reacted?

Jess' blubbering about their "friendship" didn't bother me much because, as Bella figured out, the feelings were all part of the moment. I would have reacted a lot like Bella giving a polite smile and nodding, but not actually agreeing to staying in touch by keeping my answers vague.

3. Do you think Bella would have been more excited to graduate if there wasn't the danger from Seattle looming over her? Or do you think she still would have been contemplating the "ending" of her human life?

Bella had been contemplating the "ending" of her human life for the last few weeks, so I don't believe those thoughts would have been put on the back burner for the graduation ceremony. She likely would have been thinking more about how she was going to say "good-bye."
If she hadn't realized the connection of the newborns then I think she would have enjoyed the graduation ceremony, but not actually been excited. Bella's not really the excitable type unless Edward is involved.

4. Charlie expresses some concern about not being able to give Bella everything, yet Bella tells him he's been the best dad. How honest do you think Bella was being in that whole conversation?

I believe that Bella was being very honest. Charlie did do the best he knew how and she understands that completely. Bella didn't need coddling, but when she needed Charlie to be a dad he was there.
I lift my lips from kissing you
To kiss the sky
Cloud soft and blue
And slow the sun melts down
Into your golden words for me

1. When Bella made the connection between the thief and the Seattle newborns, were you surprised? If not, when did you figure it out?

I was kind of suprised, kind of not. I thought that it was too close to be coincidental.

2. How did you feel about Jess making light of the "friendship" she shared with Bella? Would you have reacted the same way Bella reacted?

I thought that was just Jessica being Jessica. I probably would've reacted the same way.

3. Do you think Bella would have been more excited to graduate if there wasn't the danger from Seattle looming over her? Or do you think she still would have been contemplating the "ending" of her human life?

She probably would have been more exicted, but I think she would still have been contemplating the end of her human life.

4. Charlie expresses some concern about not being able to give Bella everything, yet Bella tells him he's been the best dad. How honest do you think Bella was being in that whole conversation?

I think Bella was almost completely honest.

1. When Bella made the connection between the thief and the Seattle newborns, were you surprised? If not, when did you figure it out?

I am bad with predicting things, but this is one thing that i figured out earlie on. As soon as they knew the attacks were new borns, i knew the connection that it had with Victoria as well.

2. How did you feel about Jess making light of the "friendship" she shared with Bella? Would you have reacted the same way Bella reacted?

Jess is a strange, excited, graduating teenage girl. Common...i think many of us here have been at or had our own highschool graduation and know "those" people.

3. Do you think Bella would have been more excited to graduate if there wasn't the danger from Seattle looming over her? Or do you think she still would have been contemplating the "ending" of her human life?

I think she would have been a little more excited. This is the time where she is really no longer controlled by her parents and now she is free to run off and do whatever she wants, including being with Edward.

4. Charlie expresses some concern about not being able to give Bella everything, yet Bella tells him he's been the best dad. How honest do you think Bella was being in that whole conversation?

I think Bella was distracted during most of the conversation, but was still being honest. She knows that her dad wants nothing but the best for her, and being a single parent is tough. I think that she truly does think that Charlie has raised her well.

Thanks to Leaf for the Banner!

I really wasnt surprised at all, I just thought Edward would have believed her sooner! As soon as the theif came I thought it was obvious and didnt even think it could have been someone else.

2. How did you feel about Jess making light of the "friendship" she shared with Bella? Would you have reacted the same way Bella reacted?

Hell no i wouldnt have reacted the same way..actually who am I kidding i prolly would have but, I would have wanted to say..."umm did i miss something i thought you hated me" lol

3. Do you think Bella would have been more excited to graduate if there wasn't the danger from Seattle looming over her? Or do you think she still would have been contemplating the "ending" of her human life?

I really think Bella never would have been all giddy about graduating even if she hadnt moved to Forks. She is never really one to get all emotinal and excited over stuff like that. But regardless she was always contemplating about her human life "ending"

4. Charlie expresses some concern about not being able to give Bella everything, yet Bella tells him he's been the best dad. How honest do you think Bella was being in that whole conversation?
I really think deep down Bella loves her dad uncondionaly but she doesnt ever really like to get all mushy with him. Her telling him he is the best dad just makes up for her not telling him how much she loves him, and getting all mushy.

1. When Bella made the connection between the thief and the Seattle newborns, were you surprised? If not, when did you figure it out?

No, I was not suprised. I figured it out earlier in the book. I kept thinking that Edward or Alice was on the verge of figuring it out. I was supprised Bella made the connection. I think the fact that she made the discovery with have something to do with her some of her vampire abilities in the future!

2. How did you feel about Jess making light of the "friendship" she shared with Bella? Would you have reacted the same way Bella reacted?

I don't know. She wants to start acting all close now, why not earlier? I know that situations like these make people take inventory of their lives and sometimes they feel more attatched to things than normal. I am attributing her behavior to this. I think Bella acted well, I know she liked to feel like she was leaving the friendship on a good note.

3. Do you think Bella would have been more excited to graduate if there wasn't the danger from Seattle looming over her? Or do you think she still would have been contemplating the "ending" of her human life?

She might have been a tad bit more happier or maybe more at ease, but she is not the type of person who likes things like this. Not to mention she is freaking out about what she is about to embark upon! I think she would have still been comtemplating the "ending" of her human life.

4. Charlie expresses some concern about not being able to give Bella everything, yet Bella tells him he's been the best dad. How honest do you think Bella was being in that whole conversation?

I think she was being honest. She thinks that Charlie has done the best he can for what he has been given. He didn't want to leave Bella's mom in the first place, he is still, in a way, hanging on to that relationship. He loves his daughter, and he tries to make the best choices in raising her and Bella knows that. She sees how hard he tries, given the circumstances. She wants to leave him knowing that she loves him and she appreciates everything he has been and done for her.

1. When Bella made the connection between the thief and the Seattle newborns, were you surprised? If not, when did you figure it out?
i wasn't really surprised. i think i tied them together when bella's things went missing in the first place.

2. How did you feel about Jess making light of the "friendship" she shared with Bella? Would you have reacted the same way Bella reacted?

i felt like Jess was using Bella again, just because she was in the spotlight from holding a big graduation party. i think i would have been better at pretending.

3. Do you think Bella would have been more excited to graduate if there wasn't the danger from Seattle looming over her? Or do you think she still would have been contemplating the "ending" of her human life?

i don't think she would have been more excited. gradation usually evokes some thought on the future and the past. the end of her human life falls into that same train of thought.

4. Charlie expresses some concern about not being able to give Bella everything, yet Bella tells him he's been the best dad. How honest do you think Bella was being in that whole conversation?
i think Bella was trying to tell her dad how much she really does love him. she used the hallmark phrase "best dad ever" instead of going to into mushy details that is uncomfortable for charlie. i think she was being honest the whole time.

1. When Bella made the connection between the thief and the Seattle newborns, were you surprised? If not, when did you figure it out?
i actually thought she already had! see, i skim when i read a book for the first time.. well not skim but i miss things.. b/c im so excited. i hate that habit. anyway, i thought it WAS really, REALLY obvious that victoria was connected to everything. like with new moon, i thought bella thought eddie still loved her. when she didnt think that until the end.

2. How did you feel about Jess making light of the "friendship" she shared with Bella? Would you have reacted the same way Bella reacted?

3. Do you think Bella would have been more excited to graduate if there wasn't the danger from Seattle looming over her? Or do you think she still would have been contemplating the "ending" of her human life?
a little more excited. but probably still contemplating the ending of her human life. its bigger than graduation.

4. Charlie expresses some concern about not being able to give Bella everything, yet Bella tells him he's been the best dad. How honest do you think Bella was being in that whole conversation?
hes not the world's best dad, and hes a little (well, a lot) too lenient. bella can walk all over him. but i think she was a little truthful, but most just trying to make him feel better.

1. When Bella made the connection between the thief and the Seattle newborns, were you surprised? If not, when did you figure it out?

it wasnt what i was thinking, but i wasnt as surprised as i thought i might be, i knew they were connected somehow

2. How did you feel about Jess making light of the "friendship" she shared with Bella? Would you have reacted the same way Bella reacted?

it was such a Jessica thing to do. knowing this i would have reacted like Bella did

3. Do you think Bella would have been more excited to graduate if there wasn't the danger from Seattle looming over her? Or do you think she still would have been contemplating the "ending" of her human life?

She would have been relating graduation, to the end of her human life, because that is such a big time in her life, and at the time i dont think she was completely ready for her human life to end.

4. Charlie expresses some concern about not being able to give Bella everything, yet Bella tells him he's been the best dad. How honest do you think Bella was being in that whole conversation?

I think Bella was being honest, Bella obviously really cares for Charlie, but they both arent really into expressing their feelings. That was just their way of telling eachother that they do care.
The Twilight Saga-
for all people who just need that extra reminder how much they really do care.

1. When Bella made the connection between the thief and the Seattle newborns, were you surprised? If not, when did you figure it out?
I was surprised when she DIDN'T figure it out. I figured it out when her things were stolen by a vampire
2. How did you feel about Jess making light of the "friendship" she shared with Bella? Would you have reacted the same way Bella reacted?
I think it was nice that Jess left their friendship on a good note.
3. Do you think Bella would have been more excited to graduate if there wasn't the danger from Seattle looming over her? Or do you think she still would have been contemplating the "ending" of her human life?
I can't see Bella as "excited" either way. I think it was the walking and attention that she was dreading in the first place with the added problem of the "ending".
4. Charlie expresses some concern about not being able to give Bella everything, yet Bella tells him he's been the best dad. How honest do you think Bella was being in that whole conversation?
I think she was completely honest. Bella prefers not to get gifts and she really likes how Charlie is. She always says how easy he is to live with.

1. When Bella made the connection between the thief and the Seattle newborns, were you surprised? If not, when did you figure it out?

Yes and no. When she first made the connection it wasn't surprising to me, only because I thought back to Jasper's story and knowing Victoria wouldn't have given up that easily. It made perfect sense, I was actually kicking myself for not realising it sooner! Haha.

2. How did you feel about Jess making light of the "friendship" she shared with Bella? Would you have reacted the same way Bella reacted?

Yeah, I definitely think I would have reacted the same way Bella did. She had so, so, SO much on her mind, not to mention what she had said earlier about it maybe being a bad idea to get close to Angela. She'll be changing soon, or so I assume/hope, and it was easier to shrug it off then give false hope.

3. Do you think Bella would have been more excited to graduate if there wasn't the danger from Seattle looming over her? Or do you think she still would have been contemplating the "ending" of her human life?

I don't think graduating would have ever posed as something she would have been *excited* about, Edward or no Edward. It's just the vibe I get from her, I could be wrong. Between the newborns and the changing I'm surprised she was even able to go to graduation! lol

4. Charlie expresses some concern about not being able to give Bella everything, yet Bella tells him he's been the best dad. How honest do you think Bella was being in that whole conversation?

I definitely think she was being honest. She sees the ending of her human life looming nearer and nearer, and all she really has now is hindsight, and what she sees of her father is good...and all he's done is try to provide for, and protect her. Also, to tie in with the 'hindsight' thing, I'm just putting myself in her shoes here, but I feel like she would have glazed over the bad/awkward times with Charlie and seen mainly the good because she knows she'll be leaving him soon.
