1. Do you think Edward is really jealous or is he just concerned that the wolves are dangerous?

I think it is a mix of both to be honest. I think it does make him a little jealous that Bella would want to go hang out with Jacob, but at the same time I really do think he is worried about her safety. He doesn't want her to end up hurt without a way to protect her.

2. Why do you think Bella is so insistent on seeing Jacob? Is it guilt or could it be something more?

I think it has more to do with the fact that for so many months Jacob was the only thing that helped to pull her out of her funk. He really cared about her and I do believe that besides feeling a little guilty about her not being able to hang out with Jacob, she just missed her best friend. He had become a little addiction to her. As long as he was happy then all the world was right.

3. Why do you think Alice is not bothered by Bella's outrage at being held hostage?

Alice probably had already seen it coming. Don't forget this is Alice we are talking about here. I think she was pretty much prepared for just about every situation with it came to Bella's temper. That and let's not forget that Alice can get just as tempermental as the next person when she wants something. Let's just say I wouldn't really want to get on Alice's bad side...I don't think it would be pretty.

4. If you were Alice, would you have done what she did in exchange for the car?

I would have done the same thing regardless of the car because the safety of a friend was in question. Now with that being said, I do believe that sisters should be able to milk their brothers for gifts every now and again. LOL! Its not like he wouldn't have given it to her regardless if she would have asked for it.

5. If you were Bella, would you be angry about the bed? Why?

No, I would think of it as a sweet gesture that was done on my behalf. I don't think I would have slept in it myself, but that is just because Edward wouldn't have slept in the bed. Also I would have refused to sleep in it because it would have proved that he thought a little too much about this whole hostage situation.

1. Do you think Edward is really jealous or is he just concerned that the wolves are dangerous?

I think Edward was jealous. He was being irrasional (sp?) when he thought that the Werewolfs would ever hurt Bella, especially Jacob... I think Edward was concerned Bella would hurt herself trying to "creatively" get to La Push.

2. Why do you think Bella is so insistent on seeing Jacob? Is it guilt or could it be something more?

I dont think Bella feels guilty for Jacob until she rips up his heart at the end. When someone is your happy maker for almost a year, you are BOUND to want to see that person. I think she feels a little guilty because it is Bella. She doesnt want to inconvience anyone...

3. Why do you think Alice is not bothered by Bella's outrage at being held hostage?

Because it is not Alice's fault. Alice is a very upbeat person (in my opinion). She feels she should try to make the best out of everything. Plus, how can you feel bothered when you have a Porche in the garage!!!

4. If you were Alice, would you have done what she did in exchange for the car?

Oh yes! Spending time with crazy Bella would be hilarious. And it's a Porche!!!!

5. If you were Bella, would you be angry about the bed? Why?

I'm not sure... I'm still confused as to why she was so angry. I mean, he truelly just wanted her to be comfortable, almost as a way to say "sorry I captured you." I think I would be angry because he went out of his way, but like Bella, I hardly doubt I could stay mad if Edward showed me how awsome the bed is ;]

1. Do you think Edward is really jealous or is he just concerned that the wolves are dangerous?
Both.

2. Why do you think Bella is so insistent on seeing Jacob? Is it guilt or could it be something more?
Because she wants to be there for him, also.

3. Why do you think Alice is not bothered by Bella's outrage at being held hostage?
She knows Bella. It is to be expected.

4. If you were Alice, would you have done what she did in exchange for the car?
Yes, sorry. ^^

5. If you were Bella, would you be angry about the bed? Why?
Yes! What's the point if they're not going to get carried away. <3333
"But," Edward went on, "If I had been able to take your place last night, it would not have made the top ten of the best nights of my life. Dream about that."

1. Do you think Edward is really jealous or is he just concerned that the wolves are dangerous?
-I think both. Even though it looks like vampires don't have a range of emotions like the werewolves do, i just think that they are better at hiding some of there more... uncivilzed feelings especally the cullens who try to retain as much humanity as they can. Edward is worried about her safety but he is mostly jelous because Bella never had a connection with anyone that strongly except for him (even if it isn't romantic until the end of the book) and he has to except that he isn't the only one with a claim on her anymore. Also he knows he has no right to feel jealous when he was the one that left her in the first place and forced her to go to jacob for help. It doesn't help that jacobs a werewolf either because vampires and werewolves hate each other
2. Why do you think Bella is so insistent on seeing Jacob? Is it guilt or could it be something more?
-Of course its something more! She is guilty for abandoning him when he helped her so much but there is no reason she shouldn't want to see him considering he was and still is (sort of) her best friend. Think about it this way- if any of us were to grow distant from our best friend we would try to close the distance. Mainly though- she misses his company
3. Why do you think Alice is not bothered by Bella's outrage at being held hostage?
-Because she knows its justified
4. If you were Alice, would you have done what she did in exchange for the car?
-I would because Alice knows that eventually edward will probably realize that he is wrong and will stop making alice hold her hostage even without her premonitions
5. If you were Bella, would you be angry about the bed? Why?
-Yes because i would think of it as a bribe and getting a bed no way justifys holding someone hostage expecially because its a waste of money considering no one sleeps!

1. Do you think Edward is really jealous or is he just concerned that the wolves are dangerous?

I think he's jealous, and doesn't want to admit it even to himself. I think that he hates admitting to weakness, and doesn't want Bella to see him as weak. I can't blame him for being jealous.

2. Why do you think Bella is so insistent on seeing Jacob? Is it guilt or could it be something more?

I think it's guilt, but I also think that Jacob represents the last vestiges of her humanity (in a way). Giving up Jacob completely means completely realizing what she will give up when Edward turns her into a vampire. I also think that Bella is really young, and it's hard to give up romantic freedom at that age, even if you have someone wonderful worth giving it up for.

3. Why do you think Alice is not bothered by Bella's outrage at being held hostage?

Time is relative to Alice. Alice lives more in the future then the past, and she knows Bella won't be angry for long. Also, I think that because she sees this, transient human emotions like anger bother her less because they last such a relatively short time.

4. If you were Alice, would you have done what she did in exchange for the car?

Yes. Oh yes. Definitely Yes.

5. If you were Bella, would you be angry about the bed? Why?

I think I would be angry because of what a bed represents to human couples that Bella wants so badly--i.e. sex. I think that if I were Bella I couldn't help but see this as a slap in the face, and I would be annoyed that Edward didn't realize this. I mean, what is the point of that huge bed if all you're going to do is sleep in it? The couch is good enough for plain ol' sleeping.

1. Do you think Edward is really jealous or is he just concerned that the wolves are dangerous?

I think it's a mix of both. Maybe Edward doesn't want to admit that he is jealous but he is. He talks about beginning to understand human emotion in the book. Maybe at this point he doesn't see that he is being jealous because he hasn't had to deal with that emotion in this type of situation before. I think he honestly believes that the wolves are dangerous as well.

2. Why do you think Bella is so insistent on seeing Jacob? Is it guilt or could it be something more?

I think he does miss her friend but I also think she feels guilty about the way they left things. I think she wants to make it right. He was really there for her in New Moon so they do have that connection.

3. Why do you think Alice is not bothered by Bella's outrage at being held hostage?

I think it's partly because Alice knows Bella and also because she can see how Bella would react. It's hard to be surprised by a reaction when you know it's coming.

4. If you were Alice, would you have done what she did in exchange for the car?

Anything. I think, though, that even if a car weren't involved Alice would have helped Edward. It seems that she shares the same opinions about the wolves.

5. If you were Bella, would you be angry about the bed? Why?

Haha. I thought the bed scene was funny. The way Alice was so innocent about it was great. I think if I were Bella I would have been surprised as well as angry. I would still (probably) have been angry about the whole hostage thing. But in the end surprise and possibly excitement would have won out when I saw the bed. I mean what is a girl to think when her vampire boyfriend (who doesn't sleep) goes out and buys a bed!

1. Do you think Edward is really jealous or is he just concerned that the wolves are dangerous?
I think it is a combination of both, but I think his jealousy wins out over the two.

2. Why do you think Bella is so insistent on seeing Jacob? Is it guilt or could it be something more?
Besides the fact that Jacob is Bella's best friend, I think one of the biggest reasons why she wants to go down to La Push is because she is told that she is not allowed. I think she feels guilty that Jacob has been put on the back burner since Edward has come back, but I also think it's for bit of selfish reasons that she wants to go down there. She can't stand the thought of him being unhappy and knowing that she is the reason why.

3. Why do you think Alice is not bothered by Bella's outrage at being held hostage?
Because she knows that it is the best for Bella, or at least she thinks it is. Plus, it is Alice, I can honestly think that Alice would enjoy every second of it. Bella would be like her own personal life sized Barbie.

4. If you were Alice, would you have done what she did in exchange for the car?
I'm not sure. I would definitely think about it because the Porsche is an awesome exchange for hanging out with somebody'even if it is against their will. I think she also knows Bella's nature is forgiving, so why not?

5. If you were Bella, would you be angry about the bed? Why?
No, I would think that he was being very thoughtful giving me a place to sleep, even if it was against my will.

1. I think its a combination of both, but mainly its about her safety.

2. Well, I think the guilt definately plays a part in it because Bella has said several times that she owes Jake her life and sanity many times over. But, I think she really has formed a special bond with him (not just friendship) and craves his company. She does love him at this point, but she doesn't realize it yet, which is why she uses the guilt excuse as a coverup.

3. She probably saw a vision and knew that Bella would have a fit.

4. I think I would have done it without getting the car. Alice loves Bella like a sister and should have been willing to have a sleepover with her. But on the otherhand, I think Alice believes that Edward is going a little overboard with this, and so she may have been reluctant to agree to hold Bella hostage.

5. Not really angry, but a little shocked that he would spend so much money on a bed just so she wouldn't have to sleep on the couch for one night. It is a bit ridiculous. But I think all along Edward had more intimate plans involving the bed.
"I was with Edward in my happy place."
