1. How do you feel about imprinting?

I don't really favor it.
Take Sam and Leah and Emily for example.
And Quil and the baby.
*shudders*
It's heartbreaking and a little awkward.
It could be sweet, though, protecting and loving someone forever.

2. Does Sam's story make you feel differently about the wolves? Do you feel more compasionate towards them? Why or why not?

I've always been compassionate towards the wolves. This story just made me 100x more.
It's heartbreaking Sam had no choice but to leave Leah, and it makes me look at him as more of a human being.
:]

3. Do you think Jacob was wrong to show Edward the images of Bella while he was away from her?

Nope.
Edward should be reminded every single day for the rest of his eternity for what he did to Bella.
It was cruel.

4. Do Bella's actions towards Jacob (promising to come back when Edward is away, holding hands with him instead of letting him touch her face) say something different than what she intends them to say?

Augh.
This is what kind of bugs me about Bella.
She'll lead Jacob on unintentionally, then blow him off like it didn't really matter.
Well, it mattered to him.
She needs to make up her mind.

5. What are the advantages and disadvantages of the wolves being able to see each others thoughts, even the most personal ones?

Advantages: They can find eachother easily if they're separated, and they will know what eachother knows about whatever they're hunting or going after, etc..

Disadvantages: Sam and Leah. Ouch. Hearing your friends most personal, deepest thoughts has got to be a little distracting and awkward, not to mention to the person who can't help but think them.

1.How do you feel about imprinting?
*Ummmm... it's weird. I wouldn't want to be forced into a relationship like that (on the non-werewolf side)
2.Does Sam's story make you feel differently about the wolves? Do you feel more compassionate towards them? Why or why not?
*I sympathize with Sam more.
3. Do you think Jacob was wrong to show Edward the images of Bella while he was away from her?
*YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Edward already feels guilty enough! He shouldn't have to be reminded ESPECIALLY for JACOB who at this point (Edwards is not a fool) Edward knows that Jacobs in love with Bella and is just trying to get back at him for stealing his girl (even though she is rightfully Edward's).
4.Do Bella's actions towards Jacob say something different than what she intends them to say?
*Yep. However I think (because she HHAAADDDDDDDDD to include it in the book however much more depressed it makes the readers feel) Bella is lying to herself at this point about why she is doing these things (she's in love with Jacob too).
5. I don't feel like answering this one. Sorry i know ya'll are dissapointed.

1. How do you feel about imprinting?
I think it's kind of crazy.. you don't really have a choice in what you do.

2. Does Sam's story make you feel differently about the wolves? Do you feel more compasionate towards them? Why or why not?
it makes me feel sorry that they have to carry all those burdens.

3. Do you think Jacob was wrong to show Edward the images of Bella while he was away from her?
YES!!! It made me sooooooo mad!! I wanted to beat him up!

4. Do Bella's actions towards Jacob (promising to come back when Edward is away, holding hands with him instead of letting him touch her face) say something different than what she intends them to say?
No not really b/c Jacob was supposed to know how she felt.

5. What are the advantages and disadvantages of the wolves being able to see each others thoughts, even the most personal ones?
advantages: they can track each other when they are in trouble. disadvantages: they can hear every thought even the personal ones.

1. How do you feel about imprinting? I think it could be a good thing in the sense it could help you find a soul mate, but it does hurt other people. How sad would it be if you imprinted on someone who didn't like you! AHHH!

2. Does Sam's story make you feel differently about the wolves? Do you feel more compasionate towards them? Why or why not? I think it humanizes them more.

3. Do you think Jacob was wrong to show Edward the images of Bella while he was away from her? Yes. He was being immature, but in the end it helped Edward see Bella's way.

4. Do Bella's actions towards Jacob (promising to come back when Edward is away, holding hands with him instead of letting him touch her face) say something different than what she intends them to say? Yeah, but I don't think she's aware of it.

5. What are the advantages and disadvantages of the wolves being able to see each others thoughts, even the most personal ones? Well, I think it would bring the pack closer together in the sense that they all know where the other one is coming from, but they could use that against each other too. It would also be annoying if you wanted to keep something to yourself and then EVERYONE knew about it.

1. how do you feel about imprinting?

its kind of cool in the fact of you know right then and there once you see your soulmate.but, it can mess up realationships,as we see with sam and emily.

2.does sam's story make you feel differently about the wolves?Do you feel more compassionate towards them?why or why not.

i think sam's story tells more about his charactar.

3. do you think jacob was wrong to show edward the images of bella while he was away from her?

of course!!!!!he was mad at edward and that was a selfish thing to do,or so i thought.

4.do bella's actions towards jacob(promising to come back when edward is awa, holding hands with him instead of letting him touch her face) say something different than what she intends them to say?

they mean a totally different thing to jacob than they do to bella, and she doesn't know how else to comfort him sometimes.

5.what are the advantages and disadvantages of the wolves being able to see each others thoughts, even the most personal ones?

i think that it help's them realize what the other wolf is feeling, but you wouldn't be able to keep anything to yourself.

1. How do you think about imprinting?

I felt bad for Leah, but thought it interesting how in each culture you find your eternal soul mate whether you are a werewolf and have imprinting or with a vampire, it's both eternal and your soul mate, pretty cool.

2. Does Sam's story make you feel differently about the wolves? Do you feel more compasionate towards them? Why or why not?

I actually got a much better understanding and felt for Sam. To be all alone when it happened to him and no one around him must have been horrible. I realized he's not a bad person/wolf. I do have compassion for him now.

3. Do you think Jacob was wrong to show Edward the images of Bella while he was away from her?

No actually I was glad. Edward needed to know what he put Bella through, even if he left for her own good, he really had no idea what she really went through. This should have given Edward more understanding of her wanting to see Jacob some, that she suffered so much she had to turn to someone and at least she had a best friend in Jacob. It also showed Edward that there was no heart there without him or lungs, she was completely empty, the pain so bad she had to hold her ribs all the time. Now he knows he can never leave her. I'm glad he got a glimpse even though he knew, this sealed it.

4. Do Bella's actions towards Jacob (promising to come back when Edward is away, holding hands with him instead of letting him touch her face) say something different than what she intends them to say?

This part of Bella I have never understood. Sometimes I think she is really torn. I know she only loves Edward, but
when you have a best friend that is a guy you don't hold hands or lead them on. She's done nothing but lead Jacob on as far as I'm concerned. Words say she can't be more then friends she loves Edward, but then she runs to Jacob with a passion that she has to see him, touch his warmth. That's not fair to Edward or Jacob. Be Jacob's friends, but no hand holding and saying things Jacob takes as hope down the line. Totally mixed signals

5. What are the advantages and disadvantages of the wolves being able to see each others thoughts, even the most personal ones?

It helps in the hunt, but every day conversations it's too invasive.

Thanks to Be My Escape for the following questions!

1. How do you feel about imprinting?
i think it's weird but actally makes sense to the world of animals. there's a lot about it that creeps me out especially the imprinting on two year olds thing

2. Does Sam's story make you feel differently about the wolves? Do you feel more compasionate towards them? Why or why not?
it makes me understand them better and yes i did feel more compassionate towards them. i think i felt this way because i can begin to understand everything and you get insight.

3. Do you think Jacob was wrong to show Edward the images of Bella while he was away from her?
he's so immature about the whole thing and i was mad that he did that to edward but also glad. he needed to see what bella was like without him and that she needs him in her life but i didn't think it was necessary, so yes i was mad

4. Do Bella's actions towards Jacob (promising to come back when Edward is away, holding hands with him instead of letting him touch her face) say something different than what she intends them to say?
yes, 100 times yes. they led jacob on and he enjoyed them too much even though he understood they were just friends those are boundaries that shouldn't have been crossed.

5. What are the advantages and disadvantages of the wolves being able to see each others thoughts, even the most personal ones?
they at least know what your really thinking but that could also lead to fights which is bad. they know when to comfort you but then you can't keep secrets. the list goes on and i'm actually too lazy to type more
"It's the safest time of day for us," he said, answering the unspoken question in my eyes. "The easiest time. But also the saddest, in a way...the end of another day, the return of the night. Darkness is so predictable, don't you think?" He smiled wistfully. " I like the night. Without the dark, we'd never see the stars."

1. How do you feel about imprinting?
In a weird way, I think it's incredibly romantic. Look at Sam and Emily, nothing could keep them apart. It's like an intense version of soul mates, of fate, and I think that's what makes it so powerful. These two people, once they found each other, couldn't fathom the idea of not being with each other and in love for the rest of their lives. I love the idea of that.
Plus, if it means Jake can imprint on me to guarantee we're made for each other, I'm all-freaking-over it!

2. Does Sam's story make you feel differently about the wolves? Do you feel more compasionate towards them? Why or why not?
It made me feel more compassionate for Sam specifically, I will say that. It proves that his reservations about Jake being around Bella so much more understandable, because he knows first-hand the dangers that are really there and knows that no matter what, no matter how much you love someone and want to keep them safe, there are times in life when that cannot be guaranteed.

3. Do you think Jacob was wrong to show Edward the images of Bella while he was away from her?
No. I'm with Jake. He needed to see what he'd done.

4. Do Bella's actions towards Jacob (promising to come back when Edward is away, holding hands with him instead of letting him touch her face) say something different than what she intends them to say?
I definitely think it was unfair to Jacob. It just pushed these ideas into his head that the feelings he had for her and the way he was interacting with her was okay, which it wasn't - she was with Edward, nothing was going to change that. I don't want to say that she was leading him on, because I know those weren't her intentions, but part of me thinks that she definitely inadvertantly was doing that to him.

5. What are the advantages and disadvantages of the wolves being able to see each others thoughts, even the most personal ones?
I think it forced them to become more of a family than before, it brings them together in ways that no one else is bound.
Of course, it would drive me nuts having people in my head all day, so I can definitely sympathize with them all.

1. How do you feel about imprinting?

I don't have an issue with it. I like that it exists in the story. I think it's romantic, and I'm not sure why some people think it's unfair, like the other person in the relationship doesn't have a say in the matter - that's your soulmate, it's who you were meant to end up with in the end, and they're perfectly happy with it. I love when Bella is watching Jared and Kim, and describes the way he looks at her. She seemed shocked by the intensity, and I love that Edward and Bella's love is compared in the book to the power of imprinting.

2. Does Sam's story make you feel differently about the wolves? Do you feel more compasionate towards them? Why or why not?

I feel more compassionate towards them. It was nice to hear Sam's story (not saying that the story was nice at all.) But Jake knows first hand what it was like for Sam. So, he knows that Sam only wanted Jake to stay away from Bella for her safety. I think that's very sweet of Sam, and he's a great guy. My anger for him faded immediately in New Moon when I found out the truth about why he was the leader of Jake's "gang" and why he wouldn't let Jake anywhere near Bella.

3. Do you think Jacob was wrong to show Edward the images of Bella while he was away from her?

Nope. Well, the thing is, I don't know how much Edward knows about the pain he caused Bella. I'm sure he knows a lot, because he can read everybody's mind around her, but it's different for Jake because he was actually there, seeing Bella for the first time when she was all broken through Sam's eyes, and when she first showed up at his house, and he watched her slowly get better too, but not fully back to normal. I think Edward should've seen that through Jake's eyes, and I'm glad that he did. I don't like the fact that Bella seems to blame herself for Edward leaving, and tells him this all the time.

4. Do Bella's actions towards Jacob (promising to come back when Edward is away, holding hands with him instead of letting him touch her face) say something different than what she intends them to say?

Maybe it does to him (but it can't all that much, I mean, they're best friends...shouldn't best friends have a right to visit each other?) but I don't think we should be upset with Bella, because this is not what Bella intended to do.

5. What are the advantages and disadvantages of the wolves being able to see each others thoughts, even the most personal ones?

Well, the advantages could be how Jake was able to feel Sam's pain through his mind, and he knows what could happen if he got too close to Bella and became angry; after knowing that, he still wants to be close to Bella and he thinks he can do it. He's sure he would never hurt her, and I love that.

Of course, there are plenty more disadvantages. Just with Jake's pack, of course. I think it's awful that Sam has to look through Leah's mind, and feel her pain everyday. He just has all this guilt inside him all the time. I think it's snooty of Leah to think all these things just to bug the other wolves. And to the people who have imprinted - I'm sure they would want a little privacy. The others shouldn't have to know everything going on between them.

1. How do you feel about imprinting?

its such a weird, abnormal type of attraction. i actually didnt really have a problem with it, but i am curious as to how it would work if someone didnt want you back... it would kind of freak me out. i mean from a girls perspective, if you find out that some boy is bound to you, i would feel more obligated and excited at first, if the boy was some random guy. but if he was a cutie, well there is my shallow side. hahaha but they would be the person you could always talk to and they would be there for you.
2. Does Sam's story make you feel differently about the wolves? Do you feel more compasionate towards them? Why or why not?

i have a love hate relationship with sam. at times i am like, ya, you go!! but also, the wolves are not open minded towards the "good vampires." the Cullens really didnt know they would change these boys into werewolves, and that may have made carlise decision to move there different if he knew. Sam is such a hot/cold character for me so its hard to sympathize with him. the wolves do have it hard, but the vamps didnt really have a say in their lives either. when you are dealt a certain hand in life, you choose to make of it with what you have. the cullens are doing the opposite of what is expected, and the wolves cant see that. So i dont feel compassionate towards them if they cant feel any compassion to the Cullens. i love the wolves too, but...

3. Do you think Jacob was wrong to show Edward the images of Bella while he was away from her?

Not at all. I think Jacob shouldnt have been a little snot face about it, but i think edward needed to see it. It helps him to see how much he really does mean to bella, and that there are consequences for leaving her. he needed to see it. I was really glad that it happened.

4. Do Bella's actions towards Jacob (promising to come back when Edward is away, holding hands with him instead of letting him touch her face) say something different than what she intends them to say?

UGH! subconsciously, she reaches out to him b/c she does love him, but it always FRUSTRATED me when she held his hand. YOU DO NOT GET PHYSICAL WITH ANOTHER BOY WHEN YOU ARE IN A RELATIONSHIP. PERIOD. i dont care if he is your best friend. its not right, and it wasnt fair to jacob because it just makes things worse and harder for both him and bella. yes, it showed she did have feelings for him, and the touching shows that, but she could have made it easier for herself if she thought about her actions when she was with jacob. she kind of just forgot about her true love when she was with jacob.. its kind of annoying.

5. What are the advantages and disadvantages of the wolves being able to see each others thoughts, even the most personal ones?

I feel SO bad for the wolves. The advantages are that they can strategize and communiate with each other easily since they cant talk as wolves. BUt the disadvantages weigh out the advantages. My mind is where i can be alone. it would be so hard to just let everyone know what you are feeling and thinking. If you were scared of something, everyone would know it and it could be embarassing. I would hate to hear others thoughts, too. the wolves dont want to be in each others minds. it would be no fun to see peoples weaknesses. and i wouldnt want them to see mine. I feel so bad for the wolves in that aspect..
