1. Were you rooting for Bella to make it to LaPush or were you hoping that Alice would stop her? Why?
honestly i didn't like that she did that. i mean, sure edward isnt the boss of her and in normal circumstances it wouldn't matter, but this wasn't normal. she was running off to meet "newborn werewolves" and she was also subconsciously in love with jacob. so i was hoping alice would catch her. kind of selfish of me...i know

2. Do you think it was right for Bella to dart off to LaPush to see Jacob? Could she do more harm than good?
i don't think it was right, but of course my views are biased because i'm team edward. i think it was wrong of her to go off to la push like that. i felt bad for edward. but i guess it is a free country and edward can't tell her what to do, but still, she could've done it a better way.

3. Who do you think would win in a real, full out fight between the werewolves and vampires? Why?
vampires. vampires are fast and they have special skills. like edward and alice i would think would be near impossible to beat. they have also lived a lot longer so they've had time to devepe their skills.

4. Do you think Jacob was right in assuming that everything would be fine had Edward not come back into Bella's life? Why?
i don't think he was right. throughout the book you can tell he doesn't understand what bella and edward have. he won't accept that their love is so deep because he doesn't like vampires. he thinks they're monsters and therefore thinks of them as animals that can't love. he doesn't realize how much edward leaving really affected bella. sure, he helped her, but she still felt empty. everything wouldn't have been fine. i think she would've always still missed edward terribly.

5. Do you consider Jacob "human" in the sense that he means he is human? Or does his phasing negate his humanity?
i think he's human. i think vampires are human too. they both have feelings and can think for themselves. i consider werewolves and vampires to be human

1. Were you rooting for Bella to make it to LaPush or were you hoping that Alice would stop her? Why? I was rooting for Bella all the way. I think it wouldn't be Bella if she weren't trying to escape someone, somewhere.
2. Do you think it was right for Bella to dart off to LaPush to see Jacob? Could she do more harm than good? Yeah I really do. When someone means something to you as much as Jake did to Bella it is really hard to let go of that. I thinks she needs some closure, now that Edward is back, but she is unsure of where to get it. I think in the long run it did more good.
3. Who do you think would win in a real, full out fight between the werewolves and vampires? Why? I am totally with the vampires on this one. I think that with their abilities they would take down the werewolves in minutes. They have had centuries to prefect their abilities.
4. Do you think Jacob was right in assuming that everything would be fine had Edward not come back into Bella's life? Why?
Ummmm....NO! When your heart is already taken you can't give entirely to someone else. Bella would never have acheived the same level of happiness with Jake that he thinks she would have. Edward is her whole heart. Wishful thinking!
5. Do you consider Jacob "human" in the sense that he means he is human? Or does his phasing negate his humanity?I am afaird I think of him as way to human. He represents the realness and the warmth of life for me. He is tangible and good, warm and kind, and loving to an extreme. To me all the things that are very human in all of us. I think the phasing thing is kind of a perk(that he can help protect his people).

1. Were you rooting for Bella to make it to LaPush or were you hoping that Alice would stop her? Why?

I didn't like the way she kept trying to run off. I was hoping she was going to be stopped. I'm guilty for thinking this.

2. Do you think it was right for Bella to dart off to LaPush to see Jacob? Could she do more harm than good?

Yes and No. Yes because he is her friend , and you should be alllowed to see your friends.
No because Jacob really did nearly loose his temper and if i knew this person was in love with me and wanted more than friendship , i would call things off with them. In my opinion she did more harm than good. ( still love her though)

3. Who do you think would win in a real, full out fight between the werewolves and vampires? Why?

one on one? Vampires. Wasnt it proved in the story? If there was more then one werewolf then yeh its going to be different.

4. Do you think Jacob was right in assuming that everything would be fine had Edward not come back into Bella's life? Why?

Yes. I believe it Edward hadnt come back Bella would have settled for Jake.

5. Do you consider Jacob "human" in the sense that he means he is human? Or does his phasing negate his humanity?

Losing his temper the way he nearly does, his heat and the way he can throw things around , equals non human in my book. Being a werewolf isnt human.

1. Were you rooting for Bella to make it to LaPush or were you hoping that Alice would stop her? Why?

I was hoping that Bella made it. She needed to see Jake for a variety of reasons, and it wasn't really Edward's place to forbid her from going.

2. Do you think it was right for Bella to dart off to LaPush to see Jacob? Could she do more harm than good?

No, it wasn't right of her to dart off. It was one of the many things she doesn't handle as well as she should in this book. She should have talked to Edward... Then again, being out of his mind with worry probably helped Edward realize that Bella was serious...

3. Who do you think would win in a real, full out fight between the werewolves and vampires? Why?

It really does depend on whether we're talking pack againt coven, or one on one. I couldn't really say, because depending on who each of them were matched with, it could go either way.

4. Do you think Jacob was right in assuming that everything would be fine had Edward not come back into Bella's life? Why?

Of course not. It may have been 'fine', but never more than that. Sure, the pain would lessen with time, but it would never go away completely.

5. Do you consider Jacob "human" in the sense that he means he is human? Or does his phasing negate his humanity?

While he is more human than the Cullens, he's not human in the way he says he is. It's like he's human with all the benefits of an immortal, and the drawbacks of a mythical creature. So no, not really human at all.

1. Were you rooting for Bella to make it to LaPush or were you hoping that Alice would stop her? Why?

>> Of course not. But I certainly understand her why she do it. She feels that she's like taken as a hostage-- no freedom at all; and she knows that she should be free, that's why she did it. After all, what she thinks what's right might not be the same opinion of Edward or the others. Alice could have stop her, but it doesn't mean that she'll not do it again.

2. Do you think it was right for Bella to dart off to LaPush to see Jacob? Could she do more harm than good?

>> I couldn't say that it's right or wrong. But it's certainly is ok for me. Jacob is Bella's friend as well (or also in love with him.. she just don't know it yet). There are things that Edward and the other Cullens that they don't know about Jacob and the other werewolves that only Bella knows. Although she's still young, I'm sure she knows what she's doing.

3. Who do you think would win in a real, full out fight between the werewolves and vampires? Why?
>>That really depends on so many factors. It depends on the number of "members" for each team... or the determination or drive why they're fighting or something, whether who has the more advantage.

4. Do you think Jacob was right in assuming that everything would be fine had Edward not come back into Bella's life? Why?
>>No. If only he knew the very reason why Bella's doing such things, like wanting to ride a bike or wanting to jump off the cliff-- that's because of she wants to hear the voice of Edward. But I'm glad that although for a short while, Jacob is the reason why she's smiling.

5. Do you consider Jacob "human" in the sense that he means he is human? Or does his phasing negate his humanity?
>>His phasing negates his humanity. But then, he's still a human because they could return to their natural form. They could choose to leave their "werewolf" selves, unlike the vampires, they could no longer change their state.

thoughts on the chapter

1. Were you rooting for Bella to make it to LaPush or were you hoping that Alice would stop her? Why?

I was definitely rooting for Bella to make it. Although I understand why Alice and Edward felt so strongly about keeping her away from the werewolves, I truly believe that Bella needed to be with Jacob again. He had held her together when Edward was gone and I don't think I would've liked Bella as much if she ditched Jacob after getting Edward back.

2. Do you think it was right for Bella to dart off to LaPush to see Jacob? Could she do more harm than good?

I'm glad she went to see him because it showed that Jacob was not just an "Edward replacement" for Bella, but then I don't know if it was the wisest thing to do since he obviously cared for her more than she did for him. Tough situation.

3. Who do you think would win in a real, full out fight between the werewolves and vampires? Why?

I don't think either side would "win". Too closely matched. I'm sure there would be serious losses to both sides.

4. Do you think Jacob was right in assuming that everything would be fine had Edward not come back into Bella's life? Why?

No, I don't tink Jacob was right in that assumption. Bella might've found some measure of happiness with Jacob, but I think the connection to Edward would've never faded and would have haunted her for the rest of her life.

5. Do you consider Jacob "human" in the sense that he means he is human? Or does his phasing negate his humanity?

I don't consider him "human" anymore than Edward is human. He's too extraordinary to truly be human, but I don't really believe that his "humanity" is lost. Even Edward (who's been around a lot longer) still has traces of his humanity left...[/i]

1. Were you rooting for Bella to make it to LaPush or were you hoping that Alice would stop her? Why?

I was secretly hoping that Alice would stop her so Edward wouldn't worry but I also knew Bella has to do it or she'll pretty much explode from not seeing him.

2. Do you think it was right for Bella to dart off to LaPush to see Jacob? Could she do more harm than good?

Like I said before I have mixed feelings on the whole thing she needed to do it for her own sanity but it gave Jacob the wrong idea and made Edward just about have a heart-attack

3. Who do you think would win in a real, full out fight between the werewolves and vampires? Why?

I don't think either side would win the werewolves would be dessimated but the vampires would sustain many losses themselves.

4. Do you think Jacob was right in assuming that everything would be fine had Edward not come back into Bella's life? Why?

No, Jacob never and still doesn't understand how much Edward means to Bella and Bella also wasn't just mourning for Edward she was also mourning for what Edward represented.

5. Do you consider Jacob "human" in the sense that he means he is human? Or does his phasing negate his humanity?

He is still human but he now knows and knowledge affects how you see the world. Plus he has super cool almost superpowers and since they changed how he acts that simply proves how very much human he is.
"Nobody know's you're with me?"
"That depends...I assume you told Alice?"
"That's very helpful, Bella," he snapped.
I pretended I didn't hear that.

1. Were you rooting for Bella to make it to LaPush or were you hoping that Alice would stop her? Why?
I wanted both. I wanted her to make it to La Push to work things out with Jake, but I also wanted Alice to keep her safe and Edward happy.

2. Do you think it was right for Bella to dart off to LaPush to see Jacob? Could she do more harm than good?
I think she needed to do it at least once. There was so much left unresolved. The two of them really needed to talk out what was going on. Whether it would do harm or good, it had to be done.

3. Who do you think would win in a real, full out fight between the werewolves and vampires? Why?
I really think it depends on what they are fighting for. Put Edward against a wolf fighting for Bella and I think he would win hands down. I also think it would depend on the numbers. If they are evenly matched it would be an awesome battle. If the vampire's venom causes the werewolves pain like it does regular animals and humans, then I think that could give them an advantage.

4. Do you think Jacob was right in assuming that everything would be fine had Edward not come back into Bella's life? Why?
I don't think so. Bella would never have been whole. Yeah, she might have been able to move on with Jacob, but I think a part of her would have died the minute she decided to fully move on with him.

5. Do you consider Jacob "human" in the sense that he means he is human? Or does his phasing negate his humanity?
I think he is still human. He just now has a few animal instincts to go along with it.

1. Were you rooting for Bella to make it to LaPush or were you hoping that Alice would stop her? Why?
i was hoping alice would stop her. i dont really know how to explain WHY just that i know that no good could come from bella seeing jacob. but i am also biased.(look at my screen name)

2. Do you think it was right for Bella to dart off to LaPush to see Jacob? Could she do more harm than good?
i don't think she should have. i mean i wanted her to fix things with jacob because hes obviously been hurting. But bella is also the biggest tease in that she says she just wants to be friends but she also loves him. by going to see him that way she hurts not only jacob more, but herself aswel. she didn't have much of a choice anyways since edward was being unreasonable at this point.

3. Who do you think would win in a real, full out fight between the werewolves and vampires? Why?
Its sort of a split.
werewolves: Not only are they already built to fight vampires they have been introduced to the cullen fighting-style as-well.
Vampires: speed, agility, wont get tired, venom. need i say more?

If we are talking about edward vs Jacob then Edward would totally win. hopfullly i will never have to read about it >_<

4. Do you think Jacob was right in assuming that everything would be fine had Edward not come back into Bella's life? Why?
Only to a certain extent. sure bella probably would have been happy with jake. but the thought and the memory and the pain would have never been forgotten. Jacob doesn't fully understand the magnitude of Bella and Edward's love for each other. He hasn't got a clue really.

5. Do you consider Jacob "human" in the sense that he means he is human? Or does his phasing negate his humanity?
I think he was a hypocrite for saying that. Jacob and Edward have the same humanistic ability to love, to feel, to want and need. Even though Jacob can phase back to a human form he still carries werewolf characteristics. Edward cant phase in and out of being a vampire. However, he is always in a human form but also posses vampire characteristics. Both are placed separate from bella by forces that they cant control.
