Chapter Four: Nature

Post by Alphie »

1. Were you rooting for Bella to make it to LaPush or were you hoping that Alice would stop her? Why?

2. Do you think it was right for Bella to dart off to LaPush to see Jacob? Could she do more harm than good?

3. Who do you think would win in a real, full out fight between the werewolves and vampires? Why?

4. Do you think Jacob was right in assuming that everything would be fine had Edward not come back into Bella's life? Why?

5. Do you consider Jacob "human" in the sense that he means he is human? Or does his phasing negate his humanity?

1. Were you rooting for Bella to make it to LaPush or were you hoping that Alice would stop her? Why?

Well, I'm not really sure. I love Bella when she is happy, but I would rather read a scene with her and Edward in it then one with Jacob, but since Edward was away, then I guess, in order to let the 'time-fly' between pages I didn't mined the fact that she went to viste Jacob.

2. Do you think it was right for Bella to dart off to LaPush to see Jacob? Could she do more harm than good?

I think that it was fine, I have trust in Jacob that he won't hurt Bella physically, but emotionally is another story.

3. Who do you think would win in a real, full out fight between the werewolves and vampires? Why?

Well it really depends on the werewolfs and th vampires. In some battles the werewolfs womp, and in others the vampires stand victories. It just depends.

4. Do you think Jacob was right in assuming that everything would be fine had Edward not come back into Bella's life? Why?

No! Bella was a wreck without Edward, and even after weeks of 'The Jacob Treatment' she was still upset about Edward. Bella was damaged when Edward left, its like having the whole wold riped away from you in a matter of seconds.

5. Do you consider Jacob "human" in the sense that he means he is human? Or does his phasing negate his humanity?

Jacob is as much human as the big foot and the lochness monster. He will always be a werewolf even if he doesn't want to, and stops phasing into one. For Jacob, being a werewolf is like a tatoo that never fades.

1. Were you rooting for Bella to make it to LaPush or were you hoping that Alice would stop her? Why?

I was hoping that Bella wuld make it, so she could maybe work things out and feel better about the whole situation.

2. Do you think it was right for Bella to dart off to LaPush to see Jacob? Could she do more harm than good?

I think, actually, that she wasnt thinking clearly and just wanted to help her friend.

3. Who do you think would win in a real, full out fight between the werewolves and vampires? Why?

Definetly Vampires- because they had super speed and with their special gifts, they have an upper edge. They also dont take damage very easily. Weres have teeth and super healing powers, but vamps would win :D

4. Do you think Jacob was right in assuming that everything would be fine had Edward not come back into Bella's life? Why?

No, i think he was deluding himself into thinking that she would ever forget Edward. Also he ws probably trying to make himself feel better b/c she loves him but only second to Edward.

5. Do you consider Jacob "human" in the sense that he means he is human? Or does his phasing negate his humanity?

He's human in the sense that he's still alive and can age, but if we're going to pick at the details, then couldnt the vamps be considered human as well? On the other hand, they all started out human, so if im really going to try and label them, id think that both the weres and the vamps could be considered 'super humans.' I dont think either can claim humanity as fairly as Bella could.

2. Do you think it was right for Bella to dart off to LaPush to see Jacob? Could she do more harm than good?
I think it wasn't good, poor Alice is trying to keep her safe, but Bella runs away

3. Who do you think would win in a real, full out fight between the werewolves and vampires? Why?
Vampires :} they're faster

4. Do you think Jacob was right in assuming that everything would be fine had Edward not come back into Bella's life? Why?
oh no he was way wrong, Edward and Bella belong together

5. Do you consider Jacob "human" in the sense that he means he is human? Or does his phasing negate his humanity?
hm well I think he's still human, because he's not a wolf 24/7 =]

1. Were you rooting for Bella to make it to LaPush or were you hoping that Alice would stop her? Why?
-I actually wanted Alice to stop her, I thought it would make it interesting. And I knew that nothing good could come from it.

2. Do you think it was right for Bella to dart off to LaPush to see Jacob? Could she do more harm than good?
-Like I said, nothing good could come from it. Don't get me wrong Jacob is a good guy but that was juts going to make her confused.

3. Who do you think would win in a real, full out fight between the werewolves and vampires? Why?
-Edward!!! He is much more experienced than Jacob, and he can keep his cool. NO MATTER HOW BIG HE IS, ERIC!

4. Do you think Jacob was right in assuming that everything would be fine had Edward not come back into Bella's life? Why?
-Yes, because in a way it would be. She was getting off just fine before Alice came. Yes she felt like something was missing, but Bella was truly happier than after Edward left.

5. Do you consider Jacob "human" in the sense that he means he is human? Or does his phasing negate his humanity?
-That's like saying that Edward can't go to heaven. What really defines humanity. Yes Edward is in a sense dead, and Jacob is in a sense an animal, so how can anyone define it. Edward said that he was still a man, even though his vampire self is more prominent, but it's still there.

1. Were you rooting for Bella to make it to LaPush or were you hoping that Alice would stop her? Why?

I was really rooting for her to make it to LaPush. I really wanted her to go see Jake, and for her to sort out the whole situation. Plus I loved Jake's reaction when he sees her, it's so funny ho they started jumping around!

2. Do you think it was right for Bella to dart off to LaPush to see Jacob? Could she do more harm than good?

It was right in the way that she wanted to sort everything out, and obviously she wanted to see her friend, someone who had been there for her through tough times, although Bella being Bella, anything can be harmful to her, and she knew how much Edward worries about her safety.

3. Who do you think would win in a real, full out fight between the werewolves and vampires? Why?

Vampires since they are much faster, and stronger that werewolves. Plus not to mention that they're literally unbreakable unlike werewolves, and some like Edward and Alice have special powers. Just remember what happened to Jake bones after that vampire attempted to crush him.

4. Do you think Jacob was right in assuming that everything would be fine had Edward not come back into Bella's life? Why?

Absolutely not. Bella and Edward are clearly made for each other, and either of them without the other will turn them into total wrecks. Plus even after Bella had gotten better while hanging with Jacob, that does not mean that she had healed or much less had stopped loving Edward, she was still hurting around the same but she simply learned to distract herself and focused more on Jake.

5. Do you consider Jacob "human" in the sense that he means he is human? Or does his phasing negate his humanity?

Jacob IS still human, just a very...enhanced human you could say, once that can transform into a wolf, but however most of the time he's human. He does require all human necessities unlike vampires. He eats, he sleeps, I'm sure he uses the bathroom and he gets tired, and can probably get sick as well. Not to mention that eventually he will stop aging, and he's not unbreakable or immortal.

1. Were you rooting for Bella to make it to LaPush or were you hoping that Alice would stop her? Why?

I wanted her to go to LaPush. I love Jacob and Bella did not want to be stuck being held hostage.

2. Do you think it was right for Bella to dart off to LaPush to see Jacob? Could she do more harm than good?

It wasnt wrong. But it did do more harm than good. It hurt everyone.. Edward, Bella, Jacob, even Alice.

3. Who do you think would win in a real, full out fight between the werewolves and vampires? Why?

Depends who the vamp and werewolf are and why they are fighthing. Between Edward and Jacob.. ehh. I really dont know.

4. Do you think Jacob was right in assuming that everything would be fine had Edward not come back into Bella's life? Why?

No. I think Bella would have gotten better, but she never would have been good. Sure, they would of been "happy" together forever, as long as Jacob never met any new girls and Edward never came back. But Bella would of never been good and whole. And Jacob would be missing out on his match.

5. Do you consider Jacob "human" in the sense that he means he is human? Or does his phasing negate his humanity?

I think he is more human than the vampires.. physically. Mentally he is more human than Bella. But all of them are human in the sense of emotions and feelings and life.
Bella may not be able to..
But I can love both Edward and Jacob

1. Were you rooting for Bella to make it to LaPush or were you hoping that Alice would stop her? Why?

I was hoping she would go down, cause a little drama always makes the book more interesting, and jacob isnt a bad person, he's just not the best :P

2. Do you think it was right for Bella to dart off to LaPush to see Jacob? Could she do more harm than good?

I really didnt see a problem with it, cause jacob has good control over his other half.

3. Who do you think would win in a real, full out fight between the werewolves and vampires? Why?

vampires, if they know what they're doing

4. Do you think Jacob was right in assuming that everything would be fine had Edward not come back into Bella's life? Why?

NO!!! bella was such a mess without edward, and edward was a mess without bella too, he would have come back eventually, or she would have really tried to kill herself

5. Do you consider Jacob "human" in the sense that he means he is human? Or does his phasing negate his humanity?

He's part human, i mean, hes not a full human like bella, but he is still living and breathing, and has a beating heart, so i guess he is human, to a certain extent

1. Were you rooting for Bella to make it to LaPush or were you hoping that Alice would stop her? Why?

I was rooting for bella to makie it!! i am in team edward but jacob is her friend and he was hurting but it would have been interesting if alice had tried to stop her

2. Do you think it was right for Bella to dart off to LaPush to see Jacob? Could she do more harm than good?

I think she was right to go for the sake of her friendship however she did end up doing more harm than good - she fell in love deeper with jacob, and jacob in love with her. Also, edward was right, sneaking off like that would eventually cause a rift between edward and bella

3. Who do you think would win in a real, full out fight between the werewolves and vampires? Why?

well as jacob said werewolves are made for killing vampires and the cullens are out numbered but the cullens are smarter and can keep their cool - jacob and the pack (except sam) are too impetuous and short tempered

4. Do you think Jacob was right in assuming that everything would be fine had Edward not come back into Bella's life? Why?

No i think he was wrong. Edward and Bella have to deep a connection. I think bella would have given into jacob eventually and tehy would have ended up together but bella would always be "damaged goods" - edward and bella are meant to be together their connection is too strong

5. Do you consider Jacob "human" in the sense that he means he is human? Or does his phasing negate his humanity?

I guess it depends on how you define humanity. edward is dead but immortal and jacob is half animal but i consider them both to be at least part human - they are both human mentally and have he appearance of a human they just have extra powers and abilities!

1. Were you rooting for Bella to make it to LaPush or were you hoping that Alice would stop her? Why?
I kind of wished Alice stopped her and then Bella and Jacob's relationship may not have developed as strongly as it did.

2. Do you think it was right for Bella to dart off to LaPush to see Jacob? Could she do more harm than good?
Not really, she should have put more thought into her decisions and realized what the potential consequences would be if she deepened her relationship with Jacob, she thought she was helping her brotherly best friend and not her other love.

3. Who do you think would win in a real, full out fight between the werewolves and vampires? Why?
This is difficult since there are so many factors that could be applied to this situation. If it were even on both sides and the vampires have lots of exprience, have strong talents(like Edward's mind reading) and been around for a few hundred years then the vampires would win because they have the knowledge and the skills. But if the werewolves outnumbered the vampires and were going against newborns well it would be an easy fight for the werewolves. So it all deepends.

4. Do you think Jacob was right in assuming that everything would be fine had Edward not come back into Bella's life? Why?
Bella's heart would always have been broken and she probably wouldn't want to be with anyone else again because she wouldn't think she would be good enough. She'd be kind of like "damaged goods" for lack of a better term.

5. Do you consider Jacob "human" in the sense that he means he is human? Or does his phasing negate his humanity?
I don't really consider him human since he is a mythical creature. When he's in his wolf form, Edward is more human then him so that takes a huge part away from his humanity. Even when he's in his human form there are things that are inhuman about him like his heat and strength which you don't see in a normal human.
