I was so excited when I found out that Stephenie wrote in the Ensign!!! It was such a beautiful and touching story! THANK YOU STEPHENIE :!:
"About 3 things I was absolutely certain:
First, Edward was a vampire,
Second, the was a part of him-and I didn't know how potent that part might be- that thirsted for my blood,
And third, I was unconditionally, and irrevocably in love with him."
"'Fall down again bella?'
'No Emmet, I just punched a werewolf in the face!'"

Ensign-Hero at the Grocery Store

Post by Bella+Edward=NOTJacob » Thu Jul 10, 2008 3:25 pm

The article was a true story about her taking her kids to the store around Christmas time, and when she was at the check-out counter, she saw that in the next line, there was an old lady who was trying to buy some bread and a few other groceries, but when she tried to use her credit card, the cashier said that she didn't have any more money on her credit card, so she didn't have any money to support her and her family, so an old man behind her said, Merry Christmas, and he payed for the groceries. When her children saw this, they were very impressed at the kindness of the stranger, and Stephenie realized that she, also, needed to set examples like that fro her children, and that she couldn't just let her children learn from strangers about kindness, and that she had to set examples like that as well.
It is a very touching story, and is a great example of giving service and setting an example for others.
