Stephenie Meyer/ December Ensign!

Post by Cocoa »

Hey Stephenie wrote a story in the Dec. Ensign. Its called "Hero at the Grocery Store".

Imagine my jaw drop when I saw her name...in the Ensign...SO COOL!

Just as a point of clarity, The ensign is a magazine put out by the Later Day Saints.

Thanks for the clarification, Pel! I had never heard of it before, but if Stephenie wrote it, I would love to read it!! If it's not too long and wont take up too much space here, then can someone post it? that would be really awesome!

and Cocoa- I can only imagine how exited you must have been! haha... I guess it's not every day you get to read a story by stephenie in a magazine

Well from what I can tell visiting their site, they put up a PDF of teh magazine a month after it comes out. So when the January issue is posted we should have access to the December.

Ahhh! I did not know she was writing for the Ensign!!! I need to renew my subscription!!! Or steal the copy from my library at church... Dang I am so excited now!
Sick of crying...
Tired of trying...
Yeah I'm smiling...
But inside I'm dying

Yeah, so I'd give you my myspace, but it's set on private, so that really wouldn't do you any good, would it? If you want to check it out, it's www.myspace.com/stephanielpierce. You'll have to send me a friend request and a message telling me you're from the Lexicon, otherwise I'll think you're just one of the other crazy people who sends me random friend requests and I will reject it. ;)

I work with someone who just converted so I will see if he or his fiancee has a copy of the magazine. If so, I will try and get a copy and post it on MY SPACE account which is open to anyone! I'll let you know!

Thanks!

hit Ctrl-F, then type in "Stephenie Meyer" (make sure you spell it right!)

You'll have to scroll over to read the end of some of the lines, but at least you can read it! If we had our scanner hooked up, I'd scan it for you, even though that would most likely be breaking some kind of copyright law. And I really don't think you'll have to wait until January. They'll probably have the PDF version up in a couple of days... I would think anyway. It's supposed to be available for people who don't have the magazine to use... :)

Have fun reading!!
