I wonder if there will be a second book to this short stories novel; almost all the stories seemed unfinished!

  • <33 This book. I bought it at borders. :D

I liked SM's one and the Corsage. I'd be so freaked out by it if I hadn't read the story before somewhere else. (I mean, the Monkey's Paw. It was in a manga. xD)

I read this a while back, and the only one I truly enjoyed was the one by Stephenie Meyer. While the others were good (Although the corsage one was my least favorite) they just felt to short. I think the one my Meg Cabot is my least favorite after the corsage one. It just didn't feel fleshed out enough, and I didn't enjoy her writing style. It just felt off to me for some reason. My favorite after Heaven and Hell was the Dim Reaper. Like several other people have said, I think given the chance it could become a wonderful series. I would definatly like to read more about it :D The kiss and tell one amused me. I would have liked to have a bit more background on Miranda though. It seemed like she had an interesting past.

I went to the bookstore to get this and I couldnt find it. The book I found was from one author but with the same title no less. It was about a girl going thru high school and bkah blah blah how she making abetter life for herself.

Anyways I didnt find the book that was full of short stories by different authors. I dont even remember the name of the store I went to.

If someone has the cover of it I would like to see if if its the same book.

You can find it here: http://www.amazon.com/Prom-Nights-Hell- ... 006125309X

The one you found was probably Prom Dates from Hell. I saw that one too when I ordered my book.

would that manga be xxxHoLic? haha if so, i read it too ^^

i checked the book out from the library since i didn't have much interest in it, and frankly i'm glad i didn't buy it. i liked all of the stories. someone mentioned that their favorite was meg cabot's and followed closely by stephenie meyer - that's exactly what i think. i personally like meg cabot's writing and her story was just the type that i like. it was cute and although i thought stephenie's story left more questions out in the open than the others, i really enjoyed it

i think my next favorite would have to be Madison Avery and the Dim Reaper. i'm kind of caught between the last two. i read that a lot of people thought kiss and tell was the best, but i honestly didn't think that (as Michele Jaffe's writing style and use of vocab wasn't my cup of tea)

i think there is no best story out of all of them cause it really depends on what writing style people prefer to read and the types of stories they like

i agree with ruby diamond, it was just a pleasant read and not monumental and i do have to admit that the two minor characters in kiss and tell that were homosexual threw me off. i understand if the author might have been wanting to include all kinds of girls in the story, but it was like ruby diamond said, unnecessary (i also agree with the whole only kissing three boys thing - i haven't kissed any and i'm in my senior year of high school but then again that's probably because having a boyfriend isn't one of my priorities)

i didn't find the stories utterly horrible or anything, they were just short stories, but i really didn't feel like they were short stories (with the exception of the corsage and maybe kiss and tell). most of the short stories i've read had closure. to me i thought they were the beginning of a book and just cut off before a chapter ended. all of the stories had some sort of closure, but to me they still left lots of questions unanswered

i meant this to be short o_o but i guess i had to rant a little

I have to admit that I thought Sheba was a vampire in the beginning. It caught me with surprise when she turned out to be a demon. And it would really be nice to read the continuing of the story, it's just got started. It was also fun that she used her son's name Gabe, for the hero.

I thought Steph's was by far the best--the rest of them were okay.

I HATED the corsage one. I thought it was kind of pointless. And not that creepy.
