I was thinking about it, and even though it isn't, of course, like someone said above, glamorous, I'm thinking it'd have to be a little fun. I could just imagine myself there with my siblings and friends...unfortunately for those there, we'd cause so much trouble...and even though the whole...world's-been-taken-over-by-peace-loving-body-snatchers-thing would be a downer...it seems like it'd be fun to live in the caves with all these people...doing what you can to contribute equally to the community and all...

I don't know...what do you guys think?
I agree. Cooperation under dire situations always brings people together, and although it's not always fun and games, I would love living there with all the other people. Even though it isn't glamorous, working hard to get what you need would be so satisfactory.

Especially if theres guys like Ian around to keep you company. -wink-

Stephenie has somewhat made caves glamorous.

I've always enjoyed going into a cave and everything inside a cave, but I've never wanted to live in one. Until now. This cave just sounds sooo cool!

Question though.
Wouldn't the caves be a lot cooler? Even in Arizona? Caves in Missouri, after being there for awhile, are freezing cold!

I think they would be warmer since it's volacnic caves. So lava and everything would be like underfloor heating. I think this is the reason anyway, That's why the water was so hot aswell. I could be totally wrong though lol :D

Exactly! Who needs glamorous anyway when you've got rough and manly?

Another question though, for anyone who's interested in answering...I know everyone shares equal work in the caves but each person also seems to have their own specialty. Sharon's a teacher. Doc's a...well a Doctor. Jeb's sort of in charge. Jared is quite practical and good at getting what they need. Then there's the cooking and the laundry and all the rest of that good stuff. If you were in the caves with everyone, what do you think your sort of specialty would be?

I know mine would be teaching like Sharon's...a little bit of everything though...

So yeah...

:-)

I would totally be doing the raids! I'm not the one to stay behind and let all the men do their stuff, I would want to help. I guess it's "hard to contemplate death seriously from a comfortable chair," but I think I'd be brave and daring enough to go out there and support! We need to represent the women.

Plus, Ian goes on raids. So does Jared. :3

And if not that, then... hmm. Working on the fields, I suppose. Raids would come first, though.

I know that I would be working in the kitchen cooking, and I would also be a teacher.

I'd probably either be in the kitchen or the schoolroom. :)
It's true though, Stephenie has yet again made something that I really don't like into something glamourous. Vampires, caves...

I really think that we must find a way to contact Stephenie and have her draw a map of the caves. Any thoughts???

The Kitchen, I think or classroom or the garden. I could see myself in those positions. The raids would be too frightening for me. I also would really like to be Doc's helper assistant person! That would be fun (of course after Wanda comes in and stops them from killing the aliens *cringe*.)

"What?" I muttered, distracted.

I find the cave setup very confusing. I couldn't really understand how it was setup.
