I loved it. I was crying at the a few places in the book. It was really good. It started off a bit slower then Twilight, but once you were into it it was wonderful. I hope she writes another one. I would love to see what happens with the characters.

Love it.

I can't wait for the other books to come out. I'm going to need something after Breaking Dawn anyways.

I really enjoyed reading The Host, I finished it uhh yesterday like at 3 am. The idea of having two different kind of people in one body was seriously amazing and with the square romance thing was even better, i think it was a square. lol

It also made me think how humans act towards one another, and towards others that are out of their group. I thought it was really messed up of the humans to treat Wanda so hostile in the beginning.

But yeah I was fascinated with the medicines the No Pain, clean, etc. Oh and how the souls were inserted, well lets say how they were taken out and put into the cryotanks. Somehow I had an urge to hold one of the souls.

I got teary eyed when I was almost to finishing when I saw like 2 empty pages...lol

I didn't want it to end!

me too...i was crying hard out coz Wanda "died" and left Ian all alone...I seriously thought she died until i saw the rest of the book and i'm like...thats seems like a lot leftover...then i was like...YES!! theres more!!

but anyway...i liked how its a "Science Fiction novel for people who don't like Science Fiction"...i think thats really cool...

I know I've said this on other posts, but I'm going to say it again. I didn't really cry during my first reading of The Host I got teary eyed though.

But during my second, i cried at almost all the sad parts, with Wanda. I cried, when her and Jamie were crying together by their room, when Wanda went to the hospital and saw the 2 souls who were killed, when Jamie almost died, when Wanda was walking towards the hospital to die, and when Doc said how pure and noble she was.

Suprisingly, I didn't cry when Walter died or when Ian was begging Wanda to stay. It was still incredibly beautiful, but I think the first time I read it, I was still in too much shock to do anything else besides keep reading and the second time I read it I already knew Ian would get Wanda in the end. Plus, I've gone back and read that part a hundred times, its so sweet! :D

I loved The Host. It is one of the best books I have ever read. It was beautifully written, and the characters were fantastic. Stephenie Meyer kept it suspenseful, and it was hard to guess what was going to happen next. Every twist and turn there was something new and exciting happening. I was reading it like there was no tomorrow, it was so exquisite.

The host was amazing. It was so intense. And such a beautiful love story. It was so heart wrenching at some parts. *sigh* Loved it!
Okay so we're starting an alternate lexicon to help keep us sane while its shut down. We're prolly going to close it as soon as the lex is back up. And we won't allow spoilers (=
It'd be really awesome if you guys could join and help spread the news! Its still in construction at the moment though!

I started reading it ONLY because Stephenie wrote it...but finished it because it was beyond brilliant.

The Host made me start crying- TWICE- in a public place while reading it.

It also made me nearly attack someone when they walked too close to me during an intense scene.

And let me just put it out there-

I LOVE IAN. IAN I LOVE YOU. I LOVED YOU MORE THAN JARED THE WHOLE TIME!!! :D  :D
Thats pretty much what Ian makes me do.

Amazing book- Stephenie is NOT just a one series wonder- she can do ANYTHIIIING.
