I actually saw that coming. . . her being put in another body because melanie didn't want her to die. I hope there is another book!! The ending makes it seem like there will be!!

i remembered in the first chapter the healer saying any soul on the street could preform the procedure if it was an emergency so throughout the book i was thinkin" take her out and put her in a new body!!" but when she was going to be taken out i actually thought she would die...i started cryin lol i was really surprised when she was put in another body but i was happy :)
and i dont think it will change her and Ians relationship at all, he loves Wanda, not the body, which is so sweet :)

^^ that was me also! the whole time i was like, Hello! People, just put her in another body!!!!!

I absolutely love the host! it is absolutely posituvley phenomenal!!!! I stayed up till 2 in the morning reading it, but then i had to stop because i was confusing them with twilight characters! :)

i am so glad Wanda lived! I was on the verge of tears when she gave up her life.......

did anyone else find it funny that Ian put a knife up to Doc to have him keep Wanda alive? i know it sounds kind of cruel, but i think it's funny. (i woulda been extremely mad if Ian actually killed Doc though. i loved Doc)

I want a sequel right this very second! I want to know what happens with the other humans! You can't just drop it at that!

I think her body mighta been a little fragile for the caves, but necessary. (it's trusting, kind, you-want-to-protect-it, etc)
I can understand it taking time for her to get use to it. It's so much different than Melanie's body. It's not as tall, strong, fast, and such as hers.

Does anyone know how old Jamie is?????

sorry it's a random question but i really want to know

lol i agree, I keep picturing him as like 15 of 16...but at some times in the book he seemed somewhat childish for that age, like the way he clung to Wander and stuff, so i dunno , i will find out lol

I thought him older, because they mentioned him being bigger and not really being able to fit into wanda's lap and i dunno, he just seemed bout 16 to me. i don't care, i still love him!

And how do you feel about Wanda in a new body? How does it change the way you think Ian and Wanda will work as a couple?
I really didn't see the ending coming. I figured Wanda would get her way and that she would be killed and Mel would get her body back. I would have accepted that, except for the fact that it would have killed Ian
I'm glad, that she does have a body and mind all to herself now though. And I really don't think it will change her and Ian's relationship much, except for the fact that she's so much weaker and he'll have to help her out a lot. lol I'm glad they had that talk at the end of the book about their relationship b/c it definitely cleared up a lot of confusion between them.
And so the lion fell in love with the lamb.

I mean, I didn't likke that mel got jared. Cause it didn't seem fair. Even though she got her true love in the end, i felt like mel should have suffered more. Cause Wanderer suffered so much more than she did.
I disagree. Melanie did suffer. She was stuck inside her body but unable to control it. Basically she was a prisoner inside her mind and Wanda was her reluctant jailer. Mel had to deal with almost losing Jared a few times throughout the book (first to some near death experiences and to Jared's attitude toward Wanda) This was why Wanda wanted to give Melanie her body back, to stop Melanie's suffering.
