E-mail her if you'd like.

But I do not recommend that you do so.
This book will take your breath away and test your heart even more than Eclipse did. It is most definitely NOT something that you want to spoil for yourself.

The Host is not a quick read. Give it time, find a comfy place to curl up and read this one when it FINALLY comes out next month. I can assure you that you will not be disappointed. Take the time to discover everything for yourself, because it's truly an incredible journey.

Read it the way Stephenie meant for you to. ;)

After the dream of wanderer where she saw Melanie and Jared I wonder if melanie and Jared had more time together and how did they capture Melanie and of course what is Jared doing after they captured her. Maybe Wanderer will learn all about that after several dreams ...

I believe that the doctor will come back somewhere in the end to help out Melanie and the wanderer in finding jared though i honestly think jared will also be captured at some point. I believe it will be exciting from the begining.

The glimpse was good but i dont want to make to many assumptions about whats going to happen. Im just thinking that the wanderer and melanie are eventually going to join forces to find jared, save him if need be, and get help from the doctor(who reminds me sooo much of carlisle). I believe there will also be a resistance against this alien race through jared and the wanderes love despite melanies ever being presence which after a time i think will combined into one with the wanderer.

that or it wont perhapse combined with soul with the memories of melanie but rather, the wanderer and melanie through a mutual love for jared (who if i didnt mension above i think will be found early on so the wanderer can develope relationship time with him) will not fade into one entity but the wall between them crashed down and fogged up so they cant tell the difference anymore.

Honestly, though they are different from what ive read, i think Melanie and the wanderer will end up being extremely alike in the end.

I have no clue what is going to happen, truthfully.

Let's take a ride and wait, shall we?

Hey guys,

Not really the topic of the thread, but couldn't think where else to post - as of today, I already have a copy of The Host (bought from a normal bookstore in Brisbane, Australia). Does anyone know whether this early release has been approved by publishers/etc? Is there anyone I should be letting know that Aussies are getting this a week and a half early?

Not going to post spoilers, anyway, so don't worry :P Just felt like telling someone, lol - bit of a crack up for Aussies to actually get something *ahead* of time for once.

J, I'm from ireland and i know what you mean. Pel posted a comment about it a few days ago on the front of the lexicon, basically the international publishers released it early to all english speaking places like UK, Ireland and Australia.

i knwo such a rarity

The Admins and Mods basically ask thought that we don't spoil it and wait until everyone else gets it on may 6th......

so we all have to hold our tongues till then

I work in a bookstore in Australia and the book wasn't meant to be sold in store till 8/5... Bad PR on the publishers side though, cause some people have been told it was an embargo title but a lot of other places didn't...

At this stage it could become a rather sticky situation between stores and publisher I think. Stock has only been on the shelf today (I think... ) but I guess stores will hear from the publisher Monday if we are in trouble :?

Yeah, I also have the Host, 12 days early!!!!

So Excited!!! I also live in Australia, and had a fit in the middle of my bookstore.

Very good! Just needed to say it, and also, for some reason, I got it for 12 dollars less than the price tag.
Needless to say, the other teens outside, slouching in their Stephanie-Meyerless depression thought I was a total crack-addict spazzo.

Anyone else.
