Non-bookbased scenes

Discussion about the Twilight movie. It's all speculation until Summit Films actually produces a script and casts it.

It seems like they've given Edward a lot of new 'lingo' for the movie. "Hold onto my back spidermonkey?" I liked the google line more than I liked that one. The spidermonkey once creeped me out.

I know :[ "You better hold on tight spider monkey". In the book Edward calls her a little coward.

I like the coward line better. It seems like Edward's a lot more sarcastic in the book than he's going to be in the movie.

*Tear* I like saracastic Edward

I'm pretty sure I'll love both versions of Edward...but books are always better--there's nothing we can do about that...sadly.

The one part though that I don't like (and I believe it's been mentioned) is the "You can google it" line...I don't really feel like this is something that Edward would say..

Discuss! What do you guys think?
I'm super excited for the extra scenes. Gives me something else to look forward to, sort of like mini surprises or bonus. I somewhat agree about the "You can google it" line...it doesn't seem like something Edward would say. But i guess it's their way to "update" the time period of the movie, sort of to show how google has become part of daily speech and it's not just a search engine. I'm taking it as a way for them to say that Edward keeps up with current time *lol* But in a way i also find it a tad bit Edward-ish because it's so witty, the way Rob says it. Sooooooo looking forward to 12/12/08!!! :D
