Anna Kendrick as Jessica

She's how I pictured Jessica to be, but I don't think that for a minor character, the physical appearence isn't as important getting right as well as the acting ability (and hopefully she's good, I haven't heard of any of the actors except for Edward).

Hmm she looks like jessica in a way for me, but i just hope that she has the acting ability but so far in the casting im really exited for who they have casted!

I think she looks very good for the role. Curl her hair and she'll be perfect! Now, don't take this as an offense, cus I do not mean it that way. I can certainly see how it could be taken that way, but that's not my intention. Anna here has the perfect expression for Jessica too - a little snotty, a little piece of arrogance. Perfect Jessica Stanley IMO, and I think she'll be able to play it up just a little more and make it even more noticeable in Jessica's character.

Yes I totally agree i really want to see how she looks with wild curly hair. I had never heard of her before but she seems like a pretty girl, and I'm pretty sure she can have I'm-gossip-girl kind of look

yay! i totally loved her in camp!
her portrayal of fritzi almost guarantees that she's a good jessica.
she practically was jessica in camp!

I was actually very happily surprised with this casting. I've never seen her act but I trust that if she got the role it was deserved. I was afraid they would get someone a little to teeny bopper like, but from appearances she looks like she could pull off the intrusiveness and it rhymes with witch of Jessica very well.

I agree with you all. She's the perfect Jessica, all she needs are some curls and ta-da!

I feel kind of mean saying this, incase she sees these posts, but she does look like she could pull off some snobby-backstabbing stuff. Sorry! I don't mean it in a bad way.

I'm soo excited for all the castings! They're doing an amazing job. Give us more!

She isn't exactly what I pictured for Jessica, mind you, I don't really have a definite "look" in my head, so I think that she will be brilliant as Jess. Plus, a Tony nomination is nothing to scoff at.

The casting so far has gone by amazingly! I'm very happy with the current list, and I'm pretty sure that this feeling will continue when more news trickles out from Summit.

Good job, casting crew!
