DND - Robert Pattinson as Edward

I recently saw Hannibal Rising and OMG... I just can't lie to myself. Gaspard Ulliel is MY perfect Edward.. even if Robert is the chosen one LOL... but I can't complain. Robert is hot. I'll give him a chance. I trust him.

I don't know why everybody is making such a fuss about his eyebrows. Personally I'll be two busy looking at his face and drooling at the screen. But obviously the stubble has to go as Edward is never mentioned having any.

I completely agree. I don't really have a problem with his eyebrows. It doesn't take a lot to 'fix' him, but seriously, Robert is going to be an awesome Edward.

I agree. Just face it: Henry and Hayden are not going to be Edward. I think Robert Pattinson will be great. He has many advantages to be being Edward, like the fact that he is already pale and has the right hair color and the jaw.... My only worry is his accent but that's not really enough to make me go : "WTF? He'll kill Edward with his accent!" No. Not at all. He's an actor and he'll do whatever it takes to make the part "the part". He'll change his accent.... Okay, I sound like I'm reassuring myself more than others. Yeah. Hi! But I think Robert will do an excellent job.

wow. all I've seen on this issue is drama, drama, drama. and really, that's EXTREMELY annoying.

Honestly, I think they did an excellent job of casting for Edward, our favorite self-hating, masochistic, borderline emo vampire ever.

Plus, he played Cedric, and he was ridiculously cute in the HP& The Goblet of Fire.

and whoever mentioned the whole jawline thing or whatever, I hadn't noticed that, but yeah, sure, let's go with that.

Honestly, I'd be a little hesitant to see the movie in the first place if I hadn't read the books. I'm more of an indie film nerd myself, and romantic movies /chickflicks really do nothing for me. I'm more of a Rushmore/Trainspotting/The United States of Leland type of girl, actually.


Plus, Robert Pattison is ridiculously good looking anyway.

At first I was really dumbstruck. I never imagined Robert as Edward, but like many of you, as I started to look at some of his interviews and movie clips I've come to totally see Edward. I've also noticed that unlike other actors who have strong jawlines that make them look too old, Robert has the jawline and looks young enough to play Edward. Plus he's tall!! I've always been fearful that they'd pick someone short.

Ohhh my gosh yeah that'd suck if he was like short... but they wouldn't make him short anyways! Ok off topic as usual but I got my Edward T-shirt yesterday and it's actually pretty cute my sis made it to see it links are below. =) Merry Christmas to those who celebrate and those who don't then... happy holidays ?

Well, I'm highly disappointed. I can honestly say that I'm not sure if I can even watch it.

They should have did something else, Edward is described as perfect, perfection is different for everyone, this can't really be Edward.

But you've just said it. Perfection is in the eyes of the beholder. Just because Roberts not your perfect Edward doesnt mean he is not to someone els. I know. I really didnt like Kristen Stewart at first but Im still going to give her a chace. Just keep your mind open. You might be surprised.

So I was searching around "YouTube" looking at anything with Robert Pattinson in it and I found these behind the scene clips of Robert and the other champions from HP. Some of you have probably already seen them. I just really liked them because they show alittle bit of Roberts personality. WOW...i hated the idea of him as Edward...i was so against it. But the more i researched him and saw interviews, He has such a great personality and looks more vampirish now to me. My only reference of him was from HP and he seemed so goody goody all star boy but seeing recent pictures and such. I really really like him for Edward. He really did grow on me and i really didnt think that was possible. I'm so glad they picked him, he will definately be a great Edward.
