the look of the cullens
Edward needs a nice leather jacket, too! I loved the smell of my boyfriend's leather jacket after he'd worn it...mmm. Seems like Bella appreciated Edward's, too, in Twilight...hmm...in that little Italian restaurant? A must-have scene in the movie, I'd think!

Hey Guys!
First off, I hope that the casting directors get some good actors that aren't too famous but they can still act without it looking cheese-y...
And maybe it would be a good idea to get models for the 'Cullens'? Since models are VERY good looking...usually pretty graceful...but can they act? I don't know... just an idea ...
With all the extra things, like:
-Very pale... almost white
-Golden Eyes
-Sparkling skin in the Sun
-Purple under the eyes
-Extra skills & etc..
I think most of those things can be done in a good way...
If they can get good make-up artists, gold contacts, CGI, and just all that "movie magic"...
...
I just hope if this movie happens, that it can be done in a way that paints 'Twilight' in a good way... Not just another novel-to-movie kind of thing...
It's happened to a lot of good books lately...
Anyways, fingers crossed for the movie!

LOL im guessing most models cant really act, or if they were really good they mightve chosen it as a career.. anyways yeah like you said w/ makeup artists we can deff do the purple under the eyes and the white skin, NOT so sure about sparkly skin however..hahah i wonder how theyll do that, make them roll around in glittery confetti?

i think they should keep all the characteristics that stephenie wrote the super paleness the dark circles the eye color the sparklyness.
as for clothes i always imagined them kind of preppy a little abercrombie and fitch i always saw alice in black rosalie in tight reveling clothing that showed how perfect she was.
i saw emmett in muscle tees and jeans.
jasper in turtlenecks and long coats and overaccessorizing .
edward in button up shirts and sweaters.
im not sure why but i always saw carlisle and esme color coordinated.

I don't want a banner I'd rather have bandwith
Maybe because in Twilight when Edward brought Bella over to the Cullens house to meet his parents, they were both wearing white (or light) clothes...I think? At home, where they all could be entirely themselves....Tort_girl wrote:...im not sure why but i always saw carlisle and esme color coordinated.
I don't have the book with me, but that's how I recall the scene.

Howdy,
okay so neonsx looks for Bella and Alice are great. Really was what I was imagining.
I imagine the Cullen's being in chic, simple clothes. Like polo's, jeans, button downs... remember they want to blend in. It's their apperance in these 'simple' clothes that makes them look uber good.
For Edward I saw him in lighter colors, when ever Bella would describe what Edward was wearing a lot of times it was a turtle neck or long sleve shirt in cream or white colors. Also wasn't his leather jacket tan?
It seems Rose could wear clothes that werent too suggestive but showed off her figure. She could pull of brighter bolder colors like red (as in her prom dress).
I see Emmit in tighter more defined shirts. I can also see him in black and also bright colors like yellow. His personality is such that he could pull off the t-shirts with the sayings on them.
Jasper I see more like Edward. He in long sleve shirts, light colors. But probably more designer flare in them since Alice is his wife.
Now Alice, this chick's clothes should be the most fashionable-simple of them all. I truley do like the suggestions on page 2.
Carlisle and Esme I also see in lighter colors or in light shades of brown. I feel as though Esme likes whites and creams since that is what the main color inside and outside of the house is.
Okay.... me done.
*edit* Forgot about eyes: Contacts work wonders and if the movie people have half a brain they'll use them.
And skin tone: if they can't use make up properly then they can do what Kristin Kreuk did for the movie Snow White. They had her stay out of the sun for a while before shooting started so she was naturally pale plus the make up they did made her look white as.... well, snow.

Yeah, agree with most of you.. in the book she just mentions that they stand out because they all look like godly, definition of perfection models, who wear designer-ish looking clothes. And I agree that they should all be really pale, maybe almost ivoryish with the gorgeous eyes... whhhew! This movie will be a breathtaker if they can do it right.

Wow!! I love all you picks for 'Bella', 'Edward', and 'Alice' personal style...
...But the one for 'Bella', I don't picture her with earrings and necklaces. That just seems too girl-y for her. I mean 'Bella' is girl-y, but not like a "girl-y girl"...
Anyways, super good picks! *high fives*
