Special effects for the Twilight movie???

Discussion about the Twilight movie. It's all speculation until Summit Films actually produces a script and casts it.

Not that the cast need it, but for anyone who has seen the third Resident Evil movie; the filter they used on Mila Jovavich was pretty much amazing, it gave her complexion such a flawless quality. I think if they used it sparingly on the Cullens it would be a nice touch.

I think the tree scene sounds quite cool! Every big budget hollywood movie today makes things more dramatic so its probably purely to show newbies how much utter strength Edward has - and to just look truly cool!

i think in incident where Bella nearly gets hit by a car will be a bit difficult to do on account of he Edward will need to stop it with his bodies force...but thats just my opinion!!!!

I admit, I'm a little worried. Only because this is my favorite story-period. It feels like everything...just HAS to be..right, BUT I believe everything will work...........

For example, some of you might have seen Never Back Down.... Summit produced that one, and while there was no magical aspect to it, the fighting sequences were awesome... everything just looked great!

Here are some more reason you should have faith in Summit,
other movies Summit has produced that you might know:

- Step Up & Step Up 2: The Streets (great casting)
- P.S. I love you (great on-screen chemistry between the main characters in love)
- P2 (lots of GREAT action)
- Vanilla Sky (another w/ great action scenes)
- Mr. & Mrs. Smith (another great on-screen chemistry showing good casting)
- Wrong Turn (more good action)
- American Pie (more great casting)
- The skulls (action, casting)
Yours,
Jenna

I just hope they only concentrare on special effects so much that it takes wasy from the rest of the movie. I definatly agree that the baseball and ballet seans will be hard.

This is actually the aspect of the movie that has me the most worried. A movie can be so easily ruined by letting the special effects overpower the story itself. I'm really hoping this isn't the case but a few things I've seen leave me doubtful. Still, final judgement will be withheld until we see the finished product, yes?

I really hope they don't do anything cheesy or ehh... yea.

Nothing like the choppy trail thing they did in Queen of the Damned, it;s too fake and cheap looking. Clean pictures are always best.
"Not to bring on the ire prematurely," he whispered, "but do you mind telling me what it is about this bed that you object to?"......."That's debateable," he disagreed. "This would be difficult on a couch."

It doesn't have to be bad special effects to ruin a movie. Even amazingly good special effects can ruin it if it's so overdone that it takes away from the story.
