1) This is the first mention we have of the huge black bear wandering around the forest of Forks. What was your first impression of this information? Did you think it would be as important as it turned out to be?

No. I thought that it would be involved with Bella going to the meadow somehow' *whistles innocently* but I didn't think it was anything like what the bears really were.

2) What did you think of Mike in this chapter and his behavior toward Bella? Were you surprised that he wasn't trying to 'make the most' of working alone with her?

Well, I never took Mike to be the kind of guy who would try to take advantage of a girl because they're alone'"I guess I think of him better than that. I thought that Mike was very respectable in that he wasn't shunning Bella like everyone else seemed to be. I did wonder if he was ever going to try to make a move, though.

3) What did you think of Bella's motorcycle plan?

Brilliant. Pure brilliant. *evil grin*

4) When you first saw Jacob through Bella's eyes, what did you think? Did you like him? Did you think he would become as important to her as he did?

I had liked Jacob back from Twilight, so I was glad that he seemed to become a more important character than he was. It made me feel all warm and fuzzy inside.

5) Were you surprised by Bella's complete reluctance to leave Forks or did you suspect it given Edward's minimally lingering presence? Why or why not?

I expected Bella to stay in Forks. I mean, Renee probably was still going around with Phil, and so Bella had to remember the real reason she came to Forks in the first place.

6) This is the first time we see Billy without Edward around or the threat of Edward looming. Did your impression of him change at all from Twilight? Why or why not?

Well, he obviously seemed more at ease, because there wasn't a vampire in the situation. Wouldn't everyone feel more comfortable without some blood-thirsty creature lurking around. (Even though Edward really isn't so much of a lurker')

1. I thought it was Emmett. Yeah. Go figure.

2. Mike seemed so normal. A little too normal for him, if you know what I mean.

3. I liked Bella's motorcycle plan. It made me laugh.

4. I didn't like Jacob. I can't remember why, he just sort of ticked me off. I didn't think he would be that important.

5. I wasn't surprised by Bella's reluctance to leave. I was thinking, If he comes back, he'll come back to Forks, not her mother's house...

6. Yeah, somehow Billy seemed less mean and scary. He seemed more normal.

1) This is the first mention we have of the huge black bear wandering around the forest of Forks. What was your first impression of this information? Did you think it would be as important as it turned out to be?
I sort of knew it had somthing to do with Victoria, and no not that important as it was played out to be.

2) What did you think of Mike in this chapter and his behavior toward Bella? Were you surprised that he wasn't trying to 'make the most' of working alone with her?
Haha i think it was incredibly insensible of him, expecially with the whole edward leaveing even though jake was now her really great friend

3) What did you think of Bella's motorcycle plan?
INGENIUS...i would definatly do it if i got to here my loves voice again!

4) When you first saw Jacob through Bella's eyes, what did you think? Did you like him? Did you think he would become as important to her as he did? I didn't like him, and no i thought he was going to be much more of a minor character then what he indented up being.

5) Were you surprised by Bella's complete reluctance to leave Forks or did you suspect it given Edward's minimally lingering presence? Why or why not? I wasn't surprised at all, because she still loved him and there was still memories there for her to hold on to because she needed to know he wasn't a dream.

6) This is the first time we see Billy without Edward around or the threat of Edward looming. Did your impression of him change at all from Twilight? Why or why not?
No he was still creepy and werid, and i still didn't like him much because he seemed fake.
Putting you in continual danger,

All this time I've resisted.

Now it's my turn to be the stranger

It'll be as if I never existed

With each cloud comes rain,
With each thunderstorm comes pain,
With each drop comes vain.

1) I actually first thought it was Emmet that they were seeing and thinking because of how broad and big Emmet was that they would think of it as a bear.

2)I forgot what he did in this chapter, and i am to lazy to go upstairs and get my book.

3) At first i didn't know what she was doing but then when it clicked in my mind i thought how sad it is that she misses him SO much that she would go so far just to hear his voice. This made me cry, again.

4) I liked Jacob already and I knew that with Edwards absence he would become a very important character and very important to Bella also.

5) uh i forgot what happened again, and i am too lazy to get my book still.

6) Yes he seemed nicer until Jake went away for a week then he got mean again, but after figuring out what was going on you see how Billy had a big heart the whole way through.

1) This is the first mention we have of the huge black bear wandering around the forest of Forks. What was your first impression of this information? Did you think it would be as important as it turned out to be?

At first, I was like ... "Emmett?" Then, "No! You're so stupid. How can it be Emmett? This isn't Harry Potter." And, yeah, I knew it would be important, because Stephenie doesn't drop in unnecessary details over the place ... unlike *some* people ... *glares at Homer*

2) What did you think of Mike in this chapter and his behavior toward Bella? Were you surprised that he wasn't trying to 'make the most' of working alone with her?

Not really. I think he's given up. I mean, Edward v. Mike? Puh-lease. He's not stupid. Why waste time on something that will never truly be yours? He doesn't "love" her. Besides, gentlemen don't hit on girls who are recovering from whirlwind vampire romances. :P

3) What did you think of Bella's motorcycle plan?

I was like ... "Oh, no, you don't. What? No! NO, GET BACK HERE, BELLA! Don't you dare! Don't you '""

4) When you first saw Jacob through Bella's eyes, what did you think? Did you like him? Did you think he would become as important to her as he did?

Funny thing about this. All through Twilight, I would think of all the human boys as one entity, if you see what I mean. I didn't really bother to sort out their different personalities and looks. But when we met Jacob again, I remembered all the little details about him. Hmmmmm ... Of course, I liked him. How can you not like Jacob? He's just a Nice Guy.

5) Were you surprised by Bella's complete reluctance to leave Forks or did you suspect it given Edward's minimally lingering presence? Why or why not?

Not remotely. That would be cutting the final tie, so to speak.

6) This is the first time we see Billy without Edward around or the threat of Edward looming. Did your impression of him change at all from Twilight? Why or why not?

Yes, definitely. Twilight was told much through Edward's eyes, because Bella was with him, and thinking of him, constantly. New Moon gave us a much less biased view of Forks.

1) This is the first mention we have of the huge black bear wandering around the forest of Forks. What was your first impression of this information? Did you think it would be as important as it turned out to be?
Actually no, I wasn't all that concerned about it. But I kind of knew about the story before I read it and figured it was a werewolf.

2) What did you think of Mike in this chapter and his behavior toward Bella? Were you surprised that he wasn't trying to 'make the most' of working alone with her?
I wasn't too surprised, I mean with the way she'd been acting.

3) What did you think of Bella's motorcycle plan?
Funny, stupid, and crazy!

4) When you first saw Jacob through Bella's eyes, what did you think? Did you like him? Did you think he would become as important to her as he did?
Well I wasn't a big Jacob fan at first. Mostly cause I was all about Edward and still a little mad he was gone. But when I starting reading about him, I fell in love. And yes I knew he would be important. :)

5) Were you surprised by Bella's complete reluctance to leave Forks or did you suspect it given Edward's minimally lingering presence? Why or why not?
I expected it. I mean with all that happened there she wouldn't want to leave and I'm sure she expected him to come back. If she left she'd have even less of a chance to see him again.

6) This is the first time we see Billy without Edward around or the threat of Edward looming. Did your impression of him change at all from Twilight? Why or why not?
Not really. I guess something about him just irritates me.

1) This is the first mention we have of the huge black bear wandering around the forest of Forks. What was your first impression of this information? Did you think it would be as important as it turned out to be?

Something out of normal was happening. I payed atention to it because it seemed to be really important.

2) What did you think of Mike in this chapter and his behavior toward Bella? Were you surprised that he wasn't trying to 'make the most' of working alone with her?

I was tired that Mike was trying to be with her. He was such a pain!

3) What did you think of Bella's motorcycle plan?

It was a little strange, but being Bella... well, it was normal at least.

4) When you first saw Jacob through Bella's eyes, what did you think? Did you like him? Did you think he would become as important to her as he did?

I thought it was good to saw him again, but I didn't like the perspective of him becoming more important than he was.

5) Were you surprised by Bella's complete reluctance to leave Forks or did you suspect it given Edward's minimally lingering presence? Why or why not?

I was surprised by Bella's complete reluctance to leave Forks, because I thought she would have wanted to be with Renee again.

6) This is the first time we see Billy without Edward around or the threat of Edward looming. Did your impression of him change at all from Twilight? Why or why not?

It didn't change because I didn't like Billy. Neither in New moon nor in Twilight.

1) This is the first mention we have of the huge black bear wandering around the forest of Forks. What was your first impression of this information? Did you think it would be as important as it turned out to be?

I knew it was a werewolf. I'd been waiting for it to pop up.

2) What did you think of Mike in this chapter and his behavior toward Bella? Were you surprised that he wasn't trying to 'make the most' of working alone with her?

That actually didn't occur to me. I mostly figured he knew she was in a zombie state anyway.

3) What did you think of Bella's motorcycle plan?

LOVED it.

4) When you first saw Jacob through Bella's eyes, what did you think? Did you like him? Did you think he would become as important to her as he did?

I did like him, but I kept thinking, "Don't you dare fall in love with him..."

5) Were you surprised by Bella's complete reluctance to leave Forks or did you suspect it given Edward's minimally lingering presence? Why or why not?

I expected it. She wanted to stay where she'd known him. She didn't want that, 'as thought I'd never existed' crap.

6) This is the first time we see Billy without Edward around or the threat of Edward looming. Did your impression of him change at all from Twilight? Why or why not?

Mmm, not really. He seemed like a pretty easy going dad though.

1) This is the first mention we have of the huge black bear wandering around the forest of Forks. What was your first impression of this information? Did you think it would be as important as it turned out to be?
The first time I heard about this I had no idea that it would be anything important. It was the first real glimpse of what went on at the Newton's store, so I figured it was just that. I especially didn't have any idea it would lead to the story that it did.

2) What did you think of Mike in this chapter and his behavior toward Bella? Were you surprised that he wasn't trying to 'make the most' of working alone with her?
Mike's just sort of in the background to me. I think he's gotten over the fact that Bella's "damaged" and isn't going to go after her.

3) What did you think of Bella's motorcycle plan?
I think it's ridiculous, but her logic is right on with wanting to bring Edward's voice back into her head everyday.

4) When you first saw Jacob through Bella's eyes, what did you think? Did you like him? Did you think he would become as important to her as he did?
It was always hard for me to imagine what Jacob looked like, I always felt like his hair was such a huge focus, it was difficult for me to imagine his face. His height is inimidating, especially compared to Bella's diminutive frame. I thought of him as just this pretty cute, really tall, lanky guy with crazy hair.

5) Were you surprised by Bella's complete reluctance to leave Forks or did you suspect it given Edward's minimally lingering presence? Why or why not?
I suspected it with Edward's lingering presence. Like Bella said in chapter 4, she wasn't going to do anything that would make it seem as though Edward had ever really not entered her life. She needed Forks because it was the one true connection she had to the aspect of her life she cherished most.

6) This is the first time we see Billy without Edward around or the threat of Edward looming. Did your impression of him change at all from Twilight? Why or why not?I still think he's an donkey. Now he's just an donkey for being such a schmooze now that Edward's gone.

1) This is the first mention we have of the huge black bear wandering around the forest of Forks. What was your first impression of this information? Did you think it would be as important as it turned out to be?

I never thought about it much until we discovered the truth about the werewolves. I thought it was just some sort of not particularly exciting comic relief.

2) What did you think of Mike in this chapter and his behavior toward Bella? Were you surprised that he wasn't trying to 'make the most' of working alone with her?

I would have thought he would try to snatch Bella up the second Edward left. His quiet ignorance of her pain shows that he is not nearly as good or cool or nice as he seems when Bella is in a good mood.

3) What did you think of Bella's motorcycle plan?

I never would have considered it myself, because I would be terrified of motorcycles(of course, I can't even drive yet, so maybe thats why). But I also would have done anything to hear Edward's voice again. It just wasn't the smartest plan.

4) When you first saw Jacob through Bella's eyes, what did you think? Did you like him? Did you think he would become as important to her as he did?

I never thought about Jake much(listening to my answers, I sound like I don't ever think at all or make predictions. I swear, I am not an airhead). But he just seemed like a really nice kid.

5) Were you surprised by Bella's complete reluctance to leave Forks or did you suspect it given Edward's minimally lingering presence? Why or why not?

I think Bella justified her reasoning pretty well, but I thought she would have wanted to get away from where his spirit would linger, so as not to be in pain.

6) This is the first time we see Billy without Edward around or the threat of Edward looming. Did your impression of him change at all from Twilight? Why or why not?

I never thought Billy's reaction to Edward made much sense, but I guess because he knew he was a vampire, it created mutual dislike. But until we found out the werewolf myth was true, I thought he was overreacting. Billy was never really important to me. He disliked Edward, so I didn't really like him.
