1. Were you at all surprised by the description Bella gave of the dullness that surrounded her life for the past four months? How did that make you feel?

A: No I wasn't surprised and I truly felt what she was talking about.

2. Did you agree with Charlie that Bella should go and be with her mother again? Why or why not?

A: No. Her problems were there. Wallowing in them wasn't good but leaving might just have been running away.

3. Bella chose to spend her first attempt at normalcy with Jessica Stanley. Why do you think she chose Jess and not one of her other friends? Do you think Jess was a good choice? How do you think this event impacted their relationship?

A: For the reasons she said, get Jess talking and she'll take over the convo. She's so self absorbed she'll talk more of herself and ask less questions. She was a good choice for Bella's purposes but I'm not sure she was a good choice in the real healthy sense. Angela would have been better. The true depths of their (Bella and Jess') friendship came to light. As in there was no friendship there.

4. When Bella first heard Edward's voice, did you think it was REALLY his voice or just in her head? What do you think of her solution to hear his voice more often by putting herself in danger?

A: I thought it was him. Hoped it was. I was as desperate for his return as she was. Her solution was stupid but oh so very tempting. I can't say I wouldn't have done the same.

1. Were you at all surprised by the description Bella gave of the dullness that surrounded her life for the past four months? How did that make you feel?

Not at all. It's Bella. It was obvs how she would react. I felt horrible for her, but I knew she would take it hard. I was kind of of surprised how long it lasted, though. I thought it would go on longer.

2. Did you agree with Charlie that Bella should go and be with her mother again? Why or why not?

No. Forks was her home now. Otherwise she'd be sent off to a new place that she wasn't used to at all. Also, this was her last year. Why start over with only one year left?

3. Bella chose to spend her first attempt at normalcy with Jessica Stanley. Why do you think she chose Jess and not one of her other friends? Do you think Jess was a good choice? How do you think this event impacted their relationship?

Jessica was a horrible choice. I was never really fond of Jessica, but whatever. It broke her from her slump in a way that she wouldn't have been if she went with Angela or Mike or something.

4. When Bella first heard Edward's voice, did you think it was REALLY his voice or just in her head? What do you think of her solution to hear his voice more often by putting herself in danger?

I thought it was really her voice. Despite the fact that he couldn;t see into her mind, maybe he had this connection that was so strong, he knew what she was doing and he was able to tell her to stop. I would have done the same thing.

No, I felt it was reasonable considering the most perfect creature she's ever known left her. This chapter has really strong writing in it, it really makes you feel for Bella!

2. Did you agree with Charlie that Bella should go and be with her mother again? Why or why not?
I think Bella might have been happier with her mother because she is more upbeat and there is nothing to remind her of the Cullens

1. Were you at all surprised by the description Bella gave of the dullness that surrounded her life for the past four months? How did that make you feel?

I wasn't surprised @ all. It made sense that she wld feel that way. But it did make me feel bad that Edward hadn't come back yet.

2. Did you agree with Charlie that Bella should go and be with her mother again? Why or why not?

I definitley did not agree w/ Charlie because i knew Edward was coming back, I didn't think it wld take so long but i knew he was coming.

4. When Bella first heard Edward's voice, did you think it was REALLY his voice or just in her head? What do you think of her solution to hear his voice more often by putting herself in danger?

Oh man when i read that i was so excited. :D I thought maybe some kind of way he cld hear her when she was in trouble. Like some kind of bond.

1. I was surprised that it wasn't worse, actually. I would have laid in bed and cried the whole time and I wouldn't care what my parents or friends thought.

2. Uh, I didn't agree or disagree. I didn't really have much of a reaction to that.

3. I thought it was him and that he came back in time to save her from those guys. I would have done the same thing to hear his voice more.
"I was with Edward in my happy place."

1. Were you at all surprised by the description Bella gave of the dullness that surrounded her life for the past four months? How did that make you feel?
Surprised, no. It hurt a lot, because i'm one of those people who feels everything that their favorite characters in a book feel when they read it.

2. Did you agree with Charlie that Bella should go and be with her mother again? Why or why not?
No. Because i think Bella was only ever really staying alive for her father and i think she needed to give Edward a long chance to come back.

3. Bella chose to spend her first attempt at normalcy with Jessica Stanley. Why do you think she chose Jess and not one of her other friends? Do you think Jess was a good choice? How do you think this event impacted their relationship?
I thought it was because Jessica is the most shallow and self - absorbed or Bella's human friends. Bella knows this, and she knows Jessica won't focus on her. I think Jessica was a bad choice. She wasn't compassionate enough.

4. When Bella first heard Edward's voice, did you think it was REALLY his voice or just in her head? What do you think of her solution to hear his voice more often by putting herself in danger?
I really thought it was him yelling at her. I think her solution is unreasonable, but i somehow understand why she did it.

1. I guess I was surprised by how beautiful the description was. It never fails to make me cry.
2. It would have been a good choice to get away from Forks if she really wanted to move on, so I can see Charlie's point. But, Bella wasn't ready to move on yet, so I guess it was a bad idea.
3. I think that she chose Jess because she talks a lot, and I don't think Bella had tried to talk to someone for a while ( even if it was just gossip). I don't like Jess, so I didn't think she was a good choice. I would have picked Angela, because she likes Bella the most (Mike would have been a fun choice though).
4. I thought it was him...I actually thought it was him somehow inside her mind until, like the very end  That was the idea though, right, that they would always be together? And I thought Bella's decision made sense, we all want to exact revenge on people

. Were you at all surprised by the description Bella gave of the dullness that surrounded her life for the past four months? How did that make you feel?
No, I wasn't at all suprised, she had lost such a huge part of herself so suddenly. I can see where that would tear her apart emotionally.

2. Did you agree with Charlie that Bella should go and be with her mother again? Why or why not?
I don't think it would have mattered. Bella wouldn't have been any happier with her mother.

3. Bella chose to spend her first attempt at normalcy with Jessica Stanley. Why do you think she chose Jess and not one of her other friends? Do you think Jess was a good choice? How do you think this event impacted their relationship?
I think she chose Jessica because she could count on Jess to do all the talking. I personally wouldn't have chosen Jess because she is so nosey. I would be afraid that she would begin to ask too many questions. Obviously, the impact this "attempt" had on their relationship was negative because Jess was upset with her for a while.

4. When Bella first heard Edward's voice, did you think it was REALLY his voice or just in her head? What do you think of her solution to hear his voice more often by putting herself in danger?
I figured it was like her mind telling her what she wanted to hear, but I think we all really wanted it to be Edward's voice.
I think it was pretty stupid on her part to break her promise to him by putting herself in danger every chance she could just to hear him. I know it was painful for her to be without him, but honestly....motorcycles and cliff diving....that is a little ridiculous.

No, I wasn't at all suprised, she had lost such a huge part of herself so suddenly. I can see where that would tear her apart emotionally.

No, I knew Bella would just break down, become and empty shell of what she once was. A zombie, if you will. he discription was beautiful, it reminds me of when I was away from my loved one fore about four month`s. I felt num sadness, just like Bella. How she was struguling to just hold on to what she had left, all of this was hard to read.

2. Did you agree with Charlie that Bella should go and be with her mother again? Why or why not?
I don't think it would have mattered. Bella wouldn't have been any happier with her mother.

I don`t think it would have matter ither, I would probably alow her to stay in Forks just to finish High School, that`s all.

I think she chose Jessica to spend her first attempt at normalcy because she would, like you said, do all the talking for her. It would also stop Charlie`s nagging and he would just sit there as Jessica babbled on...I think it would have been better for her to hang out with Angela Webber, I think she is Bella`s best Human friend (Unless she`s a witch...*laughs*). And the relationship between Bella and Jessica was negative because Jessica thought there was something wrong with Bella when she almost walked into that bar. I would probably be just as mad as Jessica.

4. When Bella first heard Edward's voice, did you think it was REALLY his voice or just in her head? What do you think of her solution to hear his voice more often by putting herself in danger?
I figured it was like her mind telling her what she wanted to hear, but I think we all really wanted it to be Edward's voice.

I think it was all in her head, she wished she could hear his voice so much that she believed she could hear it. And I didn`t realized she put herself in danger just to hear his voice, I agree with you on that one! And I knew she would break her promise eventualy...I mean realy, it`s BELLA ACCIDENT PRONE SWAN, what did you expect?

1. Were you at all surprised by the description Bella gave of the dullness that surrounded her life for the past four months? How did that make you feel?
No I was not surprised at all. I knew how much Edward meant to her. I felt the depression with her. Stephenie's writing style makes me feel everything that Bella feels...I was a very depressed person during New Moon.

2. Did you agree with Charlie that Bella should go and be with her mother again? Why or why not?
No, I did not agree with Charlie. I think that Charlie is what Bella needed. I think that Renee would have been good for Bella for a second, but I don't think it would have been good for her in the long run because Renee needs taken care of as much as Bella does.

3. Bella chose to spend her first attempt at normalcy with Jessica Stanley. Why do you think she chose Jess and not one of her other friends? Do you think Jess was a good choice? How do you think this event impacted their relationship?
I think that she chose Jess because Jess appears to be very superficial and wouldn't really care about whether or not Bella just randomly wanted to get together. I do think that Jess was a good choice because she didn't want a lot of questions asked. I think that the night pushed Jess away from Bella, because she could not handle Bella's problems.

4. When Bella first heard Edward's voice, did you think it was REALLY his voice or just in her head? What do you think of her solution to hear his voice more often by putting herself in danger?
I didn't think it was really his voice...if he didn't want to be seen he didn't have to be seen. But I finally accepted defeat that it wasn't really him. I didn't like the idea of her putting herself in danger to hear Edward, but I'm not saying that I wouldn't have done the same thing.
