1) Alice told Jasper she would get out, and then told Bella she hated lying to him, did this put you on edge?

Yes, i really thought that Alice would not get out alive, i thought someone was going to die in New Moon.

2) We learn a great deal about the Volturi in this chapter, what are your impressions of the Volturi now that their meeting is inevitable?

I was so scared, but also was reading very fast as i was intriuged by them- i wanted to know more about them.

3) Bella found it comforting to know that if they were too late she would have an "easy way out" did this frighten you, considering the Romeo and Juliet illusions?

No, i felt that if Edward died, Bella would have died too- if not physically then mentally, there would have been no going back for Bella at that point.

4) Alice promises to change Bella, did this make you optimistic for the future? How did you think that Edward would react to that?

Edward would freak, and at that point i wanted someone, anyone to change Bella as my heart kept missing beats everytime she "nearly" got killed.

5)Edward's plans were set, the steps for exposure in motion, were you afraid for his life?

Yes, i was- it seemed that Bella, not matter how fast she ws running would not get there on time.

6)Discribe your adrenaline rush:

I am running through the square with Bella, screaming Edwards name and i have butterflies in my stomach- i feel like i am actually there with the sun pouring down on me in Italy thats how much i am feeling the adrenaline rush....

1) Alice told Jasper she would get out, and then told Bella she hated lying to him, did this put you on edge?

a little. Put into perspective how serious the situation really was about to become.

2) We learn a great deal about the Volturi in this chapter, what are your impressions of the Volturi now that their meeting is inevitable?

I found them incredibly fascinating and scary at the same time.

3) Bella found it comforting to know that if they were too late she would have an "easy way out" did this frighten you, considering the Romeo and Juliet illusions?

I don't know if it really frightened me. Bella got mad at Edward for going out this way when she was considering doing the same thing herself....

4) Alice promises to change Bella, did this make you optimistic for the future? How did you think that Edward would react to that?

Secretly yes...my brain was going, "yes Alice BITE HER!!!" but i knew it wasn't going to happen. Edward would be furious. The Cullens would have to buy more furniture and electronics. :)

5)Edward's plans were set, the steps for exposure in motion, were you afraid for his life?

Yes. After he left in the beginning and we focused on Jacob for a good portion in the book i wasn't sure what Stephenie's plans were for Edward. o.o

6)Discribe your adrenaline rush:

Basically every bone in my body was screaming for Bella to reach Edward on time. And just when i thought it was all going to be ok the Volturi stepped in and then i wasn't even sure after that if Edward was still going to stick around. My stomach was on edge the whole time and the 1st time i read it i'm sure i was reading way too fast.

1) Alice told Jasper she would get out, and then told Bella she hated lying to him, did this put you on edge? It really did because I assumed that Alice had seen whatever events would lead to her not "getting out." Who bets against Alice, right?

2) We learn a great deal about the Volturi in this chapter, what are your impressions of the Volturi now that their meeting is inevitable? Even though they have an appearance of refinement, they are much more coarse to me, base. They are true preditors.

3) Bella found it comforting to know that if they were too late she would have an "easy way out" did this frighten you, considering the Romeo and Juliet illusions? This one I can't separate from Eclipse. I didn't find the series until the week that Eclipse was released and it was sitting next to me while I read New Moon. I probably couldn't have finished the book if I didn't know Eclipse and "Bedward" was waiting for me in the next book.

4) Alice promises to change Bella, did this make you optimistic for the future? How did you think that Edward would react to that? This was a no-brainer. Of course Edward would be angry. He's been fighting to keep her alive and human since he met Bella. It did, however, keep me optimistic about their future. Long before Edward laid out the infamous four options in so many words to Jacob in Eclipse, Stephenie had woven them into the fabric of the first two books. To me it was obvious that Bella needed to become a vampire and I was calmed to know that if Edward wouldn't do it, Alice would. My only fear was that if Alice or someone else changed Bella, that Edward would feel differently about her in her changed state.

5)Edward's plans were set, the steps for exposure in motion, were you afraid for his life? No. I trusted Stephenie to save him. I knew she wouldn't let me get so wrapped up in Edward and Bella's love for each other only to dash it away in a Shakespearian copy-cat ending. I had faith that Stephenie would create an original ending and that they would live to love again.

6)Discribe your adrenaline rush: It was just like one of those slow motion running dreams. I was so sure she wouldn't get to Edward in time, that he would be exposed and they would have to make some kind of get away. I did not expect to get to know the Volturi so intimately. My worst pain and most anxious moments were waiting for them to be safely on the plane back home.

1) Alice told Jasper she would get out, and then told Bella she hated lying to him, did this put you on edge?

Eh. I was worried, who wasn't at that part? But I trusted that Alice would do her best to get out, bringing Bella and Edward with her.

2) We learn a great deal about the Volturi in this chapter, what are your impressions of the Volturi now that their meeting is inevitable?

I didn't like them, but I wanted to know as much about them as I could.

3) Bella found it comforting to know that if they were too late she would have an "easy way out" did this frighten you, considering the Romeo and Juliet illusions?

It didn't frighten me necessarily, but it did worry me.

4) Alice promises to change Bella, did this make you optimistic for the future? How did you think that Edward would react to that?

I was excited at that part... and started planning out Bella being all vampire sexy and being with Edward. But, I never believed that Edward stopped loving her, so I figured that Edward would be mad, but not because he didn't want her.

5)Edward's plans were set, the steps for exposure in motion, were you afraid for his life?

There was a rational part of me that knew Edward wouldn't die. But that part was overshadowed by the part that was hypervenilating! :P

6)Discribe your adrenaline rush:

I stood up and jumped for awhile, while reading, which is not the easiest thing to do. Then I cried, then hypervenilated again... all in all, pretty crazy.

1) Alice told Jasper she would get out, and then told Bella she hated lying to him, did this put you on edge?
Answer: I was spoiled by a friend who had already read New Moon, who told me that no one really died except for a bad guy. So I knew Alice would be alright.

2) We learn a great deal about the Volturi in this chapter, what are your impressions of the Volturi now that their meeting is inevitable?
Answer: They were endangering Edward's life (in a way)! To me, the Volturi are Evil!

3) Bella found it comforting to know that if they were too late she would have an "easy way out" did this frighten you, considering the Romeo and Juliet illusions?
Answer: Despite the spoilers, I believed that there was a chance of Bella taking the "easy way out." This was strangley comforting, reflecting back on all the pain Bella suffered from Edward's abscence. I wouldn't have wanted to see that happen again.

4) Alice promises to change Bella, did this make you optimistic for the future? How did you think that Edward would react to that?
Answer: Alice's promise was the happiest thing I had read so far. The first time I smiled since I had started reading New Moon. And really, I didn't care how Edward would react to that, seeing how he might have not had the chance to react anyway.

5)Edward's plans were set, the steps for exposure in motion, were you afraid for his life?
Answer: Of course! The whole time I was screaming: "EDWARD! NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! :!: :!: :!:

6)Discribe your adrenaline rush:
Answer: I was hyperventalating! I wanted to scream (which I did)! I was reading as fast as Edward drives! I wanted to jump up and down, run around, and go to Italy and save Edward myself! (I LOVE EDWARD!) :!:

1) Alice told Jasper she would get out, and then told Bella she hated lying to him, did this put you on edge?
kind of. I was really hoping that Alice would survive, (i love her so much!) and i thought that she would but still.. I was practically gnawing my nails completley off!

2) We learn a great deal about the Volturi in this chapter, what are your impressions of the Volturi now that their meeting is inevitable?

I found the Volturi kind of creepy.. but interesting at the same time. I wasn't really scared of any of them.. except Jane. Jane just scares me so much!!

3) Bella found it comforting to know that if they were too late she would have an "easy way out" did this frighten you, considering the Romeo and Juliet illusions?
No.. I actually found it really sweet and kind of sad that if Bella couldn't have Edward she didn't want to live. That if h died she would try and die too (which considering Bella is quite easy... :D)

4) Alice promises to change Bella, did this make you optimistic for the future? How did you think that Edward would react to that?
I was excited. I really want Bella to become a vampire, even though parts of her i will miss. I was really curious to see Edward's reaction. I thought for sure he'd kill Alice (well.. not literally...)! I thought that he would be soo mad. It rended me of when Alice comes to visit, and Bella says "your not going to tell him are you?" and Alice says "No. He'd bite my head off." So just imganining Edwards reaction is just... *shudders*

5)Edward's plans were set, the steps for exposure in motion, were you afraid for his life?
Ohh yes! Once again i was gnawing my nails off. I didn't actually think that he would die, but I still thought "What if he does die?" I was almost as nervous as Bella (well... not quite I suppose..)!

6)Discribe your adrenaline rush:
Once again, gnawing my nails off. I was clutching the book so hard my fingers started to hurt (but that might be partly because I once again bit my nails too low....)! I could feel my breath catching at certain moments, without me meaning too, and I just couldn't put the book down! I also felt like I was there, as Bella trying to run to save Edward's life. I felt like I had to get there fast enough, like i couldn't turn pages fast enough!

Thanks Cocoa. :D

1) Alice told Jasper she would get out, and then told Bella she hated lying to him, did this put you on edge?
Not really. It just sort of irritated me at the time that Alice would risk Edward's life so Jasper wouldn't have to come. But looking back I see why she did it, and Bella understood completely.
2) We learn a great deal about the Volturi in this chapter, what are your impressions of the Volturi now that their meeting is inevitable?
They are a very ominous force. James and Victoria are not half as scary as those guys are. And they just get scarier the more you see with them.

3) Bella found it comforting to know that if they were too late she would have an "easy way out" did this frighten you, considering the Romeo and Juliet illusions?
Not really, though I thought it was kind of sweet for Bella to say (I'm sick, I know. :P ). I always knew Bella and Edward would come out safe, though.

4) Alice promises to change Bella, did this make you optimistic for the future? How did you think that Edward would react to that?
Haha...of course he would freak out. But I didn't care, I was just giddy at the prospect of it. It actually would have been really cool if Bella had shown up to save Edward as a vampire, but then where would the rest of the story go?

5)Edward's plans were set, the steps for exposure in motion, were you afraid for his life?
Nope. Never afraid. Stephenie would never hurt him (I don't think she would, anyway). :)

6)Discribe your adrenaline rush:
This part was SO intense, but even more so in the next chapter. It's like, even though you know they're going to be okay, you can't help but feel the rush of emotion and edgy feeling you get.

[quote="Moonflower"]1) Alice told Jasper she would get out, and then told Bella she hated lying to him, did this put you on edge? yes it did, very much but I knew they would get out since I read Eclipse first

2) We learn a great deal about the Volturi in this chapter, what are your impressions of the Volturi now that their meeting is inevitable? [/b]
I think they are very interesting, spacially Aro

3) Bella found it comforting to know that if they were too late she would have an "easy way out" did this frighten you, considering the Romeo and Juliet illusions?
No It didn't frighten me but I thought It was really sad, but, again, I had already read eclipse

4) Alice promises to change Bella, did this make you optimistic for the future? How did you think that Edward would react to that?
It was as if I hadn' read eclipse before, I forgot all about it and was hoping she'd really do it, I was so ecxited an nervous at the same time because if she bit Bella then there would be no chance of saving Edward.yes I was worried about how Edward might have reacted to that.

5)Edward's plans were set, the steps for exposure in motion, were you afraid for his life?
I thought my heart was going to stop when Alice said his plans were set, I was really worried

6)Discribe your adrenaline rush:
I wanted to tell Bella to hurry up, it seemed like she wasn't running fast enough,I felt like I was there, I could see it all in my head, all the people dressed in red clothes, I wanted to push them all away!!,It was way better than any accion movie I've ever seen.

1) A little, Alice usually sees everything. but in this case she had to "lie" to Jasper... this made me a little uncomfortable because She didn't know if it was true or not.

2) All along you picture them as "royalty" in a way. When you finally meet them and Bella sees how.. Dangerous they "look" and then Aro talks to them like Bella is a snack, Speaking how she is a waste and Edward disagrees. The meeting went very smoothly i thought.

3) Romeo and Juliet had a great deal of influence on my mind here, If they were too late, Bella would find a way for the Volturi to End her. The Same way Edward "died" Romeo and Juliet - Juliet drinks potion, Romeo Stabs himself. Juliet wakes up.. Kills herself. I see "Edward Gets Killed by Volturi for giving away the secret.. Bella shows up, Does something stupid to be killed"

4) well.. The fact Alice said she would Bite Bella makes you think; Alice said she wasn't ready to do this. But Alice can see things Happening, And if Alice sees Bella changing still well than thats how it will happen. But i don't think Alice will be the one to change her. I'm still very optimistic about Edward Changing Bella.

5) The more The Chapter Delayed Bella Running, and Edward moving Slowly, i was getting very nervous, the adrenaline rush was getting so bad i was almost screaming in my head. I found myself feeling I was Bella, I was the one running through the courtyard; i was the one yelling Edwards name. I was the one running into the fountain. Everything was so much; I was fearing his next step. As I approached Edward one more step would of ruined him Forever; His eyes were closed i could feel his pain and i could feel his need to have me. I knew he wasn't doing this because he was Sorry.. He must Love Bella.

6) I described it above.
