1) Have you ever had two friends who hated each other? Did you feel the pressure to choose or take sides?

Yes, but remember, IM SWITZERLAND. :D

2) We have had those moments in our life like Bella, where we are faced with the opportunity to bring a friendship to a new level. Did you act on that moment, how did it turn out for you? Or did you let it pass, like Bella did? Did you end up regretting not taking action?

No, I have never had that :D

3) We all act differently to crisis. In this case Bella was focused on saving Edward from himself, and didn't dwell on the coming danger to herself. Describe a time in your life that you acted for another's safety with out caring for your own.

My sister at some point but I can't remember when

4) At this point Romeo and Juliet were screaming at us from the grave, were you panicked? Did you read straight through to the end from here unable to put the book down?

YES. Oh my lord, yes!

5) Tell us your feelings regarding Jacob at the time verses now. Have they change with time to reflect back and additional reading?
Yes. I hate him now more than ever

1) Not really, I have a lot of groups of friends that don't talk to any of the other groups. Although, now I do, not that it matters anyway. My maybe-she-still-is-my-best-friend isn't talking to me, and I'm friends with her boyfriend's brother, but they hate each other and I just don't care anymore. She can be slightly manipulative and needy and clingy and she chose not to talk to me so I don't really care anymore. I have other friends.

2) Nope. Never really cared for romance. My friends tell me I'm cold-hearted :D.

3) I really don't know. I don't think I ever yet had to face a situation like that.

4) No, I couldn't because it was two in the morning and I was at my friend's grandmother's place, in another state and we were doing something the next day.

5) Actually, I didn't like Jacob in the beggining because I'm prejudiced against werewolves and so now that I re-read the books and read the FAQ on Eclipse that SM provided (Thanks! :D ), I feel obligated to stand up for Jacob. We're both the same, angsty, sarcastic, make a joke out of everything kind of people.

BUT, I have a question about this chapter.
When Edward called to check on whether or not Bella was actually dead, Jacob said that Charlie was at the funeral. If Charlie was at the funeral, why would there be anyone in his house?

1) Have you ever had two friends who hated each other? Did you feel the pressure to choose or take sides?
Yes, I felt extreme pressure when that type of thing happened to me. I felt so horrible and angry at them, I just wanted to grab them by the ears and force them to get along. :P

2) We have had those moments in our life like Bella, where we are faced with the opportunity to bring a friendship to a new level. Did you act on that moment, how did it turn out for you? Or did you let it pass, like Bella did? Did you end up regretting not taking action?
Yes, I let a friendship opportunity like that pass once, and I really regretted it. So, when I was lucky enough to get the opportunity again, I took it.

3) We all act differently to crisis. In this case Bella was focused on saving Edward from himself, and didn't dwell on the coming danger to herself. Describe a time in your life that you acted for another's safety with out caring for your own.
Well, I doubt I would have died in this incident, but when I was around 3rd grade-aged and my younger brother was in kindergarten, we were walking home from school. Then, when we walked passed a neighbor's house, I noticed that pasture gate to where she kept her horses was knocked down and bent, as if a truck had ran it over. Or one of our neighbor's strong horses had kicked it. The horses were no where to be found. I got a little worried, then continued on my way. My younger brother had continued on and not stopped, and he was now a few hundred yards ahead of me. So I continued walking, letting him have his freedom. But then, I saw one of our neighbor's horses up ahead. It was very spooked by something, and was doing a little lope of some sort toward my direction. I quickened my pace, eager to get home and call my neighbor's cell phone, since she wasn't home. But then, when the horse was just a few feet from my brother he, of course, screamed at the top of his lungs. The horse spooked and reared up. My brother ran, and the horse got spooked some more and began running, too, toward my brother. I still have no clue why it ran toward him, instead of away. But at that moment, I forgot about spooking the horse and did a stupid thing: ran to get my brother. The horse freaked out a little more, rearing up again. My brother was all but four feet away from it. I grabbed him by the arm and pulled him away. We ran into another neighbor's fenced yard. That neighbior came outside and asked what was going on, and we told him about the other neighbor's horse getting out. So he called that neighbor and it was all resolved.

4) At this point Romeo and Juliet were screaming at us from the grave, were you panicked? Did you read straight through to the end from here unable to put the book down?
Pretty much.

5) Tell us your feelings regarding Jacob at the time verses now. Have they change with time to reflect back and additional reading?
Yes, I have.

I haven't done that before. I'm 13!
4) At this point Romeo and Juliet were screaming at us from the grave, were you panicked? Did you read straight through to the end from here unable to put the book down?
Yep, I spent the rest of my day reading to the end. lol
5) Tell us your feelings regarding Jacob at the time verses now. Have they change with time to reflect back and additional reading?
At this point with Jacob I was half-thinking "What's it to you?!?" first time round. But having read Eclipse, I'm thinking, omg, am I GLAD she didn't listen to Jacob.

1) Have you ever had two friends who hated each other? Did you feel the pressure to choose or take sides?
Well not hate each other, but not really like each other. And basically i had to choose and now i am not really friends with the one person i didn't choose.

2) We have had those moments in our life like Bella, where we are faced with the opportunity to bring a friendship to a new level. Did you act on that moment, how did it turn out for you? Or did you let it pass, like Bella did? Did you end up regretting not taking action?
I let it pass, and i don't regret it.

I haven't really had a situation like that yet.

4) At this point Romeo and Juliet were screaming at us from the grave, were you panicked? Did you read straight through to the end from here unable to put the book down?
Sadly I found out that he left and came back before i even had the book. But i am pretty sure i couldn't put it down.

5) Tell us your feelings regarding Jacob at the time verses now. Have they change with time to reflect back and additional reading?

MY PERSONAL ANSWERS (obviously there's no right or wrong :D)
1. I don't think I've ever actually had two friends that hated each other... nope, I can't think of any. :D

2. I've had one experience like that. I don't even remember the guy's name, but I let it pass, and I don't regret it--he was a nice guy, but recently I've been hearing reports that he's a jerk, so I'm happy. :D

3. If we can talk about emotional safety... :D
I once broke up with a guy because I knew he was more interested in me than I was in him, and I liked him and all, but I didn't really care if I cried or what afterwards. And now, I'm happy. :D

4. HELL YES! I could NOT put the book down once I got to that part--I had to find out whether Bella would save Edward or not. (I don't know if I'm talking about the right part... could someone clarify that for me please?)

5. Umm... Right now, I feel that yes, Jacob would be a good friend, but as proved in the EIGHT MONTHS that Edward was gone, I don't think Bella would ever heal from giving up Edward. I don't think it would be possible for her to turn around and completely say NO to Edward.
My feelings have changed a little bit... at first, I hated Jacob for stuff like kissing Bella, and I hated Bella for even considering Jacob as an option. I'm totally all over Bella just forgetting about Jacob. But, I'm sure, he'll find some way to creep into Breaking Dawn... :D
But, on the same note, I would love it if Bella could keep Jacob as a friend, and he wouldn't keep trying to woo her... for his sake, I hope Jacob imprints on somebody else.

So, anybody: feel free to comment. :D

1) Yeah, I've been in that situation but it's pretty long ago and we never really were that close anyway.
2) Actually, I've never been in that situation! But generally, I'm not someone to regret decisions I've made...
3) God, I'm probably getting really boring but I've never reallybeen inthat kind of situation either!
4) Yeah, I read all through the night!
5) Nope, I've always loved him and I always will. :)
"Fall down again, Bella?"
"No, Emmett. I punched a werewolf in the face."

1) Have you ever had two friends who hated each other? Did you feel the pressure to choose or take sides?
Oh yes. Yes, there is always pressure when you have 2 friends that hate each other.

2) We have had those moments in our life like Bella, where we are faced with the opportunity to bring a friendship to a new level. Did you act on that moment, how did it turn out for you? Or did you let it pass, like Bella did? Did you end up regretting not taking action?
I had a boyfriend who totally crushed me. We broke up and got back together, then broke up again. After that I latched onto my guy friends more than ever. One of them started to show interest and I just wasn't quite ready to move on. After several weeks of persistence I finally gave in and went out with him. that is the best decision I ever made. He was my true love, my Edward. We have been married for 14 years in August with 2 wonderful kids.

3) We all act differently to crisis. In this case Bella was focused on saving Edward from himself, and didn't dwell on the coming danger to herself. Describe a time in your life that you acted for another's safety with out caring for your own.
I don't think I have ever been faced with that kind of situation.

4) At this point Romeo and Juliet were screaming at us from the grave, were you panicked? Did you read straight through to the end from here unable to put the book down?
Oh yeah! Stayed up late and only got like 3 hours of sleep before I had to be at work the next day.

5) Tell us your feelings regarding Jacob at the time verses now. Have they change with time to reflect back and additional reading?
I still like Jacob, he just frustrates me more now that he is a werewolf. He doesn't control himself like he did when Bella first started coming around. I wish he could just let her go.

1) Have you ever had two friends who hated each other? Did you feel the pressure to choose or take sides?

Ugh, too many times has this happened to me. Of course, I'm always the one that tries to make peace and keep everyone happy...it never works out that way.

2) We have had those moments in our life like Bella, where we are faced with the opportunity to bring a friendship to a new level. Did you act on that moment, how did it turn out for you? Or did you let it pass, like Bella did? Did you end up regretting not taking action?

Yeah, that happened to me once. I was just too stupid to take the hint that the guy liked me...even though he pretty much asked if I wanted to go out with me. Ugghhh...

3) We all act differently to crisis. In this case Bella was focused on saving Edward from himself, and didn't dwell on the coming danger to herself. Describe a time in your life that you acted for another's safety with out caring for your own.

Hmmm...well, probably when I went out looking for my dog when there was going to be a tornado. She had run away and I just was focused on getting her back even though the sirens were going crazy.

4) At this point Romeo and Juliet were screaming at us from the grave, were you panicked? Did you read straight through to the end from here unable to put the book down?

Yess!! I remember at the very beginning of the book, I had a really tough time getting through it; what with all the depression over Edward leaving, and being annoyed at Jake the whole time, but once I got here, there was no stopping me. I would stay up all night trying to get as far as I could. XD

5) Tell us your feelings regarding Jacob at the time verses now. Have they change with time to reflect back and additional reading?

I have pretty much always hated Jake. I mean, I guess he's alright, but I just wish he'd mature a little. He acts so stupid and it gets on my nerves. And besides, how can he possibly think he can compete with Edward!?
