1) Is Bella the only one affected by the Cullens leaving? How has 'nothing changed' in their absence?

Everyone was really happy! Except for Bella but why would she be? Charlie had mixed feelings. He dosn't like Edward, but he is mad because Bella was his grilfriend.

2) Why is the dream different than before? Did Bella's renewed contact with Jacob's family change her perception of Sam Uley? How so and why?

She remembers more because she was getting more human like and she probably got more affictaniote of Sam.

3) Why would Bella not want to be invisible now, when she wanted to be invisible last year?

Last year no one really knew of her at the klutz (except for the end...). And this year I think that she wanted someone to noctice her so she knew that she wasn't alone.

4) How is Charlie affected by this new Bella? Does he perceive how much of it is Jacob's doing?

Charle is really happy that Bella is spending all her time with Jacob and Charle wants Bella to be with Jacob so yea...
5) This is the second mention of the monstrous black bear. Did you realize at this point that there was more to it than that? What did you think was going on? Did you think it would turn into what it did?

No..I'm not good with that kind of thing. Last week I was happy because read Harry Potter 6 and I saw that ad Dumbledore's funeral it said that the barman at The Hogs Head was there and I piced together that that was Dumbledore's brother with edvance from the 7th. :!:

1) Is Bella the only one affected by the Cullens leaving? How has 'nothing changed' in their absence?

Bella is the only one affected. Everyone else just basically disregards it.

2) Why is the dream different than before? Did Bella's renewed contact with Jacob's family change her perception of Sam Uley? How so and why?

I dont really know. i guess, because she learned more about them by spending time with them?

3) Why would Bella not want to be invisible now, when she wanted to be invisible last year?

I guess she needed to get her mind off of Edward and the Cullens, so she just got more open.

4) How is Charlie affected by this new Bella? Does he perceive how much of it is Jacob's doing?

Yes, I think that Charlie likes how much time she spends with Jacob. He never really does want to forgive Edward for what he did to Bella.

5) This is the second mention of the monstrous black bear. Did you realize at this point that there was more to it than that? What did you think was going on? Did you think it would turn into what it did?

yeah. i thought maybe there was a little hint of WW! =P yeah.
"Tell me what you want, and you can have it."
"You," I mumbled almost incoherently.
"I'm yours."

1) Is Bella the only one affected by the Cullens leaving? How has 'nothing changed' in their absence?

I think Bella is the only one affected by the Cullens leaving susbstantially. Other people may be aware of it, but I don't think they necessarily care. Life basically has to go on for everyone else, not so much for Bella.

2) Why is the dream different than before? Did Bella's renewed contact with Jacob's family change her perception of Sam Uley? How so and why?

Okay, don't have my copy with me, but isn't Sam in the dream now? And isn't he very unhelpful? Yeah, I remember now. I'm not sure if it changed her perception or not, I'd have to reread that part....

3) Why would Bella not want to be invisible now, when she wanted to be invisible last year?

I think she knows that her being invisible would affect people more now, than when she was just some new girl people coudn't get enough of.

4) How is Charlie affected by this new Bella? Does he perceive how much of it is Jacob's doing?

Charlie, like any normal father would be, is happier because of this new Bella. I don't think he knows just how much of Bella's "recovery" is owed to Jacob. But seeing as he doesn't know that whole truth of what exactly what his daughter is involved in... how could he?

5) This is the second mention of the monstrous black bear. Did you realize at this point that there was more to it than that? What did you think was going on? Did you think it would turn into what it did?

I pretty much knew that it was going to come into the story somehow. I thought that the Cullen's were going to have to come back and kill all the bears because Edward wouldn't want them around Bella (keep in mind that I never believed Edward stopped loving her..) I was surprised that the bears were actually something more... and not really bears.

Hmmm... I had to think about this one a while. Let's see if I can word this correctly... Last year, Bella was the big, new thing. Everyone wanted to see the new girl from Phoenix, everyone gave her unwanted attention, and yada yada yada.
A year later, she doesn't want to feel invisible. This is because during her zombie months, people started to tune Bella out- just like Bella did to them. Her Zombie months were her Invisible months. Now, she's not a zombie and coming out from under her invisibility cloak (hah! Harry Potter reference!), but everyone else is not used to it yet. They are still tuning her out. They're giving her her invisibility a year too late. Ok. I think that makes sense.

No, no I think this really makes sense. People won't leave her alone when she want's to be, and when she is finally ready to be noticed again, people are so used to giving her space because of her formerly distant pretenses that they don't notice her.

1) Is Bella the only one affected by the Cullens leaving? How has 'nothing changed' in their absence?

Everyone is still the same. Mike is talking to her again, the girls are still the girls, Charlie still obsessed with sports.

2) Why is the dream different than before? Did Bella's renewed contact with Jacob's family change her perception of Sam Uley? How so and why?

I think all the time in La Push is bringing back associations with the Quiluetes, and Sam is now in the dream because he was that found her. Both worlds meshed in her nightmare.

3) Why would Bella not want to be invisible now, when she wanted to be invisible last year?

She now feels comfortable in Forks, wants to know that she still is something even though Edward is gone.

4) How is Charlie affected by this new Bella? Does he perceive how much of it is Jacob's doing?

I think Charlie is still cautious but happy that things seem to be turning for the better. He knows some of it is Jacob, and it's clear that he likes him, I just don't think he realizes how much Jacob is helping her.

5) This is the second mention of the monstrous black bear. Did you realize at this point that there was more to it than that? What did you think was going on? Did you think it would turn into what it did?

At this point, I realized there was more to the black bear than I thought. It's so interesting reading things through over, and seeing how much I overlooked the first time and seeing all the clues now.

5) This is the second mention of the monstrous black bear. Did you realize at this point that there was more to it than that? What did you think was going on? Did you think it would turn into what it did?
1. Well, Bella is the only one that is affected extensively. Charlie is affected by the Cullens' leaving because Bella is.

2. I have no memory of that dream, so I have no answer.

3.She wanted to have something else to dwell on besides the Cullens.

4. He is mostly relieved that Bella is not so much the shell she was, I think he might see that it is Jake helping her.

5. I realized that the bear was a werewolf the first time, because I had just read that part of Twilight and then read New Moon. I figured that there was going to be something more with the werewolves b/c of Bella's dream in Twilight. I wasn't thinking about what kind of impact it would make on Bella's life at that point.

The reservation is going shoot that they've left. Other than that no one really knew who they were so no one in forks really cares that they left.

2) Why is the dream different than before? Did Bella's renewed contact with Jacob's family change her perception of Sam Uley? How so and why? Bella hates Sam. D: Who wouldn't with the way Jacobs been talking about him.

3) Why would Bella not want to be invisible now, when she wanted to be invisible last year?
I'm not sure. I should have payed better attention.

4) How is Charlie affected by this new Bella? Does he perceive how much of it is Jacob's doing? Charlie feels better about the new Bella. He's encouraging Bella to hang out with him at crazy lengths.

5) This is the second mention of the monstrous black bear. Did you realize at this point that there was more to it than that? What did you think was going on? Did you think it would turn into what it did? I knew what it was.

1) Is Bella the only one affected by the Cullens leaving? How has 'nothing changed' in their absence?
Well Bella was the only one seriously affected. But people in the reservation where extremly happy that they left. As for the rest of forks, don't think they cared really.

2) Why is the dream different than before? Did Bella's renewed contact with Jacob's family change her perception of Sam Uley? How so and why?
I don't know what dream you are talking about...

3) Why would Bella not want to be invisible now, when she wanted to be invisible last year?
I am guessing because now she knew the people in the town and she wanted something help clear her mind for a while of Edward.

4) How is Charlie affected by this new Bella? Does he perceive how much of it is Jacob's doing?
He is much happier you can tell that. But what dad wouldn't. His daughter is finally getting back to "normal"

5) This is the second mention of the monstrous black bear. Did you realize at this point that there was more to it than that? What did you think was going on? Did you think it would turn into what it did?
I was probably still blinded from it. Just because i never notice these things. ha =D
