I have none. They're all good.

Do you think Bella is starting to regret that she flirted with Jacob in order to get information from him?

At this point in time, yes.

Much of the chapter centers around the phrase, "it doesn't matter". Why exactly doesn't it matter to Bella?

Hello! It's Edward!

Bella is on the verge of tears once and then finally does cry a second time. What emotion do you think is largely responsible for her tears given that we know she only usually cries when she is angry.

She's frustrated, I think. The guy she's in love with loves her back but is continually trying to tell her to leave him alone for her own good. I'd have been crying too.

The chapter ends with the famous "three things" quote. What exactly do you think was the point where Bella fell "unconditionally and irrevocably in love" with Edward?

When it sunk in that he was a predator and things were going to get rough.

There are so many humorous quotes from this chapter. The "zingers" keep coming. Which is your favorite from chapter nine and why?

Definitely "I hear voices in my mind and you're worried you're the freak!"

Do you think Bella is starting to regret that she flirted with Jacob in order to get information from him?

I think she regrets that it might get jacob into trouble, but I don't think she regrets doing what she had to in order to get the information about Edward that she was seeking.

Much of the chapter centers around the phrase, "it doesn't matter". Why exactly doesn't it matter to Bella?

She's in love with Edward no matter what he is, or what he's done. She loves the essence of who he is, so it doesn't matter that he's not human.

Bella is on the verge of tears once and then finally does cry a second time. What emotion do you think is largely responsible for her tears givien that we know she only usually cries when she is angry.

I think she cries for two reasons: First, she's hurt when Edward snaps, "Never say that" when she tells him it's too late to top her feelings for him. I think she feels that this is a type of rejection, because he's rejecting her feelings for him in a way. And I think she's despondent because she thinks she may never get the chance to be alone and totally open with him like that again.

The chapter ends with the famous "three things" quote. What exactly do you think was the point where Bella fell "unconditionally and irrevocably in love" with Edward?

I've always had the feeling that she feel in love with him definitively that very evening because he has confided his biggest secrets to her. I would imagine she feels incredibly close to him at that point; after all, she's the only human who knows he's a vampire, and he's chosen her to confide this to.

Ooh YAY! THIRD!

There are so many humorous quotes from this chapter. The "zingers" keep coming. Which is your favorite from chapter nine and why? " 'Tell me more', I asked desperately, not caring what he said, just so I could hear his voice again" (187). I LOVE that part because it makes me feel like how Bella must feel. She wants to hear him speak again, she NEEDS to hear his voice again, because she's falling in love with him. That quote gets to me.

Do you think Bella is starting to regret that she flirted with Jacob in order to get information from him? I think she regrets having to play with Jacob's feelings. She knows what its like to be "dazzled" by someone, so she must feel bad that she had to somewhat "dazzling" ((hehehe)) to Jacob for her own personal reasons.

Much of the chapter centers around the phrase, "it doesn't matter". Why exactly doesn't it matter to Bella? Because she's already fallen too deep. She knows now there's no going back, she's in love and she'll take him no matter what's wrong with him.

Bella is on the verge of tears once and then finally does cry a second time. What emotion do you think is largely responsible for her tears givien that we know she only usually cries when she is angry. Frustration. I can relate to Bella crying only when she's mad. I'm not a crier, and that's bad when you're trying to get into any kind of acting at school.

The chapter ends with the famous "three things" quote. What exactly do you think was the point where Bella fell "unconditionally and irrevocably in love" with Edward? When? Umm... I'd like to think love is kind of a snowball effect. To me, love is a collection of little moments. I think she was intrigued by him, she was captivated by his looks ((of course!)), and she was propelled by her curiosity to find out more about him.

There are so many humorous quotes from this chapter. The "zingers" keep coming. Which is your favorite from chapter nine and why?

Like you said in the question, there are so many in the chapter that I don't think that I'm able to pick a favorite.

Do you think Bella is starting to regret that she flirted with Jacob in order to get information from him?

Yeah, I mean she was completely leading him on, she was milking him for information and he seemed really interested. Now whenever we see him he is like head over heals for her and she completely mislead him. He has to get hurt then seeing her with Edward and he can't seriously think that he can compete with Edward anyway. I sort of feel sorry for Jacob he's so sweet, he deserves someone that can love him. So yeah I think Bella did regret it, maybe the relationship will come in handy again though, who knows?

Much of the chapter centers around the phrase, "it doesn't matter". Why exactly doesn't it matter to Bella?

Bella cares about Edward, she's madly in love with him, it doesn't matter to her if he is a vampire because she cares so much for him. Also from what she's heard he might have been bad in the past, but he's trying to make up for what he's done by fighting the need to feed off of humans. He's gone completely vegetarian. Bella doesn't care about his past, only his future... with her. I mean she loves the guy regardless of what he is, it doesn't matter to her.

Bella is on the verge of tears once and then finally does cry a second time. What emotion do you think is largely responsible for her tears givien that we know she only usually cries when she is angry.

Nobody likes to feel regected or to have the things that they want dangled in front of their faces. Edward has been so caring for her all this time and when he says it's never to late it's like he doesn't actually care for her, but he does because he wants to save her from himself. Bella is brought to tears because of the frustration of not being able to be with the person she so badly wants to be with. Then later when she feels the wall growing between them it's like he really is saying it's not going to happen because she would feel like she wouldn't be able to stay close to him with some many walls down like they had been. Gosh I'd be brought to tear if I couldn't be close to the ones I cared for or loved.

The chapter ends with the famous "three things" quote. What exactly do you think was the point where Bella fell "unconditionally and irrevocably in love" with Edward?

Bella fell in love with Edward the second she laid her eyes on him, but with all that behind, I think her relization of the fact that he risked his whole family's existence to save her from the death that seems inexplicable to happen. Not only that he had been looking for her all night to make sure that she was alright and alive. She can probably tell that he cares for her, he's gorgeous, and they really seem to understand each other. He also was trying to save her from himself, he was so selfless about what he wanted, Bella would be insane not to love him since it seemed so clear that he loved her. I mean I was in love with him to by the end of the chapter she should be too.

There are so many humorous quotes from this chapter. The "zingers" keep coming. Which is your favorite from chapter nine and why?

" ?I hear voices in my mind, and you?re worried that you?re the freak.? ~ Edward to Bella laughing at her for being worried that Edward can read everyone?s mind but hers." haha, I love that line! It makes me laugh...just because Edward is here telling Bella all the weird supernatural things he can do, but the second he tells her he can't read her mind she gets all worried! I like how he teases her about it.

Do you think Bella is starting to regret that she flirted with Jacob in order to get information from him?

I think she's glad she did it...but she's worried for his sake. I mean, she did force the truth out of him! So, it was her fault...and I'm sure she has no regrets about that part. But, she doesn't want to get him into trouble! (also, she probably would've thought twice about it if she would've known that he would start liking her! haha)

Much of the chapter centers around the phrase, "it doesn't matter". Why exactly doesn't it matter to Bella?

She's in love with Edward! Don't people always use the term "Love is blind." She doesn't care that he's a vampire...all she cares about is the fact that she loves him, and whether he loves her back.

Bella is on the verge of tears once and then finally does cry a second time. What emotion do you think is largely responsible for her tears givien that we know she only usually cries when she is angry.

She's probably just frustrated! She tells this guy it doesn't matter to her he's a vampire and he still won't let the subject drop, and he won't stop stressing on how dangerous he is. She obviously knows, so she probably just wants him to let it go.

The chapter ends with the famous "three things" quote. What exactly do you think was the point where Bella fell "unconditionally and irrevocably in love" with Edward?

She fell inlove with him the first moment she laid eyes on him...she just didn't realize it until after he saved her. I think she realized she was crushing on him...but she probably didn't think it was love! But, I think she loved him from the very begining!

I'm not sure. They're all good.

Do you think Bella is starting to regret that she flirted with Jacob in order to get information from him?

At this point in time, yes.

Much of the chapter centers around the phrase, "it doesn't matter". Why exactly doesn't it matter to Bella?

Because Bella is already in love with Edward, and nothing he says is going to stop her.

Bella is on the verge of tears once and then finally does cry a second time. What emotion do you think is largely responsible for her tears givien that we know she only usually cries when she is angry.

I'm not quite sure, I never really thought about it.

The chapter ends with the famous "three things" quote. What exactly do you think was the point where Bella fell "unconditionally and irrevocably in love" with Edward?

I think Part of Bella fell in love with Edward when she first saw him, but I think the major thing was probably the van accident, and him saving her.

Heheh, all of them :-D

Do you think Bella is starting to regret that she flirted with Jacob in order to get information from him?

If you mean do you think she regrets getting the info at all, I would have to say no. But as for the method, I think she kind of did because she felt like she was taking advantage.

Much of the chapter centers around the phrase, "it doesn't matter". Why exactly doesn't it matter to Bella?

Because she loves him >.< So sweet.

Bella is on the verge of tears once and then finally does cry a second time. What emotion do you think is largely responsible for her tears givien that we know she only usually cries when she is angry.

Frustration, I think.

The chapter ends with the famous "three things" quote. What exactly do you think was the point where Bella fell "unconditionally and irrevocably in love" with Edward?

I don't really know, the same way she doesn't. It just kind of happened, you know?

There are so many humorous quotes from this chapter. The "zingers" keep coming. Which is your favorite from chapter nine and why?

?I hear voices in my mind, and you?re worried that you?re the freak.? This has got to be one of the funniest things I can remeber off the top of my head. There are sooo many other good ones...but this one just stuck with me for good.

Do you think Bella is starting to regret that she flirted with Jacob in order to get information from him?

Ha! No! I think she is embarrased that she had to get the info that way...but not actually regret it. She uncovered Edward and who he really was...that is all she really wanted.

I do think she might be a bit worried...she did pull it out of him, and she later learns it's information from a treaty...so I am sure she does not want to get him in trouble...but no regrets.

Much of the chapter centers around the phrase, "it doesn't matter". Why exactly doesn't it matter to Bella?

Because she is on love. Loving somebody...really loving somebody means accepting them for who the are...regardless of what that may be. So...he is a vampire, she knows it...accepts it...loves him regardless.

Bella is on the verge of tears once and then finally does cry a second time. What emotion do you think is largely responsible for her tears givien that we know she only usually cries when she is angry.

I think there are several feelings...love, rejection, frustration...all rolled into one.

There is this perfect being...who lets her in...tells her his secrets and she loves him no matter what... and then he sort of pulls back! I would fall to tears also...the frustration of the entire situation...of wanting something so much that dangles in front of you, and even though you can touch it...you can't really reach it! Arrr!! And then...knowing there is a simple thing that could be done to be together...but he is not willing to take that step...the rejection of it all...even though it is to keep her safe...ahhhhhh!

Too many things going on at once...it's a wonder this girl didn't end up in the phsyc ward!

The chapter ends with the famous "three things" quote. What exactly do you think was the point where Bella fell "unconditionally and irrevocably in love" with Edward?

The act of Edward being selfless...I mean, you don't come across guys who would put you first, your safety above anything that often...especially not if that guy is a vampire and you are technically his favorite dish!

The fact that she knows he actuatlly does care for her...he looks after her even in her dreams.

But most important...the action of telling her his truths, being honest, opening up to her...trusting her.

All these things...big and small in combination are what I think true love is all about. Letting the person you love know you completely, taking care of them...and just laying you life out in front of theirs to ensure they are happy, safe.

And he is HOT...hehe! Can't really get any better if you ask me.
