1. Did you figure out right away that they were on their way to prom or did you, like Bella, have something else in mind?

I didn't imagine prom at all but I didn't think along the lines that Bella was either. I think it may have been a welcome home party or something because it didn't really mention how much time had passed since the Phoenix incident.

2. If you haven't read the extended prom remix at Stephenie's site, I encourage you to do so right now. If you have read it, do you think the shorter version is better? What parts of the extended version do you think should have been left in the book and why?

I think parts of the extended version should have been left in it. I liked seeing Alice dress Bella up and see how beautiful Bella is but I don't like Rosalie's input on the whole thing. She despises Bella, even through most of New Moon so it wouldn't make sense to have all of that in there so early--that they suddenly get along well.

3. How did you feel about Jacob at the prom? And please, try to ignore any feelings you may have developed about him from New Moon. Remember at the end of Twilight, Jacob doesn't believe in the superstitions of his people and is only there to get parts for his car.

I felt really bad for him actually. He clearly didn't want to be there even he was pleased to see Bella. He was uncomfortable being at a prom and even more uncomfortable having to tell Bella what he was instructed to. Also at that point, he didn't stand much of a chance compared to Edward and even though he just had a bit of crush on her it still must have been even more awkward for him. Poor Jake...

4. The last line of Twilight has confused many readers as they assume Edward bites her right then and there. Were you one of those people? Be honest! And how did you feel about that ending? If you read the book when it first came out, were you desperate for more? If you read the book recently, did you know there was a sequel and were already planning to read it?

I wasn't one of those people because I immediately started New Moon afterwards because the first chapter was there at the end of it. So I didn't actually spend time dwelling on it. To be honest, if I had read them when Twilight first came out and before ever knowing about any sequels I may have though he bit her but I can't be sure. And yes I started New Moon immediately afterwards so the plan was set in stone.
Here, there, and everywhere...that's where you'll find me.

1. Did you figure out right away that they were on their way to prom or did you, like Bella, have something else in mind?
-yup, i knew it was prom time. stephenie couldn't possibly let tyler go unscathed. :P

2. If you haven̢۪t read the extended prom remix at Stephenie̢۪s site, I encourage you to do so right now. If you have read it, do you think the shorter version is better? What parts of the extended version do you think should have been left in the book and why?
-i LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE the extended version! but the one in the book is also okay, just wish they could put the two together. :( all of it should have been left in the book, at the beginning, then led to the scene at the prom. :)

3. How did you feel about Jacob at the prom? And please, try to ignore any feelings you may have developed about him from New Moon. Remember at the end of Twilight, Jacob doesn̢۪t believe in the superstitions of his people and is only there to get parts for his car ?
-poor jacob. i wasn't mad at him because he was such a kid, taking bribes from his father to get something he wanted. :P

4. The last line of Twilight has confused many readers as they assume Edward bites her right then and there. Were you one of those people? Be honest! And how did you feel about that ending? If you read the book when it first came out, were you desperate for more? If you read the book recently, did you know there was a sequel and were already planning to read it?
-nope, i knew he wouldn't bite her just yet because i knew there was a sequel. it was actually a good ending, kind of sad and sweet, but that's the whole theme of the book anyway. yup i was desperate for more. i actually got the softbound version for my birthday. when i finished reading it, i immediately went to the bookstore to buy the next 2 books. i had to go to 6 different bookstores and wound up buying the hardbound versions. :P

1. Did you figure out right away that they were on their way to prom or did you, like Bella, have something else in mind?

I had thought that maybe instead of prom, he was going to take her somewhere to have a private prom with just Bella and his family.

2. If you haven't read the extended prom remix at Stephenie's site, I encourage you to do so right now. If you have read it, do you think the shorter version is better? What parts of the extended version do you think should have been left in the book and why?

I personally really liked the extended prom remix. I think you got a better look at the personalities.

3. How did you feel about Jacob at the prom? And please, try to ignore any feelings you may have developed about him from New Moon. Remember at the end of Twilight, Jacob doesn't believe in the superstitions of his people and is only there to get parts for his car

I felt bad for Jacob. He obviously had feelings for Bella, but he knew that she was head over heels for Edward. I admire him for going and trying to be her friend and putting himself in such an akward position.

4. The last line of Twilight has confused many readers as they assume Edward bites her right then and there. Were you one of those people? Be honest! And how did you feel about that ending? If you read the book when it first came out, were you desperate for more? If you read the book recently, did you know there was a sequel and were already planning to read it?

I didn't think that Edward had bit her. I just thought he was savoring the scent like he was so good at. I loved the ending as it enticed me even more into "New Moon."
I just found the "Twilight" series a couple of months ago. So all 3 books were sitting there and I picked up "Twilight." I was hooked after the preface of the book. :D

2. If you haven't read the extended prom remix at Stephenie's site, I encourage you to do so right now. If you have read it, do you think the shorter version is better? What parts of the extended version do you think should have been left in the book and why?

1. Did you figure out right away that they were on their way to prom or did you, like Bella, have something else in mind?

I figured something was up. I thought it could be prom since it was the end of the book. But I loved Stephenie played it out. Bella hated it and Edward loved watching her squirm lol.

2. If you haven't read the extended prom remix at Stephenie's site, I encourage you to do so right now. If you have read it, do you think the shorter version is better? What parts of the extended version do you think should have been left in the book and why?

I liked both. But I think I liked the shorter book version. It kind of added on the suspense of what they were doing. But I did like the little conversation in the remix with Rosalie, Alice and Bella.

3. How did you feel about Jacob at the prom? And please, try to ignore any feelings you may have developed about him from New Moon. Remember at the end of Twilight, Jacob doesn't believe in the superstitions of his people and is only there to get parts for his car.

I think that it was a nice that Bella danced with him. But I don't think she should have. That is only furthering his development of a crush on her.

4. The last line of Twilight has confused many readers as they assume Edward bites her right then and there. Were you one of those people? Be honest! And how did you feel about that ending? If you read the book when it first came out, were you desperate for more? If you read the book recently, did you know there was a sequel and were already planning to read it?

My sister got me into Twilight a few months ago. I pretty much knew about the two sequels because she was always raving about them. But the way that she summarized them sounded like a boring book that I would never want to read. But then I read it and I fell in love with all.... well almost all the characters. The last line in my opinion was not him biting her. Because he seemed too stand offish about the whole turning her into a vampire idea. Plus he wouldn't do it at the Prom, where people could see him. But I think it was a good sag way into New Moon.

1. Did you figure out right away that they were on their way to prom or did you, like Bella, have something else in mind?

I didn't know they were going to prom. After so much with James, I was still gushing over the chapter Angel (Love that chapter!) But obviously I think it was a nice surprise for Bella (probably not the best reaction. ) I think it was the most ordinary umm... human thing Edward could have done for Bella at least.

2. If you haven't read the extended prom remix at Stephenie's site, I encourage you to do so right now. If you have read it, do you think the shorter version is better? What parts of the extended version do you think should have been left in the book and why?

I think the getting ready part was nice, the whole dolling up part with Alice and Rose. Very funny!

But the cooking bit was a bit much. I think it was nice the way it was in the final book--bringing us right into the scene without having us wondering for a few pages "What the heck is going on?" The end result is better I think.

3. How did you feel about Jacob at the prom? And please, try to ignore any feelings you may have developed about him from New Moon. Remember at the end of Twilight, Jacob doesn't believe in the superstitions of his people and is only there to get parts for his car

I thought it was a very awkward time for Jake. I felt sorry for him.

If you read the book when it first came out, were you desperate for more? If you read the book recently, did you know there was a sequel and were already planning to read it?

I wasn't confused at first. I read it twice and thought it was a beautiful ending. I looked at the back of Twilight and knew there was a sequel because the day I finished it--about a day after I got it, I asked my mom to purchase the other two books. Been addicted ever since.

1) I knew they were going prom. I already had the feeling... but once the word "frilly" was mentioned, it was obvious... haha.

2) I like the extended remix, personally. I LIKE ALL THE EXTRA PARTS =)

3) I felt bad for poor Jacob... you could tell he thought the whole thing was silly. It must have been really embarrassing and awkward for him.

4) I already knew about the sequels, and I really didn't get that impression anyway...

1. Did you figure out right away that they were on their way to prom or did you, like Bella, have something else in mind?
yeah i knew that he was taking her to prom but i couldn't believe that it took Bella so long to figure it out herself

2. If you haven't read the extended prom remix at Stephenie's site, I encourage you to do so right now. If you have read it, do you think the shorter version is better? What parts of the extended version do you think should have been left in the book and why?
i think all of it should have stayed in the book because it made me laugh so bad

3. How did you feel about Jacob at the prom? And please, try to ignore any feelings you may have developed about him from New Moon. Remember at the end of Twilight, Jacob doesn't believe in the superstitions of his people and is only there to get parts for his car
i think it was good that he was getting parts for his car, but also it was kind of really weird that he was there

4. The last line of Twilight has confused many readers as they assume Edward bites her right then and there. Were you one of those people? Be honest! And how did you feel about that ending? If you read the book when it first came out, were you desperate for more? If you read the book recently, did you know there was a sequel and were already planning to read it?
no i wasn't one of those people. i wasn't really desperate because i knew what happened in new moon before i knew what happened in twilight (i read new moon first which really sucked because i didn't know twilight existed until i actually read the cover of new moon and saw that twilight existed)

1. Did you figure out right away that they were on their way to prom or did you, like Bella, have something else in mind?

A: I don't think I expected Bella's suspicions but I didn't expect prom either. I thought just a fancy evening together.

2. If you haven't read the extended prom remix at Stephenie's site, I encourage you to do so right now. If you have read it, do you think the shorter version is better? What parts of the extended version do you think should have been left in the book and why?

A: Oh, so hard to say. Yes, I think more should have been left in but I'm not sure what. It's hard to pick and choose sometimes.

3. How did you feel about Jacob at the prom? And please, try to ignore any feelings you may have developed about him from New Moon. Remember at the end of Twilight, Jacob doesn't believe in the superstitions of his people and is only there to get parts for his car?

A: I felt bad for him but I though he was harmless. He had a crush but Bella knew her heart and he was her friend.

4. The last line of Twilight has confused many readers as they assume Edward bites her right then and there. Were you one of those people? Be honest! And how did you feel about that ending? If you read the book when it first came out, were you desperate for more? If you read the book recently, did you know there was a sequel and were already planning to read it?

A: I might have considered it but only briefly. It didn't seem to really fit. And I didn't start reading until the sequel had already been out but before the third book so I knew there was much more still to happen.
