Even though I've read the whole series about 10 times. I've decided to reply to every single chapter. Just so I can go in depth a bit more, you know? So... here it goes :]

1. Did you relate to Bella right away? If so, what part of her did you identify with?
I did relate to Bella. I understand her frustration at having to move to Forks really well. I've moved, you ready for this, a total of six times in my life, changing school every single time, and across 3 countries, too. I'm about to move again this summer. But the thing is, Stephenie Meyer wrote this in the first person narative, so it felt more real to me. Sort of like a diary, but not really... I'm also incredibly shy, too.

2. What were your first impressions of Renee and Charlie?
Bella describes her mom as childlike, erratic, and hare-brained. My mom is the exact opposite. As for Charlie, he's just shy, like my dad.

3. What were your first impressions of the friends Bella meets?
What happened to her is definitely not going to happen in real life. No matter how gorgeous you might be, people still won't be that friendly, I mean, this is high school.

4. Were you scared or intrigued by Edward?
Bella really idolizes him. So, of course, I'm intrigued.

5. What did you think of Edward's odd behavior?
Let's put is simply, he wanted her blood. It was sort of obvious since he's a vampire and all.

6. Did this chapter hook you on the book or were you still trying to see what the fuss was?
I borrowed this book from the library, because it was very popular. I actually read the first chapter and returned it. Well, two weeks later I decided to try again and instantly got hooked. What can I say, teenager's minds work in strange ways. :]
you are the only one who has ever touched my heart. it will always be yours.

1. I related with her hating the rain and loving the sun. And then, a few pages later, I totally related with her, because I look pretty like Bella, and have the same clumsyness (ok, I'm not sooo clumsy) and I'm also not relating to people that well. So...
2. Renée totally reminded me of Mia's mum in Meg Cabot's "The Princess Diaries"
To be honest, I didn't really like Charlie, I thought he was a little boring
3. Embarrassingly, I liked Jessica and didn't take much notice of Angela  I liked Mike too, who was obviously fell in love with Bella, and hated average chess-club-Mike.
4. Pffh, what a question...
Intrigued, what else?
But, I have to admit, in the Cafeteria-scene, I liked Jasper much more, though, I really love reddish brown hairs. Maybe because of the word "lanky". Then, I rememberd: " The gorgeous vampire's name was Edward, wasn't it?" So, that was it with Jasper, altough I really love him too.
5. I knew he was a vampire, so i thought it was kind of normal.
6. I was hooked since the first page...

1. Did you relate to Bella right away? If so, what part of her did you identify with?
I definitely idenified with her. She was so alone at first and so awkward.

2. What were your first impressions of Renee and Charlie?
I immmediately thought Renee was a bit strange, but quickly realized she was just a typical over the top mom. Charlie...Charlie wierds me out a bit. The whole part where he still has his and Renee's wedding picture? Strange...
3. What were your first impressions of the friends Bella meets?
Shallow. A bit too friendly.
4. Were you scared or intrigued by Edward?
I was very much so intrigued. I found it so odd that he was like that with such an obvious beauty. Most guys would fall all over themselves, but he just seemed to want to get away.
5. What did you think of Edward's odd behavior?
I thought maybe she reminded him of someone. I seriously put down the book to think about it. It took me ten minutes before I finally gave up and started reading again.
6. Did this chapter hook you on the book or were you still trying to see what the fuss was?
Actually, the preface hooked me. I had to know what that was all about. But the first chapter got my heart attached. I had to know what happened with Bella and this strange guy Edward. :)

1. Did you relate to Bella right away? If so, what part of her did you identify with?

For the most part, I felt like I did. I did because of her relationship with her stand-offish/uncomfortable start with Charlie. I also am the same way she is around people, very quiet, not the one to approach, and horrible in gym.

2. What were your first impressions of Renee and Charlie?

For Charlie, I felt like he was very awkward, but that's just how their relationship is. He seemed like a good guy from the start, though, always trying to make her happy and feel comfortable in Forks. Renee I liked. She sounded like the mom I would prefer to have, a mom who needs to be taken care of and is a little out there.

3. What were your first impressions of the friends Bella meets?

Jessica I wasn't too fond of. She irritated me. Eric seemed a little awkward to me, but I liked him for just approaching Bella. Mike was cute, and I liked him for approaching Bella, as well.

4. Were you scared or intrigued by Edward?

I was much more intrigued. As soon as he was introduced in the cafeteria I wanted to know more. Even when I read the first chapter now, I still want to know more. To me, he wasn't scary at all.

5. What did you think of Edward's odd behavior?

The first time I read the book, I wondered what that was for and I was curious why he was acting so strangely. Again, I wanted to know more but the information could not come fast enough.

6. Did this chapter hook you on the book or were you still trying to see what the fuss was?[/quote]

To be honest, the first time I read this book, I didn't even notice the first chapter had ended. It had hooked me in such a way, I read the first three-hundred pages within four school hours. I couldn't put it down, and that first chapter really did help. The want to hear more about Edward made it impossible to put down.

1. Did you relate to Bella right away? If so, what part of her did you identify with?
I related to how she felt going to school, the feeling of not fitting in, of being unable to find the people you just 'click' with. I also really could identify with moving to a place that you didn't particularly want go to, a place that was a complete opposite to what you are used to. I don't blush near as easily as she does, but I certainly get my fair share of embarrassed feelings.

2. What were your first impressions of Renee and Charlie?
I really liked them both. I could tell how hard Charlie was trying and that made him very endearing to me. Even though Bella didn't seem close to him I felt as though that had more to do with the separation and their personalities than an actual lack of feeling. Renee confused me, I couldn't understand why Bella seemed so set on leaving her if she was really as nice and loving as Bella kept describing her as. I was wondering what else was going on with her that we didn't know yet.

3. What were your first impressions of the friends Bella meets?
Mike -- I hate to admit that I actually liked him when he was first introduced. Even though I was quite confident that this was going to be a Bella/Edward thing I couldn't help wondering how Mike would fit it because he did seem sweet.
Angela -- She didn't make much of an impression on me. The nice, quiet girl she almost seemed like a random character thrown into to help transition Bella from one place to another. I didn't really expect her to show up much more.
Jessica -- Ick. Wasn't a fan of hers from the first moment she appeared. I basically got the right impression from the start, annoyingly self-centered.
Eric -- OMG'geek. Which can be cute in its own way but I just didn't get the impression that that was the case here. While he won a few points for actually having the nerve to approach Bella I found myself wanting to move past him and have Bella meet the 'real' guys of the story because there was no way that Eric could be it.

4. Were you scared or intrigued by Edward?
I was intrigued -- very much so. I didn't know he was a vampire so I was at a total loss as to what was going on with him. I was just like Bella, wondering was to what was influencing his looks and action in the cafeteria and then racking my brain for the cause of his anger in Biology. You could tell from the moment he appeared thought that he would be THE guy.

5. What did you think of Edward's odd behavior?
Oh, I had no idea what to think. I had to imagine that he had heard a rumor or that he was upset with her for looking at him in the cafeteria since it seemed that nobody else looked at the Cullens. That or he had some strange phobia about girls'but that didn't seem realistic.

Did this chapter hook you on the book or were you still trying to see what all the fuss was?
I don't know that it was this chapter that necessarily hooked me'.A friend recommended the books so I was pretty much already invested in at least finishing the first one. I don't know that I made the conscious decision to continue reading, I just'did.

1. Did you relate to Bella right away? If so, what part of her did you identify with?

not with the family situation, but i love the sun, so whenever it rains im soo upset. also, i love to use sarcasm and i know what it feels like when people just dont get it.

2. What were your first impressions of Renee and Charlie?

Renee reminded me of my mom, who is always worried about me and slightly over protective
Charlie seemed like the type of dad who has no idea how to raise a kid.

3. What were your first impressions of the friends Bella meets?

I thought Jessica was a little petty, and stuff and mike seemed like your average pretty boy. I liked angela right away, cause of how nice she was.

4. Were you scared or intrigued by Edward?

intrigued!! duh! i fell in love with him from the start!

5. What did you think of Edward's odd behavior?

i was just as confused as bella! i mean here was this amazingly gorgeous guy and this pretty girl and he was acting so weird! and not just your normal, oh wow shes pretty, weird.

6. Did this chapter hook you on the book or were you still trying to see what the fuss was?

YES!! i was addicted from the start. :]

1.Mostly. My parents are still married and I have three sisters. And I'm a bit immature. Other than that I could relate to her really easily. I'm not really sure why. But she's a bookworm, too, I guess readers have like-minds.
2. Charlie seemed a little nervous. I could tell he was content with quiet and being alone. Plus, he's a dad, so he acted like one, he cares, but he still wants food and a TV. (Well, I don't know if that's normal, but my dad's in the army, so I'm used to just mom.)He didn't really know Bella too well, which made me sad because when she came for the summer he would always go on fishing trips with Billy, but they got along well I liked Renee. She was a little over protective, but she was funny and reminded me of when you watch home videos and you laugh at all of the stupid things you used to do.
3.They made me laugh. I was literally rolling on the floor with hysteria. My sister was giving me this, "I knew it. I knew she was crazy...either that or she's on drugs." (What is it with my family? I DON'T TAKE DRUGS!!! DID YOU THINK NONE OF THOSE 'DON'T DO DRUGS' LECTURES SUNK IN, WE HAD THEM AT SCHOOL,TOO,YOU KNOW!l)ook. They just reminded sooo much of my friends. And the blunt yet detailed (That probably makes no sense...) descriptions matched mostly what I thought of them. When it came to Jessica I was like...oh my gosh not only is she popular, gossip central, and egotistic, she's even short, too! Which sounds EXACTLY like one of my friends....I won't say who...
I really liked Angela, and she creeped me out at the same time. I don't know anyone that happy, or just...nice. Everyone I know is always to stressed out to think about other people... and even when their calm they're a little self-centered.
4. The book SAID he was a vampire, of course I was intrigued, plus I there was the whole rest of the book so she obviously lived through the first chapter (I swear that always spoils books, like Harry Potter, oh he can't die in this book, there are two more!, the last book was the only real suspense-making one.)
5. It made me happy...it promised a good story, and yet I was going through a billion different reasons that he would hate Bella specifically (though I knew the didn't hate her, because it's a LOVE STORY, I mean he HAD to get over it sometime.)
6. I was hooked by the time it took my friend to throw the book at me.
"I swore and threw some rocks into the water. Eventually wasn't soon enough."

1. Did you relate to Bella right away? If so, what part of her did you identify with?

Yes, but I'm a lot more crazier than her. :p
How selfconscious she was, and hasn't really experienced being noticed by a lot of people.

2. What were your first impressions of Renee and Charlie?

Bella seemed almost more like their parents, to me.

3. What were your first impressions of the friends Bella meets?

They are not really her friends, well they are, just they don't really like her, they just like that she is new, i guess.

4. Were you scared or intrigued by Edward?

Oh, I was intrigued by him.

5. What did you think of Edward's odd behavior?

I already knew he was a Vampire, so I figured it had something to do with that.

6. Did this chapter hook you on the book or were you still trying to see what the fuss was?

Of course it hooked me. :D

I like answering questions, so, here goes!

1. Did you relate to Bella right away? If so, what part of her did you identify with? Oh yes, I definitely identified with her right away. Mostly the parts that I identified with were being scared of not fitting it/not fitting in where I was before, and also, feeling responsible for taking care of Mom.

2. What were your first impressions of Renee and Charlie? I thought that Renee was a nice mother who really loved Bella, and I thought that although he wasn't able to properly express it, and was probably very nervous about her coming, Charlie also loves Bella very much and was glad to have her come down. I thought they were great people! ((I still do!))

3. What were your first impressions of the friends Bella meets? I thought they were pretty cool, Mike seemed a little annoying, but nice. I thought that everyone seemed pretty normal and kind.

4. Were you scared or intrigued by Edward? I was really intrigued by Edward, because, well, he seemed like the type of person I would have had a crush on back when I was single.

5. What did you think of Edward's odd behavior? I was really confused, because I had no idea why someone would just completely hate someone else without even speaking to them. I mean, I know you make impressions of people within the first 8 seconds of meeting them, but, the hate that he was showing? It was weird for me to try to understand.

6. Did this chapter hook you on the book or were you still trying to see what the fuss was? Honestly, I was still waiting to see what the fuss was, but at the same time, since I didn't know much about the book in the first place, and all I'd heard about it was that a lot of kids in my brothers school read it, I wanted to continue because I sort of had a feeling that I'd have my answers soon.

. Did you relate to Bella right away? If so, what part of her did you identify with?
The shock was yeah I did, because I knew how it felt to be shipped in between parents, and then for one to get remarried. Also the changing schools half way through high school was something else I knew about.

2. What were your first impressions of Renee and Charlie?

Renne seemed like someone who wasn't done with living her life, and Charlie was the small town cop, who most of the time isn't busy because hey small town. Both loving and good parents and all that too.

3. What were your first impressions of the friends Bella meets?

They are the classic high school kids. Most likely they were just amazed that there was a new kid in the town.

4. Were you scared or intrigued by Edward?
I was more intrigued by Edward then scared. You just don't see a flawless, beautiful guy everyday.

5. What did you think of Edward's odd behavior?
Of course, if a guy did that to me it would be the what the heck moment for me. It shows that he isn't just a human that most likely there is something off the books about him. And of course all that plays out later.

6. Did this chapter hook you on the book or were you still trying to see what the fuss was?
I did not buy the book because of the fuss; I read some reviews, saw that it was going to be a movie so I got the book to see if i would like it and if I went to see the movie see how they match up. But yes the chapter did hook me.
