1. We learn that Alice's visions change depending on the decisions of the person she is trying to observe. Did this surprise you at all or was this how you always thought her visions worked? And what does this say about the power of our own choices?
I kind of figured thats how they worked.. and I think it says that our lives aren't set in stone.. that we make our own choices with what we do with our lives.

2. How long do you think it took Alice and Jasper to figure out where Bella had gone? And how do you imagine Edward took the news?
Probably as soon as Bella started running.. Alice might have had a vision.. and I think Edward was really mad and hurt.

3. We learned that Alice was once a resident in a mental institution. What does this say about Alice's human family? Do you think they were justified because of the times they lived in?
I think it says that her family didn't accept anyone who wasn't 'normal' even if it was their own child.

4. James is somewhat of a performance artisit, using the mirrors to create a very effective death for Bella. What does this say about his charater or his life when he was a human?
I'm not really sure.. maybe he enjoyed seeing people hurt.

1. We learn that Alice's visions change depending on the decisions of the person she is trying to observe. Did this surprise you at all or was this how you always thought her visions worked? And what does this say about the power of our own choices?

I didn't surprise me that this was how her visions worked. We chose our own fate. If you want something badly enough, you have to make it happen.

2. How long do you think it took Alice and Jasper to figure out where Bella had gone? And how do you imagine Edward took the news?

I'm sure Alice didn't even have time for a vision before they figured out where Bella was. It was a logical choice for Bella, even if it was insanely dangerous. Edward was probably scared and angry. He probably didn't know which emotion to chose. Hmm...panic comes to mind.

3. We learned that Alice was once a resident in a mental institution. What does this say about Alice's human family? Do you think they were justified because of the times they lived in?

This says they were scared. Instead of believing Alice, trying to help her work though what was going on, they chose to protect themselves instead of her. I guess it was normal for the times, kind of reminds me of witch trials.... I guess everyone has an opinion.

4. James is somewhat of a performance artist, using the mirrors to create a very effective death for Bella. What does this say about his charater or his life when he was a human?

I think he was masochistic and a drama king. I don't think highly of James, nor do I care to imagine him human. Dead is best.

I assumed that it changed with people, because I do believe that each decision we make changes things.

2. How long to you think it took ALice and Jasper to figure out where Bella had gone? And how do you imagine Edward took the news?
I think Alice knew as soon as Bella thought about how she was going to escape, but waited for Edward and the others so they could plan. Edward was probably furious and upset at himself, because he always seems to think it's his fault.

3. We learned that Alice was once a resident in a mental institution. What does this say about Alice's human family? Do you think they were justified because of the times they lived in?
Alice's human family were probably "proper" and didn't want a "crazy" ruining their reputation. I don't think it was justified just because she was different.

4. James is somewhat of a performance artisit, using the mirrors to create a very effective death for Bella. What does this say about his charater or his life when he was a human?
I think he liked attention and to be "over the top". I think that somehow he's just trying to make up for what he didn't do in his human life and trying to show off and proving himself

1. We learn that Alice's visions change depending on the decisions of the person she is trying to observe. Did this surprise you at all or was this how you always thought her visions worked? And what does this say about the power of our own choices?
I always kind of thought that that was the way she saw things, just from how Edward described it. I think it also shows how much our choices impact what will or could happen in the future.
2. How long to you think it took ALice and Jasper to figure out where Bella had gone? And how do you imagine Edward took the news?
Probably about two seconds. I'm sure the second Bella started running, Alice saw her leaving and went after her. Edward's reaction was probably very bad. I mean, the girl you love just ran off to meet some crazy vampire bent on killing her? I bet he wasn't feeling too positive about the whole situation.
3. We learned that Alice was once a resident in a mental institution. What does this say about Alice's human family? Do you think they were justified because of the times they lived in?
Nope. You shouldn't fake your child's death because they think they see the future. I mean, I would understand if they didn't want to talk about it with all the guests, or if they tried to get her good help as opposed to locking her up and giving her shock treatments, but sending her away and acting like she died wasn't good. (In New Moon, Alice says that the date on her gravestone matches the date of her entry into the mental institution.) On the other hand, I'm sure they had no idea what they were supposed to do, and they knew their whole family would suffer if Alice's "problem" was found out.
4. James is somewhat of a performance artisit, using the mirrors to create a very effective death for Bella. What does this say about his charater or his life when he was a human?
That is a total psychopath? Maybe he was really dramatic in his human life...or maybe he was in the circus or something, ha ha. That's a funny mental image right there.

1. We learn that Alice's visions change depending on the decisions of the person she is trying to observe. Did this surprise you at all or was this how you always thought her visions worked? And what does this say about the power of our own choices?
-I thought Alice's power SHOULD work that way but I didn't know that it did. This says loads about our choices, it's kind of a chaos theory: Every little movement, every tiny decision has hand in a much bigger picture.

2. How long to you think it took ALice and Jasper to figure out where Bella had gone? And how do you imagine Edward took the news?
-I think she was probably walking into the studio when they figured it out, Alice was watching for James to do something stupid not Bella. Edward I would imagine, let it be know that he was quite perturbed and irrate, but with little wasted actions or words time was of great importance.

3. We learned that Alice was once a resident in a mental institution. What does this say about Alice's human family? Do you think they were justified because of the times they lived in?
-It says that they were probably well off with a reputation to protect, but of course it doesn't justify anything. You should always be intelligent and moral enough to stand up for what is right, reguardless if wrong is a commonly accepted course of action during that time. But all of us are guilty of such things at some point, even those of us who strive to be "above". Only human

4. James is somewhat of a performance artisit, using the mirrors to create a very effective death for Bella. What does this say about his charater or his life when he was a human?
-He was probably an actor or worked in some other creative media.

1. We learn that Alice's visions change depending on the decisions of the person she is trying to observe. Did this surprise you at all or was this how you always thought her visions worked? And what does this say about the power of our own choices?
I think that I figured it out a little bit, Alice's visions changed and sometimes they were the same with a slight variation.
I think that we each create our own destiny, we were given free choice and the right to use it, everything in our future depend on the decisions we make now. It's like the butterfly effect. I have had many a thought on how thing could have changed if I had made a different decision. I try not to dwell on the past because you can't change something that's already happened. So to me Alice's visions changing with the individuals choices makes perfect sense.

2. How long to you think it took Alice and Jasper to figure out where Bella had gone? And how do you imagine Edward took the news?

I think Alice probably saw Bella's decision as soon as she made it, but she couldn't move fast enough in a crowd that dense to do anything about it. That was the genius of Bella's plan. The airport was packed and one vamp move would have given them away.
I think Edward was more than likely devastated, I'm sure Alice and Carlisle had their hands full trying to keep him from literally flying out of the airport. I'm sure the had to keep at human pace whilst in the public eye which would have been very difficult for all those involved. I can only imagine the pained expression he was wearing on that handsome face of his. It was probably torturous.

3. We learned that Alice was once a resident in a mental institution. What does this say about Alice's human family? Do you think they were justified because of the times they lived in?
No I don't think anything justifies giving up on your child. I think that they wanted to make life easier on themselves and their decision got her mortality stolen from her. I'm sure she isn't as bitter though she has a good heart and I think she's happy where she is.

4. James is somewhat of a performance artist, using the mirrors to create a very effective death for Bella. What does this say about his character or his life when he was a human?
I would say he was an exhibitionist, I'm sure when he was human he loved being the center of attention. He probably lived in a drama bubble and regularly threw pity parties.
I would also say he held himself in high regard, he thought that getting Bella was "Easy" he was probably bored with the whole thing. ** Sorry didn't like James much!! **

1. We learn that Alice's visions change depending on the decisions of the person she is trying to observe. Did this surprise you at all or was this how you always thought her visions worked? And what does this say about the power of our own choices?

This surprised me since I thought that Alice's visions were pretty much rock solid. I think this states that we should really think about our own choices and the consequences of them before reacting since they can change in seconds from one thing to another.

2. How long to you think it took ALice and Jasper to figure out where Bella had gone? And how do you imagine Edward took the news?

I think Alice and Jasper probably figured it out pretty quick but obviously not quick enough to stop Bella. Jasper probably figured it out when she didn't come out of the bathroom in a minute or so and Alice probably saw Bella deciding to do it way before Jasper realized it. They probably were seconds away from catching Bella. Also, I think that Edward probably saw the looks on jasper and alice's faces when he met them and read their thoughts. He probably froze for a second and then tried to find Bella or else listened to their explanations. I don't know how patient he was when he found out so I'm anticipating Midnight Sun :)

3. We learned that Alice was once a resident in a mental institution. What does this say about Alice's human family? Do you think they were justified because of the times they lived in?

I think this says that Alice's family wasn't very supportive of her and they basically just assumed she was crazy rather than listen to what she had to say. It's probably better that Alice doesn't remember her human life because that would probably bring her a lot of pain to think of her family and how they treated her. I think this also says that in this time period you were classified as mental just because you saw visions or heard voices in your head that other people were thinking. Instead of thinking that these people had special talents, they acted as if they were psycho and should be locked up.

4. James is somewhat of a performance artisit, using the mirrors to create a very effective death for Bella. What does this say about his charater or his life when he was a human?

I believe that this says that James liked to be the center of attention and he enjoyed causing others pain. Or, maybe he was treated badly and now seeks revenge on the innocent for what he had to endure. Either way this shows that James had a messed-up human existence and as a vampire he was probably just trying to avenge what had happened to him.

Yes. Her visions is worked. But Bella change the decicion, so all changes.

2. How long to you think it took ALice and Jasper to figure out where Bella had gone? And how do you imagine Edward took the news?
about 5 minutes i think. Edward must be very angry and search for her as soon as possible.

3. We learned that Alice was once a resident in a mental institution. What does this say about Alice's human family? Do you think they were justified because of the times they lived in?
I dont think that they were justified.

He's very horrible. I hate james. He want Bella die then he suck her blood after it. Its completely sadist! [/b]

1. We learn that Alice's visions change depending on the decisions of the person she is trying to observe. Did this surprise you at all or was this how you always thought her visions worked? And what does this say about the power of our own choices?

At first I did think of it similar to fortune telling and that it was set in stone and no matter what you did, your future will be that so I liked that her visions depend on people's choices more than anything else. This is sort of a Harry Potter reference but Dumbledore tells Harry that "It is our choices that determine who we really are" and in the same way it is our choices that determine our future and nothing else but that.

2. How long to you think it took ALice and Jasper to figure out where Bella had gone? And how do you imagine Edward took the news?

I would imagine about 5 mintues or so. At that point, Jasper would run back to Alice and tell her that she hasn't come out and then Edward would scan people's mind and see what they saw and they would have as humanly as possible try to get to the dance studio (as in no running super fast through people). I see Edward flipping out insanely when he realizes what happened he may have let out a few unnice words to Alice and Jasper but then started toward the dance studio.

3. We learned that Alice was once a resident in a mental institution. What does this say about Alice's human family? Do you think they were justified because of the times they lived in?

It showed that her family wasn't very supportive and that Alice is very fortunate to have found Calisle and all the other Cullens. I don't like that they just left her there without really trying to help her. But then again mentioning about the times, that tended to be what happened to anyone that was abnormal. Not that it justifies it but she was a teenager when she was turned so we don't know how long her family tried to deal with their daughter's situation. If that's the case, we also don't know if her family didn't have enough money to support her so they had to do that otherwise she would have died or hurt someone. I don't think that those reasons justify it but I can see the other side.

4. James is somewhat of a performance artisit, using the mirrors to create a very effective death for Bella. What does this say about his charater or his life when he was a human?

He may have been a struggling artist from the Renaissance or around that time period and took a bitter spin on things becasue life wasn't treating him the way he wanted. So he becomes a bit of a sadist in his human life but looking at it as art or a performance and not as murder or pain.
Here, there, and everywhere...that's where you'll find me.

1. We learn that Alice's visions change depending on the decisions of the person she is trying to observe. Did this surprise you at all or was this how you always thought her visions worked? And what does this say about the power of our own choices?
I kindof thought it must be something like that. I personally dont believe that the future is set in stone, so I didn't think there was really any way Alice could see the future perfectly because she can't control other peoples actions. I think it says that over all people have the power to decide their own future though the choices they make.

2. How long to you think it took ALice and Jasper to figure out where Bella had gone? And how do you imagine Edward took the news?
I would bet that since Alice was so "tuned in" to Bella, it only took her a few seconds to realize where she had gone. I'm sure that Edward was filled with grief, anger and frustration toward himself when he realized what danger Bella was in, and I'm sure he blamed her being in danger entirely on himself.

3. We learned that Alice was once a resident in a mental institution. What does this say about Alice's human family? Do you think they were justified because of the times they lived in?
I have learned that a lot of people were put in institutions during that time period, not because they needed it, but because there was something about them that noone understood. I bet Alice had some sense of the future, and her family mistook that for being crazy. I dont blame her family for it, after all, it is what anyone else at the time would have done, and I'm sure they thought they were doing it for her own good.

4. James is somewhat of a performance artisit, using the mirrors to create a very effective death for Bella. What does this say about his charater or his life when he was a human?

This question is harder for me. I believe in a past life James had little concern for human life, which is what makes it possible for him to be such a monster even in vampire form.
