1. Bella is surprised and touched that Charlie put snow chains on her truck because she isn't used to people taking care of her. Later on we know that Renee called Bella hysterical to have her come home yet Renee wasn't in Phoenix. Given all of this what were your impressions of Renee?

I thought she was being selfish and ridiculous. Selfish because Renee is so used to having Bella around and I think that she wants to keep Bella to herself. Also if Bella isnt used to people taking care of her then that means that Renee didn't take care of Bella. (I do not mean that in the sense that she didn't feed/clothe Bella)

2. The accident is the first great action scene in the book. Did you get all the details right in your head the first time, or did you realize you missed finer points when Bella thinks about the accident later?

Nope I had a friend spoil it for me so I pretty much knew what went on..

3. What did you think about Charlie's response to the accident?

I thought it was a normal parental reaction. Parents worry about their kids as they should.

4. This is the first time we meet Carlilse. What were your first impressions?

At first he just seemed like a normal doctor, Except for him being beautiful. Also he seemed to be in on the 'secret'

5. Did Edward's cool and even sarcastic comments regarding the accident intrigue you or frighten you?

They intrugued me. I wanted to know more about him after that. Like how he could be so sarcastic and everything.

It made me think that Renee cares about Bella in a motherly way, but at the same time she was more of like an aunt or something.

I got what I read.

Charlie was just being a dad and was worried about Bella.

I think Renee is a little flighty. You can tell that she genuinely cares about Bella, but it seems that she wants her around for a more selfish reason.

I think that I did pretty well with the details the first time around.

3. What did you think about Charlie's response to the accident?
I liked Charlie's response to the accident. It is a typical Dad reaction.

1. I thought Renee seemed very concerned with Bella's safety and that maybe she wasn't comfortable with trusting her with Charlie.

2. I thought I caught everything I needed to.

3. Charlie was kind of overreacting, but in a good way.

4. He seemed a little cryptic, like Edward, but I liked him regardless.

5. It intrigued me.

I thought Renee was more like a friend figure than a Mother.

1. Bella is surprised and touched that Charlie put snow chains on her truck because she isn't used to people taking care of her. Later on we know that Renee called Bella hysterical to have her come home yet Renee wasn't in Phoenix. Given all of this what were your impressions of Renee? I thought Charlie was really sweet, in a sneaky kind of way. Haha. And I thought Renee was being very caring, and of course, she was being Renee; Bella seems so much more calm at times, compared to her mum. I don't really think I put much thought into Renee at this point... I just thought she was acting like any real mother would; hysterical and concerned; though, can you blame her? Her daughter was almost squished by a van, in a school parking lot!

2. The accident is the first great action scene in the book. Did you get all the details right in your head the first time, or did you realize you missed finer points when Bella thinks about the accident later? I'm pretty sure, if I recall correctly, that I reread it at least twice. Haha, as to make sure I didn't miss anything; it really did all happen so fast! And it definitely wasn't in slow motion, like in the movies, even with my rereading. I probably missed some things, though... I can't remember exactly.

3. What did you think about Charlie's response to the accident? I thought he was being Charlie, really. He was concerned, but he realized that Bella didn't want all of the attention on her, so it was nice of him to get her out of the hospital as soon as he possibly could. Though, I can sympathize with Bella, when he kept checking up on her, all throughout the night; I must admit, that might get a tad annoying, especially if I were trying to sleep, but he was only doing it out of love.

4. This is the first time we meet Carlilse. What were your first impressions? OHMYDEARGOODNESS; this man is incredibly gorgeous. And he's young, and Edward's dad; how cool! He's so nice, too! I love him. :D That about sums it up, I think, haha.

5. Did Edward's cool and even sarcastic comments regarding the accident intrigue you or frighten you? He didn't really frighten me, it's just amazing how fast him and Bella can get irritated with one another. I really wanted to know how he was going to explain himself, but I felt sort of bad for Bella, too... he just sort of left her hanging there, and I thought he was getting a little harsh when he snapped back at her, "I saved your life. I don't owe you anything." Ah, Edward<3

that she should prob stop and think a little more before acting, but other than that she sounded like a typical mum

2. The accident is the first great action scene in the book. Did you get all the details right in your head the first time, or did you realize you missed finer points when Bella thinks about the accident later?

no, it pretty much sat nicly in place first time round.

3. What did you think about Charlie's response to the accident?

completley normal for a parent. of course he was going to be worried, and tell her mum.

4. This is the first time we meet Carlilse. What were your first impressions?

why isn't my doctor like that?

5. Did Edward's cool and even sarcastic comments regarding the accident intrigue you or frighten you?

typical man. but as he was trying to protect his families secret it is understandable.

I generally don't like needy people, which then equals not likely Renee. I know that she is concerned and whatnot, but she is also considerably self-centered, which shows in how she has raised Bella if she's not used to be taken care of.
2. The accident is the first great action scene in the book. Did you get all the details right in your head the first time, or did you realize you missed finer points when Bella thinks about the accident later?
Lol, I did have to read the scene a couple times.
3. What did you think about Charlie's response to the accident?
I was to busy wondering about Edward and what happened with the accident to notice or at least remember a reaction from Charlie ...
4. This is the first time we meet Carlilse. What were your first impressions?
Sweetheart
5. Did Edward's cool and even sarcastic comments regarding the accident intrigue you or frighten you?
Intrigued me further sense his behavior towards Bella has been strange from the beginning. It was nice to see a bit more of a personality from him, even if it wasn't attractive.

I thought that even though she wasn't that great of a mother, she did genuinely care about Bella.

2. The accident is the first great action scene in the book. Did you get all the details right in your head the first time, or did you realize you missed finer points when Bella thinks about the accident later?
I actually reread the scene a few times, and Bella clarified for me :D

3. What did you think about Charlie's response to the accident?
Natural, father-type reaction. What would you think if you say your daughter on a stretcher? I do think he was right to call Renee though.

4. This is the first time we meet Carlilse. What were your first impressions?
Gorgeous :D And mostly compassionate (especially when he wouldn't let Bella fall), although I was un-nerved when he glanced down at his papers when she mentioned Edward.
5. Did Edward's cool and even sarcastic comments regarding the accident intrigue you or frighten you?

1. I could tell that Renee really loved Bella, she's just bad at parenting.
2. There was definitely a lot going on, I had to read it over a couple of times before I got the sequence of events down
3. I was surprised that he was so....parental. He seemed more distant before.
4. I actually didn't really care about Carlisle the first time through (I don't know what I was thinking either...I think I was too dazzled to think straight  )
5. Hmm...now that I'm flashing back, I think Edward has never failed to intrigue me. Yes, that was definitely what made me first fall in love with him *sigh* :D
