1. What do you think of Billy's conversation with Bella and her response?
I was surprised that Billy was so'open about it. If Bella didn't know exactly what Edward was at this point Billy's conversation would certainly have encouraged her to continue looking. I could completely understand his concern and don't blame him at all for wanting to try and warn/protect her. Bella's response made me smile, she was so defense of her blooming relationship! Standing by her man.

2. Did you approve of the way Charlie treated Edward as the first boyfriend Bella ever brought home?
If anything I thought he went a little light on Edward. Of course that could just be my own experience with my dad making me biased. But will a (normal) human's natural aversion to Edward as well as a dad's dislike of a first boyfriend I honestly expected Charlie to be much worse.

3. Edward talks about his inner turmoil regarding constantly putting Bella into danger. Do you think he is too hard on himself?
I don't think he is too hard on himself because when you are in love you want to protect the other person at any cost. Unfortunately for Edward that cost happens to be not having his love. And so he stays, keeping her near what is essentially a perfect human killing machine.

4. Edward finally says "I love you". Were you disappointed in how it came out almost off-handedly?
I was somewhat disappointed. Edward is so romantic that I was hoping that when he said it, it would be in some spectacularly romantic way. This was almost more realistic though, as if he had been thinking it in his head for awhile and it just slipped out so normally because he'd been saying it to her in his head for ages.

5. We learn more about Esme, was your impression of her changed after learning more about her?
My impression didn't change so much as grow. I saw her will a lot more compassion, more love that before. She became more of a 3-D character for me, I began to see her influence on Edward and how she was almost helping to keep him together until Bella arrived.

1 I didn't know much about how Billy interacted with Bella. I wasn't really sure if he was prying more than normal.

2 Charlie didn't seem to like the Cullens as much when they were with his daughter. But, other than that he acted like a father. It was kind of funny.

3 I don't really know. Nobody knows exactly how hard it is for him (except for maybe Aro, but I don't think he could explain it as well as Edward.)

4 Was it offhand? I didn't notice. I was just happy that he finally said it, because I had noticed that he hadn't.

5 Not really, she acted like a mom, a bit more calm than mine, but she doesn't have to deal with them in the form of 17, 13, 9, and 4 year old girls (humans, none the less, who have only been this age once), which I guess is the cause of my mother's near insanity (you didn't hear that from me)

1) What did you think of Billy's conversation with Bella and her response?
Hm... I thought it was fairly civil. And I was surprised that Billy left. I figured he would stay until Charlie got home! I thought he was somewhat concerned, but I couldn't figure out why he cared what happened to Bella. Maybe he cared more about the vampires killing someone rather than Bella specifically? I don't know. Hrmph.

2) Did you approve of the way Charlie treated Edward as the first boyfriend Bella ever brought home?

Haahaha, it was hysterical! Too perfect for words, I have to assume that was partially autobiographical. I thought Charlie handled it well too!

3) Edward talks about his inner turmoil regarding constantly putting Bella into danger. Do you think he is to hard on himself?

Yes, but not in the way you might think. I think he is a selfish person, I believe his motivation for feeling bad is that he would be devastated if Bella were harmed. He really doesn't think about her too much. He would be crushed if she were harmed, I don't see him getting all upset about her actually (potentially) being harmed.

4) Edward finally says "I love you". Were you disappointed in how it came out almost off-handedly.
No, that's how it should be. Telling someone you love them shouldn't be a huge production, it should be something you just say. It seems more important that way, rather than working yourself up for saying three little words.

5) We learn more about Esme, was your impression of her changed after learning more about her?
Not really. She reminds me of my own mom, she wants her children to be happy, no matter what, above all else. She is a true 'mother'-figure.

1) What did you think of Billy's convesation with Bella and her response?
I think that Billy is trying to be a good friend to Charlie and let him know of the danger he thinks Bella is in. I do think that he crossing the line a bit though. I think Bella has the right to be a bit upset with Billy for trying to butt in, but I do not know if I would have been so forward with him as she was.

2) Did you approve of the way Charlie treated Edward as the first boyfriend Bella ever brought home?
I do, my parents would act the same way. I think he was a little lax compared to my parents.

3) Edward talks about his inner turmoil regarding constantly putting Bella into danger. Do you think he is to hard on himself?
I think so. Bella knows what she is getting into, so if anything goes wrong it is also her fault.

4) Edward finally says "I love you". Were you disappointed in how it came out almost off-handedly.
No. He has said things that has alluded to it, so you knew it was going to happen eventually. I think the way it was perfect. There was no hype about it and it came out naturally the way it should be said.

5) We learn more about Esme, was your impression of her changed after learning more about her?
No, not at all. I couldn't imagine the feeling one would go through with the loss of a child. Since she does not have any of her own, I think the way she cares for the Cullen clan shows how maternal she is and how happy it makes her. I love Esme.

1. I understood why Billy said what he did, but I just thought it was really annoying of him. It is none if his business, even if he is just concerned. I liked Bellas responses.

2. I was suprised that Charlie didn't like, interrogate Edward. But it makes sense considering Charlie already knew Edward was a good kid and trusted Carlisle and his family.

3. Yeah, I think he is. But if the situation were reversed, I could easily see Bella reacting in the same way.

4. Yeah, I kind of was disappointed.

5. No, not really.
