1) What did you think of Billy's conversation with Bella and her response?

I think Bella appreciated that Billy was concerned about her safety (and probably Charlie's) but she thought she knew what she was getting into. I think Bella had to be slightly rude to Billy to get her point across. She's a big girl, she can handle herself. So far, the Cullen's haven't hurt anyone, so what's the harm?

2) Did you approve of the way Charlie treated Edward as the first boyfriend Bella ever brought home?

Charlie was awesome! He acted appropriately to the situation and I think he made that first meeting very comfortable.

3) Edward talks about his inner turmoil regarding constantly putting Bella into danger. Do you think he is to hard on himself?

He is a little hard on himself, but I think he's trying to make Bella understand how difficult it is for him. I'm sure she knows he's trying not to kill her himself, but I don't think she realizes what else is out there.

4) Edward finally says "I love you". Were you disappointed in how it came out almost off-handedly.

No, I loved that. That's how I'd want it to be, I'm not much of an emotional type. She already knew he loved her, actions speak louder than words.

5) We learn more about Esme, was your impression of her changed after learning more about her?

I always thought she was great, and learning more about her just strengthened that. She's the kind of mother in law every girl wishes for

1) What did you think of Billy's conversation with Bella and her response?

Hmm. Well, Charlie is his best friend, but I'd still have to say he had no right to get involved, just like Edward and Jacob have no right to tell bella who she may and may not be around. It's all prejudice. There are bad vampires and good vampires, and as the legends later reveal, good and bad werewolves. There just happens to be more vampires than werewolves, but I'll bet the percentages are about even.
I love her response, it was kind of like the conversation was more him asking if she knew the truth and her saying "yes I do, and that's just fine with me thank you very much."

2) Did you approve of the way Charlie treated Edward as the first boyfriend Bella ever brought home?

Yes. I think Charlie is very confused with 99.99% of this whole parenting thing. He wants to do a good job, but he doesnt really have the knowledge or experience. The .01% that he does have? Instinct. He's obviously associated himself with the roll of protector, hence the badge, so that's the one thing he really totally and absolutely knows how to do! He knows how to use it and he obviously knows how to control it because he was actually a lot nicer to Edward than most dads are.

3) Edward talks about his inner turmoil regarding constantly putting Bella into danger. Do you think he is to hard on himself?

Well, he has good reason, as was said before, both he and Bella need to keep in mind the limitations presented by his condition. But, honestly, since when is Edward NOT too hard on himself.

4) Edward finally says "I love you". Were you disappointed in how it came out almost off-handedly.

NO! nonono absolutely not! He said it that way because it was just so obvious and natural. He said it that way because it flowed from his lips as if he'd been saying it for a hundred years. He loves her, it's just such a given, he doesn't even notice that he's never said it before out loud.

5) We learn more about Esme, was your impression of her changed after learning more about her?

Yes, it changed my impression of her very much. I love her a thousand times more than I used to.

1) What did you think of Billy's conversation with Bella and her response?
I think he was playing a dangerous game, if she had no idea of what they were he could have easily made it into a sticky situation. I know that he was trying to protect her but seeing as she made it quite obvious that she knew exactly what he was taking about, he should have the foresight to let her make her own decisions. I also think it was a little ignorant of him to even threaten to tell Charlie, this could have caused a huge conflict and made it very dangerous for Charlie!

2) Did you approve of the way Charlie treated Edward as the first boyfriend Bella ever brought home?
I think he handled himself pretty well, he asked all the right questions and he was polite. I don't think Bella could have asked for a better first meeting. They even joked playfully.

3) Edward talks about his inner turmoil regarding constantly putting Bella into danger. Do you think he is to hard on himself?
I think he is a little too hard on himself, He knows that she is in danger but he should realize that he is the one person who can keep her safe.
I think he feels so badly because he loves her so completely, he realizes he doesn't want to live without her, so he has an inner conflict that is so complex we can only imagine mixture of emotions he constantly feels.

4) Edward finally says "I love you". Were you disappointed in how it came out almost off-handedly.
No I think it was perfect, I think it was them.

5) We learn more about Esme, was your impression of her changed after learning more about her?
I had a lot more respect for her, she was completely open towards Bella, her story was a little shocking but i think it explained her life as a vampire and when she constantly wants her children around her. She had a void in her life that thankfully a lot of us will never endure, it makes me like her more because it explains her humanity.

1) What did you think of Billy's convesation with Bella and her response?

I thought he was walking a very fine line. He knows of the dangers that the Cullens pose but he technically can't say anything about it because he would break the treaty. I liked Bella's response that she knows what she's doing without actually saying anything herself.

2) Did you approve of the way Charlie treated Edward as the first boyfriend Bella ever brought home?

I think he handled the situation very well. He didn't attempt to kill Edward and didn't overreact (at least not aloud I'm sure his mind was going a million miles an hour). He was very cool with it and yet concerned with Bella's safety.

3) Edward talks about his inner turmoil regarding constantly putting Bella into danger. Do you think he is to hard on himself?

Maybe just a little bit but it all seems reasonable. He really can kill her at any moment with just a tiny slip up. It isn't like they are in the public eye alot, they tend to be alone on dates or spending time with one another, essentially very opportune moments.

4) Edward finally says "I love you". Were you disappointed in how it came out almost off-handedly.

No. I think the fact that it was off-handedly showed how much he thought about it that it just came out that way. He doesn't have to think about it and that it comes to him with ease.

5) We learn more about Esme, was your impression of her changed after learning more about her?

I liked her more afterwards. The love that she has really is wonderful and she epitomizes maternal love.
Here, there, and everywhere...that's where you'll find me.

1) What did you think of Billy's convesation with Bella and her response?
-i thought it was to be expected, since billy knows and believes about vampires, he knows his son likes bella, and bella is his best friend's daughter, of course he wants to warn her. but since bella knows what she's getting into, then her replies were just as expected as well. she was actually very nice about it. :D

2) Did you approve of the way Charlie treated Edward as the first boyfriend Bella ever brought home?
-charlie was more cooler than the normal dads. he didn't go wacko crazy or anything, just said some normal fatherly stuff like "take care of my daughter" and "bring her home early". it was cool, wish my dad was like that.

3) Edward talks about his inner turmoil regarding constantly putting Bella into danger. Do you think he is to hard on himself?
-yup he is. but in a way he's got a point. with all his effort to keep bella safe, he still happens to choose to do the exact things that put her in danger more. he means well but his choices leave a lot to be desired! i love edward, but he overthinks stuff too much. 8)

4) Edward finally says "I love you". Were you disappointed in how it came out almost off-handedly.
-nope. i was THRILLED!!! it was such a sweet moment for me, and i loved hearing him say it as much as bella did. :D and i don't think that it came off off-handedly. :P

5) We learn more about Esme, was your impression of her changed after learning more about her?
-it made sense that losing a child would make mama esme suicidal. she's such a mother-type that i totally understand where she's coming from. :D

1) What did you think of Billy's convesation with Bella and her response?
it annoyed me that Billy wouldn't just leave her alone, but then again why would you not try to warn someone about a vampire? and he was just trying to help or protect Bella too

2) Did you approve of the way Charlie treated Edward as the first boyfriend Bella ever brought home?
yeah i think he did a nice job

he's way too hard on himself he should just stop worrying about that and just worry about loving Bella

4) Edward finally says "I love you". Were you disappointed in how it came out almost off-handedly.
NO i loved it!!

1) What did you think of Billy's convesation with Bella and her response?

A: You don't tell independent people what do. That's rule number 1. Rule number two: never assume you think you know what another person does or doesn't know and don't assume you know better.

2) Did you approve of the way Charlie treated Edward as the first boyfriend Bella ever brought home?

A: Yes. He's a dad who's woefully inexperienced at being one. He's fine.

3) Edward talks about his inner turmoil regarding constantly putting Bella into danger. Do you think he is too hard on himself?

A: Maybe, but it's unlikely to change. He loves her too much.

4) Edward finally says "I love you". Were you disappointed in how it came out almost off-handedly.

A: Nope. It was perfect. As their moments together always are. :D

5) We learn more about Esme, was your impression of her changed after learning more about her?

A: Quite. I never expected the truth but at the same time she loves so much and so deeply that I can see now how she might be driven to such a point.

1) What did you think of Billy's convesation with Bella and her response?

Plain and simple: Billy needs to mind his own business!

2) Did you approve of the way Charlie treated Edward as the first boyfriend Bella ever brought home?

Charlie reacted fine, probably the same way as many dads would with daughters who got their first boyfriend.

3) Edward talks about his inner turmoil regarding constantly putting Bella into danger. Do you think he is to hard on himself?

Yes. Edward is ridiculous. It sucks that Midnight Sun isn't coming out for a longlonglong time because we never know what he's really thinking and how hard he really is being on himself.

4) Edward finally says "I love you". Were you disappointed in how it came out almost off-handedly.

No. It came out. That's all that matters.

5) We learn more about Esme, was your impression of her changed after learning more about her?[/quote]

Not really. I just pittied her abit. It's horrible to lose something that you wanted so bad and that you were so happy about getting. I felt so bad for her.
