The chapter is entitled "confessions". What do you think the most meaningful confession on Bella's part, and what is the most meaningful confession on Edward's part?
The chapter is filled with many meaningful confessions. It's probably one of my favorite chapters. I believe Bella explains how she would rather die than not be with him. For Edward, I think his "brand of heroin" statement (as you can tell by my screen name, I really love this statement) is very meaningful and his explanation of the first day of school when he first smelled her.

The subject of humanity and what is means to be truly human constantly comes up. How do is the humanity of Bella and Edward best displayed in this chapter?
The beauty of love. How Edward is going to extreme heights to be with Bella. That's very human..

This is the chapter where we really see a romance blooming between Edward and Bella. What was the most romantic moment for you?
The entire chapter was very romantic. How he showed her what happened when he was in the sunlight, how they first kissed, how he confessed to her about her luring scent.. EVERYTHING. :)

IMPORTANT CONFESSIONS:
I think that the most important confession on Edward's behalf is telling Bella that she is "exactly my brand of heroin." She finds out just how hard this all is on him. I also think that him telling her that he loves her is important, DUH! But for Bella, I'd say that...hmm...toughie...that she's pretty much a suicidal lover. She'd rather die than be apart from him.

HUMANITY:
I'd say that the fain awkwardness that they have with each other is very human. Also the pure stupidity and beauty of their relationship; very human.

ROMANCE:
When he said that famous line, "and so the lion fell in love with the lamb..." and then the first kiss and then how he describes how badly he is trying to be with her when his true nature is trying to force them apart.

How can you destroy destiny? You cannot. Destiny must destroy you in order to shatter your own destiny.

The chapter is entitled "confessions". What do you think the most meaningful confession on Bella's part, and what is the most meaningful confession on Edward's part?
Edward telling her what he felt that first day in biology class and Bella admitting that she was prepared to risk her life to be with him

The subject of humanity and what is means to be truly human constantly comes up. How do is the humanity of Bella and Edward best displayed in this chapter?
Bella's reactions to the things Edward did in the meadow..and Edward, towards the end, wanting to show off a bit by showing Bella how he "goes through the forest".

This is the chapter where we really see a romance blooming between Edward and Bella. What was the most romantic moment for you?
Edward listening to Bella's heartbeat..::sigh" so romantic!

Okis really i didnt like the whole way edward acted in this chapter... even though it got everything out in the open.. it was totally out of charactor. and then for him suddenly to be back in charactor, it just didnt fit the book. i think.... but it did break down the walls between them.. so i guess it wasnt all that bad..

yea sorry i know im not folowing suit with anwsering the questions but i think they are very hard questions to answer... i tend to pyscoanalize everything and take the questions too litterally....

I think that Bella's most meaningful confession is that of her fear. She's semi-afraid of her choice to be with him, even after he's told her countless times that he's dangerous.
Edward's most meaningful confession is when he explains to Bella how he thirsts for her blood... and it's romantic how he overcomes it.

The humanity of Edward is best displayed in this chapter when he realises that his emotions are very much human. For Bella, it is also when her emotions take over and she throws herself at him for a deeper kiss. *grins* That part amused me.

The most romantic moment for me... was when Edward was listening to her heart. I shan't go into why.

Biggest Confession:
Edward: His biggest confession would be how exactly he feels about Bella. He says that he would rather leave her than anything bad happening to her. It takes a lot of heart out of someone to leave someone they love. It hurts really badly.
Bella: Her biggest confession would have to be how she says that she would rather die than be without him. For someone who is as young as she is, that is a BIG commitment. "You aren't having commitment problems are you?" LOL...

Humanity:
Edward: When he admits that he was jealous when Mike sort of asked Bella to the dance. That is one of the biggest and most prevalent emotions known to the human race, and here a immortal is confessing this, even though he could have anything that he ever wanted.

Romance:
I would have to agree with Sprinter on this one. When Bella lays her head on Edwards chest and says "This is enough"...man. What an almost sublime moment.

The chapter is entitled "confessions". What do you think the most meaningful confession on Bella's part, and what is the most meaningful confession on Edward's part?
I think the biggest confession for Edward is his exact feelings for Bella. Up until this point, we had clues that he felt for her, but for him to say so, and say how much, that was a lot for him.
As far as Bella is concerning, I think her biggest confession is how deep her feelings are for Edward. Of course, we all know she loves him, but for her to say she would rather not be alive than live without him, that shows just how much she has come to rely on him being with her.

The subject of humanity and what is means to be truly human constantly comes up. How do is the humanity of Bella and Edward best displayed in this chapter?
Edward shows his humanity best by allowing Bella to touch him and to be physically close to him. He also tells her how he feels, displaying very real human emotions.
Bella shows her humanity by being Bella. She tells Edward everything he wants to know, and more, and continues to be unsure of herself the whole time.

This is the chapter where we really see a romance blooming between Edward and Bella. What was the most romantic moment for you?
It's hard to decide! The whole chapter was SO romantic! I think I'd have to say when Edward says, "And so the lion fell in love with the lamb..." It's the first time he openly confesses how deep his feelings for Bella are.

The chapter is entitled "confessions". What do you think the most meaningful confession on Bella's part, and what is the most meaningful confession on Edward's part?
I think Bella's most meaningful confession is that she loves him and would rather die than be without him, maybe. Edward's on the other hand, has to do with his feelings, and also how he can finally be himself around her. I think his actions are a confession in themselves.

The subject of humanity and what is means to be truly human constantly comes up. How do is the humanity of Bella and Edward best displayed in this chapter?
Edward's jealousy, definitely. That was so cute...! Bella's... well, when she leans into him when she smells his breath, I think that's her humanity is best displayed. She can't resist such a sweet and tempting smell.

This is the chapter where we really see a romance blooming between Edward and Bella. What was the most romantic moment for you?
Oh, tough one... I think the way they keep dancing around the word "love" all the time. They never say it directly, but it's there. This means that I can't really choose one moment, but one thing I guess, that colors their entire day together. I think that is romantic.

The chapter is entitled "confessions". What do you think the most meaningful confession on Bella's part, and what is the most meaningful confession on Edward's part?
Bella's most meaningful confession was admitting that she rather die than stay away from him.
I think this chapter is all Edward's confessions though. The more meaningful ones were when he displays his vampire abilities, so Bella can finally see what he truly is and not what she imagines him to be; when he said she was the most important person to him now; and when he admits his desire for her.

The subject of humanity and what is means to be truly human constantly comes up. How do is the humanity of Bella and Edward best displayed in this chapter?
Bella stroking Edward's skin and seeing the veins; Bella watching Edward's hair blow in the wind as he listens to her heart beat; when Bella is tracing the features of his face; when they confess their desire for each other

This is the chapter where we really see a romance blooming between Edward and Bella. What was the most romantic moment for you?
When he kisses her for the first time. WOW! If all our first kisses could be like that one. *sigh*
