Happy birthday Edward! Even though another year "alive" (excuse me) has probably not made a difference to you, it's nice for we humans to celebrate these little milestones. :D So have a great birthday, with much love from us all! xxx

My bet: One of the Cullens dies. (And by that I mean "stops functioning".) ;)

My loser line: Who'd want to be in Team Switzerland? It's obvious the real keepers are down in Italy -- especially that sweetie-pie Alec ...

Me, too -- one of the big problems I've had with the whole Jacob-as-a-soulmate storyline (and I have several) is that Jake ISN'T a true "human" option and choosing him would not be necessarily the happily-ever-after option that it's made out to be ... I honestly cringe at that designation for Jacob...

I can see Bella absolving herself after a slip, not necessarily that I believe that she would be deserving of some kind of divine absolution having made the choice to be a vampire herself. No, no, I was continuing the point about Bella always putting others first (just in a very unclear fashion, so...

In contrast, I don't think Bella can really be absolved (I meant "absolve herself", so let me edit this to prevent misunderstanding). I agree, TL1, that having secured the support of the Cullens she can breathe easier, but she's got past them before with naught but her human wits. It's a big risk to...

Welcome back, T1GR355! Wow, you remembered! I feel special. :D Anyhoo, onto your last paragraph of questions. Here is my mental list of Reasons Why Edward Had His Rebellious Period, whether Stephenie intended them or not: 1. Like rapidreader said, it hammers home to Bella and everyone else the poin...

1 . Who did you believe the unknown threat against Bella to be? At first, I thought it was Laurent. I always thought that he walked away far too easily for a REV at the end of Twilight, and I figured that he'd come back at some point after being denied Bella in New Moon. Then I realised that it was...

But I have said before (many, many pages back--somewhere) that I believe that the Cullen's all came to this life with something more. That's interesting. Perhaps -- though this might be a long shot -- this is the reason that they were chosen. We were told by some character at some point during the ...

British Kids do read. It's just we read all the same things, and the kids who do read other things don't tell their friends because they don't thingthey will understand them. Cue the Twilight Street Team UK ... Spreading the human, vampiric & lupine love. :D I wish Stephenie was British. *sigh* Alt...
