I'm pretty sure that Alice already knows who she was as a human. The Volturi would know who the werewolves are because Aro read Edward's and Alice's minds, right?

Jane isn't a part of the guard either. Alec and she are both part of the guard, and I think that Alec's the head.

Looking good wouldn't really matter if someone can hear what you're thinking. His being overly cheerful is probably just part of personality.

I think that it would be cool to hear from Aro or Esme. We hardly hear from both of them, and I imagine that both would say something/add something to the table to shake up the series a little. Aro has a lot of experience from living for 3000 years, and his gift would make it even more interesting. ...

Regarding Jane's age; I always pictured her as being 15-16, but looking young for her age. In Twilight, Stephenie wrote that Alice looked almost like a little girl, and that's how she described Jane.

I absolutely loved the Volturi. The perfect villains, I feel that their characters are well-developed enough to sympathize with. Even if they don't, they give the illusion that they care about the Cullens. (Aro, at least.) Any speculation on how they got to the top of the metaphorical food chain? (T...

Man...I know I'm going to get bashed for this one..... I think that Bella would make a horrible mother. Not only has she proven herself selfish on more than one occasion, but she would be a danger to her child once she was changed. It would be incredibly horrible for a child if his mother and father...

Quite true. Since Jane is in the Guard, that means the (original) Volturi look upon her as a lesser being in some regard. Aro doesn't seem like the type of man (I was about to type guy, but that doesn't really describe him well, does it?) to be romantically involved with someone he deems inferior. W...

Sorry. Must reread New Moon, I've got my information mixed up. Any speculation on how the Volturi got to the top of the food chain? (no pun intended -.-)
