The Barnes and Noble in Gainesville on Archer Road is having a Prom Release Party.

I've heard conflicting information about Borders, but frankly after the way they dealt with HP7 I wouldn't go there anyway. They had you wait in line in the morning to choose the order in which people picked up their pre-paid books. So you had to wait in line twice. No thanks.

I'm betting more stores will have a release party but just haven't decided for sure yet. Probably depends on how many they pre-sell.

lol wow I so missed this thread. I hope there is something going on in my area, but from some of the other questions people asked so far there doesn't seem to be anything and even Orlando is kind of far.

I know there's going to be one in Books & Books in Coral Gables (for those in the Miami area)!

It's going to be amazing! (I'm helping to organize it) I'll let you know when I know when any ideas are for sure!

Well the closest store to me that is having one is the East Colonial Drive Borders, but another Lexiconer/Twilighter is 100% going to the WaterFord Lakes B&N so I may go there. I have atleast 5 fans going with me so where ever I go they will go too. :D

ORLANDO FANS WHAT DO YOU THINK?

I'm in Davenport/Kissimmee area and I barely know anyone willing to go with me/actually read the books, I'd definitely be willing to meet up with others in an Orlando area store!

I can try to make it to Orlando it would be cool to know I was there with people who were as rabid about the books as I am.

I don't know, I'm still discussing it with the group. We might stay home and have a wedding reception themed party if things don't work out with the book stores. That can sometimes be more fun than an official release party. :D
