Ok, Sunset Hills is winning so far. I'll probably go there unless Barnes and Noble has a better theme.

Yes! I live in/near (what's the difference, really) St. Louis too. I went to the signing in Sunset Hills last summer. It was AWESOME!!! I am so psyched that they are having a midnight release party. Now the only thing I have to do is convince my mom to let me go. Oh, and now I have successfully convinced my three best friends, plus two of their sisters (although they had a little encouragement from their own friends) to read the books and they love them. I know they''ll totally want to come too. Oh, wow, this is a long post. Oh well (like I really care if I sound completely crazy). OMG I'm just so excited!!!!!! :D :D :D

Breaking Dawn Party

Post by LibraryGirl »

Hi, we're planning a Breaking Dawn pre-party at the St. Louis County Library Headquarters on Friday, August 1. It'll be from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m., so I envision it as a "before" event, prior to everyone moving on to the bookstore midnight release parties. We'll have Twilight trivia, prizes for best costume and best fan-made t-shirt, plus Twilight-themed giveaways and bookstore gift cards. And food, of course! If anyone in the St. Louis area is interested and has ideas for other activities at our party, please feel to e-mail me at swindau@slcl.org. I'm a huge fan of the series myself, so I'm super-excited!

That might be fun to go to, I live in Springfield, IL and not all that far from St. Louis. Most of my family is in the St. Louis area so I go there all the time. Actually pretty new to the Springfield, IL area as I lived in O'Fallon, MO before I moved here.

I think as it gets a little closer to August 1st, I'll have to figure out what I want to do for release day.

this isn't set in stone, since i'm the only Twilighter in my family... i'd like to attend the BD party @ the Barnes & Noble @ Cross Keys (in Florissant.) here's the address. my friend is going and i want to go too... really bad, because i've witnessed the pandemonium last year at the HP7 release party and i was sad i haven't read the books and couldn't be apart of something like that... but now i can!

it'd be fun to go up there and see you guys and put faces to the screennames. lol

For anyone going to the release party in Sunset Hills at the Borders...I am planning on going and I hope that some others from the lex will be there. I have never been to a release party so I am excited.
