I really want to have a release party at either the local barnes and nobel or borders. I live in suffolk county so if anyone is up for the idea, let me know!

Hey! I'm a fellow Long Island-er too (who happens to live in both Nassua and Suffolk thanks to a parental divorce).

I'm trying to organize a release party at a local Barns n' Nobel, but have nothing finalized. I'm also keeping my eyes open for any in NY, NY gatherings, because, come on- there's gotta be one the in the Big Apple!

I'll give you guys whatever updates I have~

Well they have to have a New York premiere for the movie and since it's coming out 5 DAYS before my birthday, I was hoping to get tickets!

I am going to be visiting my hometown which is in Suffolk county when BD comes out. I'd really love for there to be a release party near there and I can try to help in any way if you guys are trying to set up a party......

Okay so I've tried to figure out the details of this release party that I'm trying to plan and this is what I've come with so far:

Location: Barnes and Nobels in Bayshore

The location I think is the primary step so if anyone has any other suggestions or qualms, let me know!

There is also a Borders in Bohemia, and a Barnes and Nobles near Smith Haven Mall.

Does anyone have a particular preference for a location? I mean the barnes and nobels is really roomy, that's the only reason I suggested it and I know the borders you're talking about but I think it's a bit small.

I was just listing some other books stores in the area, the Barnes and Nobles you metioned is fine. Do you think they would let a book release party happen there?
