The Borders in Northridge is officially having a midnight release party for Breaking Dawn. I was there just the other day and they have signs up telling people to pre-order and come to the release party.

HEY GUYS!! I GOT SOME IMPORTANT INFO FOR YA'LL I THINK THOSE OF YOUWHO LIVE IN LA COUNTY LIKE ME...(WOOO!!) LOL WIL WANT TO READ THIS!!! I will most likely go to the Borders in PAsadena on Lake because I live like 10 minutes away. But i'm not sure if the party will be all that fun. I went to the HPDH release party at a borders in Arcadia and they didn't really do anything. It was kind of boring. But maybe it was just that borders. I would go to the Vromans on Colorado or the Barnes and Noble on Colorodo. They're all pretty close. Maybe i'll drop by all of them and see which one has the best party lol. that is if the other two stores are even having a party...

That's Great! I live like 5 minutes from the B & N in Manhattan Beach. I will definitely be there.

Is there any new information about what exactly they are planning?

I went to Borders in Northridge Memorial day weakend and they have sign ups but there is no times or anything yet. They said as they get closer to the date there will be more info.

Oh and is anyone going to Comic Con. I am on the 26th they are suppose to have something big planned for Twilight!! Woo Hoo!!

I'm actually an employee at Borders in Rancho Cucamonga (about a 45 minute drive from LA) and I'm one of the Breaking Dawn midnight release party planners (oy! what a title!) for my store. I've noticed everyone pretty much lives in the LA area, but our store really wants to get the fans involved, and I was wondering if you guys had any ideas for the party? Naturally I have information that I can't release (hehe...) but we really want to do an Edward/Jacob debate, a chess (like the cover) tournament (and possibly checkers since not everyone is chess-savy), a possible wedding theme, and the list goes on.

Any ideas? If we could work something out, would you like to come to our store for the release night?
