okay i've decided that i'll go to one in the whittier/pico rivera/downey area. (since i don't live in central LA.) anyone else familiar with these places?

well here's my two cents,

I personally live in North Hollywood, but like I mentioned earlier I'd love to go over to Vromans. It's my favorite bookstore, and it was totally fun when steph was there. . Last year when I called them they said they couldn't do a release party because A) it was too close to Harry Potter and B) the series wasn't that popular.

Now on the contrary, 'arry Potta is over, and well Twilight has become this savage wildfire with no mercy spreading everywhere all the time everyday forever. Hahaha SO. Therefore, I'm pretty sure vromans could do it.

HOWEVER, I fully support Borders in their efforts to jump onto this crazy bandwagon by helping with lovely release parties everywhere. So either way we should all be celebrating one way or another with eachother. Yay.

I think Sept. 6th is a great day for Pt. Dumes Malibu. I'm not sure about times and if we have to make reservations or anything like that.

So I have some suggestions for the midnight release party for BD.
They are all Borders stores so here it goes

Borders in Canoga park
Borders in Torrance
Borders in Pasadena on Lake
Borders in Northridge
Borders in Glendale
And Borders in Arcadia (Santa Anita)
