I just really love Ian and his character...I just said this in the Just Ian [can't remember exact name already] Thread and its because of his personality...loving, caring, compassionate...alll that...

what i didn't say was that not only was he was able to see beyond the "evil alien who took over our earth", he even fell for Wanda...I really think you have to be really special to be able to love the "enemy" thats what i love about him...

I love Ian! I love all of the stuff he said about Wanda being beautiful because of who she was and not her body. He was so compassionate, caring, and at the end - when he was draping his arm around her in a "non platonic way"? My heart about stopped.

Where can I find one of those?

I'm with the majority that says Ian

Wanda is second, and jamie a close third
I loved his: you.are.not.leaving.me. line
and when it said that he held her in his hand and that she was so beautiful
I loved most of the Ian/Wanda bits

I think Ian is a wonderful character and can see myself having dreams about him but I chose Wanda as my favourite. She is just so selfless and never complains and does anything she can to help the others in the caves, even the people who don't like her (ahem Kyle!). I think that's the main reason that I prefer her to Bella, don't get me wrong I do like Bella as a character but I think she's a bit too emo for me, she complains so much! Wanda is refreshing in her selflessness.

I agree with that...Wanda is someone who puts everyone else BEFORE herself. Whereas, to be honest, Bella is someone who, yes, sacrifices herself for others, but, sometimes regrets it? I don't know if you understand what I mean, regret probably isn't the right word...but...for example, she went to Forks for Renee, but, when she realised what she was doing, all she could do was complain about the rain etc. to herself. Sure, I would probably do the same thing, but she chose that.

Thats probably not the best example...try another one. um...people. Wanda, regardless of who it is and what they've done to her, doesn't judge them for it, she still tries to help. But, with Bella, the first thing she thought about Eric was "overhelpful type" i think it was, and that was before she actually knew him at all. Wanda on the other hand, hates to hate anyone. She hated the fact that she hated the Seeker, though, half of that wasn't even her fault, Melanie and Melanie's body hated the Seeker because they were souls, and just like how Wanda loved Jared because Mel did, she hated the Seeker as well.

I don't know if any of that made sense, but Wanda is very selfless and not in any way self centred. she puts EVERYONE ELSE in the centre and herself on the outside.

I completely agree with Diamond Encrusted and I know what you mean about Bella, she does do selfless things but she does them because she feels obligated, Wanda does them because she wants to fit and to help people too, she is truly selfless. But I guess we have to remember that Bella is only human after all. But go Wanda!

Thanks for agreeing...and for understanding what i wrote, but yes, Bella is only human, whereas, Wanda was i suppose "raised" to love and care for others and do selfless things.

I'm definitely a Wanda fan Of course I love Ian, but Wanda's determination to do what she could to help out, even when everybody hated her guts, I thought, was the ultimate selfless thing to do. For me, it's pretty much just her entire personality that makes her so lovable. It's no wonder Ian adores her.

Oh God, that was a HARD question! i picked Ian, but Jaime and Wanderer are also some of my favourites.

i really thought that a lot of the characters in the book had beautiful personalities, Ian especially.

wanda was SO selfless. that was so fascinating to read about.
