^^She likes the Host more because she thinks it was better written, and she had more experience & she could relate to it better because of the motherly connections.

Yes, but would the soul's mind be affected at all? Or maybe it could affect the host's mind too, maybe it would make them stronger, able to resist the soul better. Or maybe the soul would turn deranged, driven wild by the thirst.

What if the vampires acquire a power, like Edward or Alice? Would the power be affected by the soul at all? Would the soul be able to use it, or could the host be able to use it against the soul?

And maybe the soul would forget about the compassion business and create a whole army of vampires with souls in them, which would lead to a chain reaction and pretty soon the whole world will be populated by vampires! Aaarrgghh!

Think of the possibilities! xD

Uh, ok, maybe I got a little carried away, but my point is there. It may not be as simple as that. =P

^^But its the same as a human changing. All the possibilities. The sould would just adapt like it normally would except this host would be a little different.

I understand what you're getting at. The physical changing would be the same thing. But mentally, now, there could be problems. >=D

At the end when we meet the other humans Nate slips up and says, "Everyone needs Burns now and then --" What is Burns' role? Does he do the same thing Wanda does by getting supplies for them or is he a healer?

It's dumb, but here we go.

How come the souls are able to stay in the cyrotanks for hundreds of lifetimes, when outside they can't stay alive for more than a few hours?

Drives me nuts trying to think of an answer. humph.
