So I read through all nine pages of this thread and I have to agree with basically everything that every other person has said. I absolutely love Ian. In the beginning I thought I was going to dislike him so much but he definitely changed my opinion. Taking on the role as Wanderer's protector, falling in love with Wanderer(not Mel's body...and yes, I get fuzzys inside when I read the chapter when Ian finds out about Wanderer and he confronts her..and all that jazz ) but just being a nice and caring person to her after he begins to get to know her, not to mention sexy. lol

He is AWESOME in Becoming Jane... go see Wanted. It's kind of intense and twisted, but my god his eyes are piercing... he's shirtless... and kicking some butt.
Anyways I totally agree with you both about him as Ian

I do see some similarities between Ian and Edward, but I like that about Ian seeing that I'm obsessed with Edward. He is just so caring beyond belief. What I found really sweet was when Wanda was in the cryotank he wouldn't left anyone touch it not even Jared or Melanie, he was so protective. AND he didn't care what kind of body they brought back for Wanda, he just wanted his Wanda back. Geez... I thought that was just the epitome of true love.

Yes! I absolutely loved when we were told that Ian wouldn't let anyone else put a finger on her cyrotank! Even Mel or Jamie.
It's so cute when Ian is overprotective, I also love reading the part after Wanda saves Jamie and everyone is sleeping clumped together and Ian is saying he doesn't want her to go on any more raids. He shows us for maybe the 3rd time that he knows exactly how Wanda thinks, that she would go on a raid without even thinking about herself if it was better for the group. Ian is just amazing. Period.

I have seen Wanted-amazinggg-and Atonement, though the latter disappointed me a bit but I loved it. Also the Last King of Scotland is an good movie too. Its pretty informing too because it's based off of true events. My friend and I decided he is getting an reputation in movies..though that one died when Wanted released.

Ian is a diamond in the rough. He was abbrassive and rude to begin with, but once you peeled back the course outer layer lay a beautiful radiant person. He is so kind and gentle. His eyes...man..to melt for (as described). Love him..he's the kind of guy I would fall for had I not already met my partner and married him. lol..(of course he would have to accept my love of Edward).
